My family absolutely enjoyed this rental. The room was so cute and had everything we needed. The beach was easily accessible, especially for my little boy. There was no headache of waiting for an elevator! Will book again!

Great for a softball team!

We booked 8 condos for the USSSA National Championship. The property was small enough to allow the families to be together and for our kids to be safe. Parking was so easy and no long waits for elevators. We enjoyed our stay!

Pictures aren’t always what they seem.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Run Away!!!! Beds are bad, Hugh end table in master with barely space to get in bathroom. Black mold in shower. All tv’s had no connection to internet had to mess with tv’s for 2hrs for my kids. Very old furniture. Me lease thing was bender they were so rude and disrespectful paid 700.00 to try and see this area for us to move to and I spend the day on the phone with these people signing documents one one of our days coming out cause their computer were working had to screen shot that I signed this document cause they keep calling saying I did complete it. Then lady treated me like a child and told me how to do it and I said I know how to e sign I have a screen show I’ll send you that says it’s complete. Then you have to go pick up some dumb papers from another location and a parking pass. These things could be left in hotel. All I can say if you are looking to enjoy your time in gulf shore don’t stay here. And it’s not worth the more.

We used the condo grills- get there early as grills are used a lot- could probably use a few more in the complex for use. Condo was clean enough upon arrival, but there was a shirt on balcony from previous occupant and a few scraps of trash. Overall, would recommend and use again!

The pool used to be filled with children having a good time and the 2 weeks we were there the pool was empty. I would have gone to another place if I would have known that the advertised amenities were not available. My son and grandchildren were planning to go swimming on their spring break. My friends know that this is my spring break destination but unsure about future stays.

Close to all restaurants and shopping.Some nice things were done to the condo I stayed in, however there are several things that need updates. Upholstered chair is very dirty and Shag Rug in LR is dirty and should be replaced. I rolled rug up and stored during my stay.

Nice family friendly property — needs a few updates

Rugs in bathrooms do not appear to be washed, this is second time now, different units. Fridge not cooling (took a while to get attention), when repair came cleaned under appliance. Caked with years of dust, cooling fan could not work.

Review of complex in general as experienced by my extended family

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My extended family has come to Gulf Shores, Sandpiper for 26+ years (60 to 75 persons per year). My condo 10A was in excellent condition and updated recently. My complaint was with the continuous failure of the elevator. Especially on the check-in and checkout days. This has happened for at least 10 years. My siblings all complained of the lack of dishes, utensils, un-updated appliances, old, original furniture, flat screen TVs (TV are less expensive now than just a few years ago), carpet, etc. in their units ( 15 spoons, 4 forks, etc). We have been coming long enough to know the original bamboo furniture We understand that there have recently been low rental years because of mother nature & BP, but that is not our problem or fault. We love the size of the facility (48 units) and proximity to the pool and beach. If we did not, we would not come back year after year. Bill Bender and Bender Realty are a major reason for our return each year. Something has to be done to encourage owners to commit to a major update of their units. Maybe a rating system of each unit twice a year (Dec. & July. Based on your rating could determine which units get rented first. I have noticed that along with the overall deterioration of the complex, the quality and life style of your tenants has deteriorated as well. Clean it up. Fix it up and raise the rental fees accordingly. I rent two units (10A & 11A). 11A is great and 10A is needing major upgrades of furniture and appliances & utensils (I pay nearly or the same amount for each which isn't fair.). There is a brand new complex up the road toward 59 that has 4 bedrooms & 4 baths that I can rent for $3000.00 per week! This is nearly the same as I am paying (siblings too!)for inferior accommodations at the un-updated condos at the Sandpiper. I own my own business and sometimes I have to spend money to make money long term. So do you owners.

We did not open again and reported it when departed. Love the new decorations and non carpet. We will stay here again. Very clean.
