Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Julie was very cooperative when I told her about some problems. She even let me use the washer and dryer at Bender. We forgot to mention the deadbolt was not working. Other than the issues I told Julie and the deadbolt that was it.

Great location right on the beach. Just steps to the sand. Enjoy family dinners and quite evenings. Just minutes to all the great shops.

Great Condo

Renting through VRBO and dealing with the Property manager could not have been easier! The condo was well cleaned and was exactly as described. You are only a few steps to the ocean. If you don’t want to carry chairs and umbrellas back and forth from the beach there are chairs and umbrella’s for rent at a reasonable rate. The property is family friendly and I will definitely rent again.

This was our first time in 1A and it fit our needs very well. Our only complaint within the condo is the condition of the sofa - it is not comfortable and appears to have seen many years. That is an easy fix and would not deter us from staying in 1A in the future.

Perfect last minute getaway

The condo was very clean and the Sandpiper complex was nice as well. My kids enjoyed the pool and being right on the beach. The particular unit does not have a beach view but that wasn't a big deal to us this trip. The ladies at Bender Realty were super nice and helpful! The only bad thing about the condo was the bed in the Master bedroom. It was very uncomfortable. Other than that we enjoyed the condo and location!

Simple repairs should have been done ahead of time

The globe in bedroom with two double beds was broken. Found the broken piece in the dresser drawer. Left it out on top of dresser to be found. Door to laundry does not latch shut. Ring towel rack in main bathroom fell off and was not tight. Pans in kitchen were covered in dried burnt food. Strap broken on outdoor chair. Couch could be replaced very uncomfortable. Would recommend this property to others after proper repairs done.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation rental was dirty. The shower and kitchen sink had mold. The curtains and tables were dusty. We couldn't we walk in the floors barefooted because the floors were filthy. The bottom of our feet were black. I went to the store and bought cleaning products to get us through the week. I have pictures of rusty nails that were in parking lot along with broken glass. The air condition filter looked like it hasn't been changed in a long while. The whole cond looked like it wasn't used or cleaned in a long time. On top of all that we were not warned of the pressure washing that took place all week. The neighbors upstairs were very heavy footed all morning, noon and night. We've stayed in the Sandpiper before and we loved it, this time not so much. The living room furniture wa gross. I covered it with sheets just so we could gather in living room. Will never stay in this unit again!

The property is very clean and well maintained. There was someone always grilling in the evenings which was a nice option to dining out. The pool is heated which is nice when it's cooler. Our room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again and book with Bender Realty. Missy and Betty were the best!!
