Nueva casa de carruajes en el Chop

Recién construido, esta espectacular cochera de 2 dormitorios está ubicada en una finca de 3/4 acres en la hermosa East Chop Drive. El interior está acabado con una decoración de primera línea que incluye una sala de estar bellamente decorada, dormitorios y cocina profesional de sala abierta con encimeras de granito e isla. Otras comodidades incluyen un lavaplatos, compactador de basura, aire acondicionado, ventiladores de techo en cada habitación, ducha a ras de suelo y lavadora y secadora de gran capacidad en el garaje de abajo.

El dormitorio principal tiene 1 cama king y el segundo dormitorio tiene 1 cama queen. El sofá cama también es de tamaño queen. Todas las habitaciones tienen televisores inteligentes y sistemas de sonido Bluos para escuchar su música favorita, y hay tomas de carga USB en toda la casa. Suelos de madera de nogal con alfombras orientales.

La cubierta exterior está amueblada con muebles de Lloyd Flanders y tiene vistas a hermosos jardines. La casa está a solo minutos de Jetty Beach y del centro de Oak Bluffs, donde encontrarás muchas atracciones, excelentes restaurantes y maravillosas tiendas locales. Hay una entrada privada a Carriage House en West Ave.

Creemos que el mayor activo de permanecer en nuestra cochera es la privacidad y la serenidad. Sentado en la terraza con vistas a los hermosos jardines, tomando el aire fresco del océano. La mejor parte es salir por la puerta, atravesar el patio ajardinado y terminar en el '' Chop '' donde tomarás la casa East Chop Light y el hermoso sonido de Nantucket. Además de estar ubicado en East Chop Drive, puedes caminar fácilmente a la playa local, al centro de Oak Bluffs, donde encontrarás excelentes restaurantes como el Red Cat, The Chowder Company (que, por cierto, tiene la mejor sopa), Lookout Tavern, De Nancy, galletas para nombrar unos pocos. Perfect Carriage House

We had a great stay at the carriage house - I'm giving it 5 stars all around as that's as high a rating as I can give it. Elaine is a great host, the house is lovely and clean and perfectly equipped - kitchen, towels, sheets, furniture, etc. The location was great for our getaway. It is right across the street from the water and very quiet and serene.

Fabulous location

The perfect place to land and just the right amount of space. Lots of natural light and comfortable beds. Being along the East Chop bluffs was perfect for morning walks/runs down to the public beach for a swim! It was quiet. Elaine was just a text away and we had everything we needed. Walk to town for morning donuts, and easy driving distance to both OB (State Beach, restaurants, town) and VH (shopping, restaurants). We highly recommend this spot!

Great house, great hosts, highly recommend. :)

The hosts were there to welcome us to their house, and explain everything. The house is amazing and modern, with no issues. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to downtown Oak Bluffs. They were always quick to respond to our inquiries. Highly recommend.

A Great Escape

This carriage house was a perfect spot for a mini-vacation. Conveniently located 5 min from the ferry with the possibility to walk or bike into town, well-equipped kitchen and grill, comfortable living room and deck and beautiful garden surrounding the carriage house. The place was spotless when we arrived and the owner was very responsive. It was just what we had hoped for!

Relaxing and great location

The carriage house is lovely in every way. It is very quiet, as advertised, and close to both Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. My only disappointment was the deck as it was in the hot sun except for early morning and evening. A bigger, better umbrella or retractable awning would help a lot. Also, a small table to eat at either inside or on the deck for perfection.

A romantic twosome

Me and my wife had our wedding anniversary for a 4 nights at Elaine's Carriage House and it was exactly what we were looking for. The place is a high-quality quiet and comfortable haven in MV. Everything is very well thought through to a minute details. The kitchen is very nice and has all the appliances and kitchenware that you need. We felt very welcome and Elaine was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely like to come back again!

Perfect in Every Way!

In addition to the Carriage House and its gardens being absolutely beautiful, it is clean and exceptionally well appointed with all high end furnishings and decor. Everything we needed was there, and the peaceful neighborhood and proximity to all our destinations while on the island was perfect. Elaine is a very gracious and helpful host. I highly recommend this gorgeous place to truly relax and hear the birds of East Chop as well as have the buoy bell in the distance lull you to sleep. We will be back!

Icing On The Cake

While we so looked forward to spending time on Martha’s Vineyard, we of course were nervous to select a place to stay which would enhance this stay. We really feel like our stay was the “icing on the cake”. We found an immaculate, cozy and comfortable experience at this property. It could not have been easier, or more enjoyable. Obviously a lot of thought went into designing this space and so many small touches from our hosts were very much appreciated. This is a real gem and we are happy to have found it.

Lovely stay in Martha’s

My wife and I had the best time at Elaine and Kevin’s property. We worked during the week from the cottage which was equipped with high speed internet. Then had the opportunity to explore the area in our downtime. We could not have enjoyed it more. It is perfect walking distance from town. Very close to Vineyard Haven which is full of interesting shops and restaurants. We enjoyed tennis at the club down the street and golf at Farm Neck. We could not have had a better time. Kevin and Elaine are phenomenal people and hosts. We hope to be back!!!

Beautiful East Chop Carriage House

Wonderful two bedroom carriage house on a gorgeous East Chop property directly across from East Chop Lighthouse. The carriage house is beautifully appointed, with two spacious bedrooms and a well-equipped gourmet kitchen. Can accommodate two couples or a small family with no problems. The property is shared with a main house, with beautiful landscaping throughout the property. The carriage house has it's own separate driveway/parking area and a large deck off of the comfortable living room. All furnishings are newer and in excellent condition. The kitchen features all high-end appliances for preparing great meals and there is also a gas grill on the deck. The bathroom has a spa shower for post-beach cleanups. A full-size washer and dryer are available in the garage below the carriage house. Everything you could possibly need is provided in terms of kitchen items, linens, towels (including beach towels), beach chairs, even a pair of bikes. The owner was on-site the week we were there and she was super responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. Overall just a wonderful property for a relaxing Vineyard vacation. I would definitely stay there again!

Short vacation stay

The Grassa's home was a beautiful, comfortable place to spend a short vacation. My family primarily traveled to MV for a college essay writing course so it was a relatively short vacation. However, we ended up relaxing instead of touring one of the days because the home was an ideal place to lounge. We enjoyed a day of reading and relaxation. I would definitely choose this property again.

Slice of Heaven

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, it was a true pleasure to stay at this home. The property is close enough to walk to the downtown area , but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The gardens on the property were amazing and we loved watching the birds and the deer passing through. We spent nights on the deck and just looked up at the stars. 🌟 Our hosts were too kind and they went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We would definitely go back!!!!

Gracious and attentive hosts, Cape Cod hospitality at its finest.

Absolutely gorgeous home situated in a English garden, directly across from a picturesque light house. Exquisitely appointed with high end cookware, appliances and designer inspired finishes. All the comforts of home. Gracious and accommodating hosts. A true gem in Martha’s Vineyard.

Beach Cottage Splendor

The six of us so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, well-appointed beach cottage. My mother and mother-in-law particularly appreciated the thoughtfully well-equipped kitchen. We spent many happy meals inside and out, celebrating my husband's birthday on the lovely deck, surrounded by bird calls and the fresh sea air. My dad biked around 50 miles across the island in one day, thanks to the bikes made available during our stay. The cottage location is wonderful - situated directly across from the beautiful East Chop Lighthouse. A walk along the nearby road overlooking the sea as butterflies danced to and fro by the bluffs is a memory I will long savor. The hosts were highly responsive during our stay, available through messaging via VRBO as well as directly over the phone to help us enjoy the sound system throughout the cottage and deck. We will forever treasure our visit here.

East Chop Heaven

The property was excellent ! It was better than the pictures , clean, up to date , comfortable and at a perfect location. Besides that , the hosts , Elaine and Kevin arranged so that there was no rain! I look forward to returning to this property .

The house was perfectly located, had all of the amenities needed and a beautiful kitchen. The house was easily accessible and ready for us once we arrived. Would definitely consider rebooking at the Carriage House.

We have been vacationing on Martha's Vineyard for over 25 years. We were blessed to have been able to purchase a beautiful piece of property on East Chop Drive, Oak Bluffs, nine years ago, doing a total renovation of the main house and then building a carriage house a year later. We are very protective of our properties as we have put our heart and soul into building and decorating our homes resulting in a spectacular main house and carriage house, in addition to our properties off island. This will be our forth year of renting and continue to welcome guests who will appreciate and enjoy the experience of staying in our beautiful carriage house, smelling the ocean air, walking the Chop and taking in how beautiful the island really is.

We would walk East Chop Drive with our daughter when visiting Oak Bluffs and always loved how beautiful it was. We were lucky to be able to buy this piece of property 9 years ago after it had been empty for10 years. One of the best decisions we ever made!

What is truly unique about our location is the serenity and quietness. The only thing you should hear are the beautiful birds chirping and at times the sound of the buoy bells ringing on a stormy night.
