Sandy Feet- Meredith Lodging

Stylish, fun and modern, this one-bedroom apartment is perfect for one to four people looking for a sweet, convenient stay in Manzanita. Located below the main floor of a home but with its own private entrance and fenced yard, Sandy Feet is just two blocks from the beach for seven miles of ways to get your feet sandy. There is a footpath to the beach leading from the home! The pretty, updated interior of this home is loaded with thoughtful amenities to make your stay easy and delightful. The living room furnishings are comfortable and fun, and the large flat-screen HDTV/DVD/Blu-ray will keep you entertained along with a bonus room that contains a selection of books, games, puzzles, art supplies, and a foosball table. The bright, modern kitchen complete with a Keurig (K-cups not provided) makes meals a breeze and there’s an expandable table for dining. There is a beautiful queen bedroom updated with luxury linens and a spa-like bathroom across the hall. The custom bathroom has myrtle wood countertops and a multi-jet walk-in shower. After your walk to the beach, you can rinse off those sandy feet in a semi-enclosed outdoor shower and enjoy the newly added firepit. You’ll be happy to retreat to this charming haven after a day hiking Neahkahnie Mountain or exploring the North Oregon Coast. Grab a friend and see!

Clean, comfortable facility, 2 blocks from beach. Well stocked, very comfortable for my wife and I. Only problem was sheets with some small, old blood spots on them. Kinda gross.

Great location to the beach, but no view from the house. Owners who live upstairs are very loud with a dog. It was hard for our family to enjoy some quiet or rest.

A perfect place for a cozy coast getaway with dogs. The apartment had everything we needed and I loved the private fenced in yard. It is a short walk to the beach. Heat and AC worked well and the shower has multiple jets. We will definitely stay here again

Great stay, everything we needed

The place was clean, had a yard for the dogs, close to the beach, plenty of sleeping options and a game room for the kids. Would stay again.

The Good The Bad & The Ugly. Getting in difficult , code was wrong. Called 5 times, cut off. Could not see lock box. Phone service did not work once I went down the steps. Their email lists a text# yet Vrbo advertises that they provide 24/7 customer service. The steps mossy & slippery. Beautiful & spacious inside. Bathroom amazing. shower spews ice cold water directly on you. No cross ventilation. mini-split worthless. Flooring very thin. Upstairs walking sounded like stomping & construction. Bed comfortable. Toilet above us sounded like a waterfall flowing down the wall next to my head. SMOKE ALARM WENT OFF TWICE while watching a Netflix movie. Not our fault. TV came on loud w/NO instruct on which of the 4 remotes to use. Tried them all. DVD didn't work. I discovered that if I speak into the one used for Netflix say “Set volume to __" it worked. They supplied a bottomless salt and pepper shaker. No spices. They did mention this but c’mon. cheap. Coffee makers but no coffee. That’s cheap. buy a big box at Costco & the cost is 35 cents per k-cup. No cooking oil. Hell - bring your whole damn kitchen b/c the fry pan handle is coming off & the big fry pan is scratched & dirty. Nice grocery store called Manzanita Fresh Foods 10 minutes South due to my own investigation not from anything they provided. Guest Portal outdated info. expected ping pong found foosball. several doors open to other parts of the house, make sure they are locked

Peaceful retreat close to the beach

This place was perfect for what we needed. My boyfriend, our dog, and I stayed for Memorial Day Weekend and loved being so close to the beach, in a safe and quiet part of town. Would stay again.

Fantastic vacation

We had an amazing time staying here. The house suited our needs perfectly, and was very cozy. The short walk to the beach was very convenient, and we watched the sunset from there every night.

Well-appointed, peaceful unit!

Loved everything about this place. Modern amenities, comfortable bed, beautiful shower, and lots of light but not too much in the bedroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable stay

Comfortable bed, nice shower, generally supplied well. Just a quick walk to the beach, and a totally fenced yard with fire pit to enjoy. Quiet and peaceful and relaxing!

Beach getaway

This place is exactly what we were looking for, a sweet, safe little home to enjoy the coast in. The property is perfect for dog owners and super close to the beach! Very relaxing and cozy. Would definitely book here again!
