El Pacífico le susurrará que duerma todas las noches en esta casa de cuatro dormitorios y 2. 5 baños, y llegar a la playa es fácil: el acceso está a solo 50 pies de la entrada de la casa de al lado. El nivel inferior tiene un garaje para dos autos y una sala de juegos con una mesa de ping pong y un montón de libros y juegos para entretener a los niños. The ocean view was amazing. The house is very nice and accommodated our large family very well. However, we found that most of the dishes were not very clean and some still had food on them. So we needed to wash dishes before we used them. We also found that every bed was very hard and uncomfortable, causing a lot of aches and pains for our family. The house is not accessible, and there are stairs to climb to get into the house. That was a little hard for one of our family members that has osteoporosis. I would also recommend that there is a warning that the driveway is extremely steep and vehicles with less horsepower may have difficulty getting up the hill. We did fine with the hill with our SUVs. We where ready to leave after the 2nd night because the beds were so uncomfortable. Memory foam toppers would have been nice. Despite the unpleasant beds, the home was comfortable and the oceanfront experience was the best!

Beautiful and serene

Our stay at the Anchor House was amazing. The view and the location were perfect. We were in our own little private area with the only sound being the ocean and the laughter of our Grandchildren and family. We could not have asked for better weather and beautiful sunsets every night. The driveway was quite a challenge, real steep. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen.

Great getaway

Plenty of space, great location. Was the driveway terrifyingly steep, sure, but don’t let that stop you. The beds weren’t overly comfortable and the kitchen could be stocked with some better food prep items but overall, we really enjoyed our stay! The ping-pong table in the garage was so fun to have. I would recommend this place.

Beautiful home on the beach

This home was so nice and cozy. Clean, comfortable, well stocked. Plenty of space. Beautiful location on the beach. We enjoyed beach combing. The deck is a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy the ocean views. The driveway is very steep, but (after getting the courage) we were able to use it without any problems.

Our stay here was enjoyable and relaxing. The views from the patio and the master suite were exceptional. Access to the beach is just a minute walk away. Check in process is very simple and the management staff is very responsive when you reach out with questions. There are some things that I feel need to be addressed by the owner/property management. One being the broken shelf in the refrigerator that is just a 12 pack of cokes away from completely collapsing and ruining someone’s day and the broken blinds in the living room…if you don’t plan on getting the incidentals insurance you should rethink it. The kitchen appliances and cooking utensils are subpar to say the least. The blender is very old and does not hold liquids due to a crumbling and torn gasket, and the lid isn’t even the correct one for that blender either. There’s a safety concern in the master suite if you have toddlers with you…the windows do not have screens or a way to leave them partially open without the worry of a bird flying in or a kid climbing up and over the short window ledge.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: VRBO advertising said there is a hot tub but we could not find it. It was the primary reason we chose this property, so we were extremely disappointed.

Great view

Great place, but the cleaning service didn't come by to clean up before we got there. There were wine and beer bottles in various places in the house. A powder spill in the garage, ping pong stuff left out, and not sure if the blankets were washed as there was (too much of) someone elses hair on one of them. Great view. Nice place. But for $3000 for 3 days, I expected more. And yes, the driveway is insanely steep.

Beautiful view but watch the driveway

We loved our family time at this beautiful home. It was the perfect size for 8 adults and two little children. The views were amazing! Unfortunately the driveway is extremely steep. We had a dodge challenger that struggled to get out. The higher lifted cars were fine. There was also mold in the upstairs bathroom and one person who traveled with us has asthma and had a bad cough while we were there. The rest of the home and property was clean and well cared for.

The view was fantastic! Clean house!

My close friends and I rented the house for the weekend for my 50th birthday the house was beautiful and we loved the veiw! We went to dinner on Saturday when we got a call from the property manager saying there was a complaint that we had a dog in the house super frustrating because we didn't and they doubted us! The dog belonged to the house next to us! Thanks for interrupting our dinner!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation was overall nice, however I had contacted the owner about the mold since a previous renter had mentioned, and I never heard back. I was unable to sit on any of the couches and had to stay away from the basement.

Horrific Cliff Driveway

This property has a driveway that is so steep only one of our vehicles could get down and up. That vehicle had the front end scraped due to the horrific grade of the driveway. Unfortunately, the side of the driveway is also unreasonably steep and this is where you access the stairs to get to the road and the beach by foot. Although I contacted the property managers about this issue and the inclusion of it on the VRBO site, I have never heard back.

Amazing Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing stay at the home! The home has lots of windows so you dont miss out on the beautiful view and gorgeous sunset. The home was very clean aside from the very strong smoke smell. We were able to somewhat air it out from the top floors to make it manageable. The basement had a very very strong smoking odor so we just avoided that area which is where all fun rec games are. Otherwise I was still impressed with the home being clean and just a very comfortable layout of the home. 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms and plenty of couch space if needed. Thanks for the amazing stay!! Was happy for the warning of the steep driveway it definitely is but still not something to stop me from renting again just have to be super careful driving in and out.

Amazing view - terrible driveway

Pros/Cons Pros: -Updated and clean house -Water is clean and doesn't have a funky taste (common with some older beach homes) -Many incredible window views -Well insulated -Photos accurately depicted the house which is often times not the case with listings -Beach access is less than 1 minute walk down the road -Great view and close to tide pools -Good selection of cookware, cups etc -Incredibly fast high speed internet. averaged over 100 download speed and we had multiple devices going. -Furniture and beds are comfortable and clean -Great covered deck -Plenty of beach toys for kids -Nightlights in the house -Lots of ocean life. Even saw two whales on our first day though we didn't see them again. Cons: -The driveway is absolutely terrible. Incredibly steep and off of an already steep hill road. Other reviews mention this. If you plan on having 2 cars, definitely plan to park one in the garage as space is extremely limited. If you plan on having 3 cars, be prepared to get creative or ask the hotel at top of hill if you can park a vehicle up there. The house's physical photo album has pictures of the construction of the driveway and accurately named the page, "Construction of the driveway from hell." -Beach access point is not maintained. You will have to carefully walk down large rocks that stormwater drainage is making worse. Not terrible but be careful. -Jacuzzi tub in master suite needed cleaning. Black stuff came out when turned on. Would stay there again.

The very steep drive way house!

Everything was great but the drive way was much steeper than it showed on pictures! We have an SUV and scraped bottom going over the top and coming back up we had to put it in 4 wheel drive!

Amazing ocean view

RIGHT on the beach. Just sand and ocean and tide pools. The sound was soothing at night and and the sunsets perfect. Don’t let the driveway scare you. If you’ve driven up a hill or down a hill in San Francisco this is nothing. House was sized perfect for three couple and three early teeners. Will say the home is dated- don’t expect up to date and by up to date, the last ten years up to date, furnishings or surfaces. It was fun telling the kids this is what the early 90’s looked like. That said, appliances worked, showers were hot, and the view…
