Nice location with beautiful view. Rented boat but caught nothing! One thing that would of been nice to have would be patio lounge chairs to take afternoon nap or enjoy the view.

trip to the springs

we were a large group of airboats we ran the marsh and visited the springs. the stay was amazing. we will definitly be coming back.

Second timer

This is such a great location and property and the owner very responsive and helpful! We had such a great time in 2023, we booked it again this year. It accommodates all our family very well and we are able to have extended family over for meals, birthday celebrations, etc.

Nice Place on the Water

Overall, a clean and quiet place to stay on the lake. The patio is a great place to relax. Bed sheets and some towels had stains though. Owner was very responsive. Fish weren’t biting, but that was probably the fishermen’s fault :)

Quick trip with Fam

The host of the property lives directly next door and chatted us up a few times. Some may like that, others will not. We thoroughly enjoyed using the pontoon and dock to fish which is what we we there for. We gave very short notice (do NOT recommend) and although the host was very gracious enough to allow this, and we were told the AC just got turned back on as we were headed there and I said Im sure it would be fine, it most certaintly was not. It was absolutely miserable hot for several hours after our arrival. All this to say, give at least 12 hours notice to host for her to turn the ac on and hopefully she does WELL in advance for you. The home itself is very well kempt. Its a lakehouse for sure. The furnishings are extremely outdated but suitable for what it is. We used sheets on the couch because the fabric was rough. Fyi: There are table settings for 4 that I noticed. Some additions I would ask of the host: night stands in queen bedroom are necessary. Keurig would be nice but not necessary. Puzzles and games would be a great addition for rainy days. (The thrift store down the street has a ton!) Once, the air got to the set temperature it works great. We desperatly needed more blankets and throws in the living room are necessary. Note: bring your own games, puzzles, and fishing poles. And blankets! Although, this stay had some misses I would definitely return as the spot is great for fishing. Its no Ritz, nor does it claim to be or need to be.

Great getaway with view

Booked for a long weekend with my best friend which we hadn’t seen each other for about 4 years. Wonderful home right on lake, one of the cleanest places I’ve rented, homes larger than pictures, stocked with ever needed, rented the patio boat and kayaks. Perfect weather and amazing view. Cool small town feel. Very attentive owner lives next door and super helpful. Definitely will be back.

MI snowbirds

Jeanette was an excellent friendly helpful host. The home was so clean, the view excellent and very well equipped. Walked in the neighborhood daily or in town which is a great town. Weather wasn’t as warm as normal but the whole country was below normal. Would definitely recommend this place

Good for family time

Jeanette communicated timely and was very helpful during our stay. It is a great location for relaxing and the home has a nice open floor plan. We enjoyed a big dinner on the wrap around screened-in patio. Plenty of places to sit and tables/counters in and out.

Great place and Host

Jeanette does a great job keeping this well equipped and comfortable home in wonderful shape. Home is spacious and in a beautiful lakeside location. Has a great screened in porch with a lakeside view. She is friendly, accommodating, and we actually had the opportunity to be treated to a boat ride. My elderly mother came along and had a fantastic time. We will be back.

Family vacation

Had a great time and the house was perfect. My kids loved fishing from the dock and taking the kayaks out on the lake. We all enjoyed the pontoon boat that was available as well. Thank you again for the chance to make memories at your lake house.

My Husband and I moved to Inverness, FL from Pinellas County in 2000. We have been working and living here in this paradise ever since. Our rental house is right next door so we can be available if any problems or questions arise.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This area has great fishing. Bass as well as Crappie fishing. We moved here for that reason. Skip used to fish this area before there were houses. He would camp on the shore and fish for bass. He caught the biggest bass of his life right out back of our rental over 30 years ago and he was hooked.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Beautiful Area with all the necessities but also the peacefulness of a small town. Bike trail, groceries and restaurants all within a 2 mile range. Even a Pub and Grub you can drive to by car or boat if your out on the water and couple wineries within 10 or so miles, as well as the Villages. Many Golf courses and a local race track. Various open fishing tournaments, bring your buddies and come on out. Horseback riding and Hiking available in the many wildlife management areas. Even some caves in the Withlacoochee State Forest.
