Holly's Pond House es una encantadora casa de campo de 3 habitaciones muy cerca de New River Gorge y Adventures on the Gorge. The home was beautiful. Loved the hills all around it that were alive in color. Only concern were the carpets & throw rugs. All of us slid & al.ost fell. Need pads to prevent this. Very dNgerous in all rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pond Cottage. The location was excellent and reasonably close to the NRG National Park as well as Babcock and Hawk's Nest state parks. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen (we particularly liked the magic refrigerator that could be opened to reveal only what was in the door shelves for easier access to water and beer!) In addition, there were many added touches such as extra blankets, well stocked spices, local tour books, plentiful towels as well as books and games. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. We were able to accomplish quite a bit throughout our 4-night stay but would definitely like to return at some point to complete a few more items on our list. Would absolutely recommend the property as well as the location. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

We had a great week at the cottage! The location was perfect. Private but close to everything. We traveled 5-40 minutes to hiking trails and overlooks, spent a day on Summersville Lake and enjoyed local restaurants less than 15 minutes from the house. PJ is super responsive, quickly getting information for us when there was a power outage. The house is cozy with a well stocked kitchen. For families traveling with younger children, there is a foosball table in the living room that makes the space a bit tight. Parking was a little cramped with 2 trucks and a car. We loved the outdoor spaces, especially watching deer in the yard, the hot tub, and mornings relaxing on the front porch overlooking the pond. We would stay here again!

Adorable cottage with log cabin feeling interior. Everything inside seemed very clean with the exception of ceiling fans, which I did mention to the owner. Tons of towels provided which was appreciated but no shelf in the stand up shower to hold soap or shampoo. We did not have time to use the hot tub. There was plenty of firewood for evening bonfires. The outdoor table and chairs could use a good scrubbing but the bonfire chairs and front porch rockers were nice.The location of this cottage was great and very convenient if you are visiting the Gorge. Very easy check in and check out. Would stay here again.

Perfect home away from home.

This property suited our needs perfectly. We stayed here for 3 nights to explore the NRG area. We had our dog with us and the yard was great to let him run and explore. Would stay here again if in the area.

Cozy cabin

The cabin was very cozy, relaxing with nice beds. The area is very nice, and it is very close to the scenic bridge. Was a little disappointed that some of the basic supplies were not provided like aluminum foil, scissors, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. For the two-night price that was expected based on other cabins we have rented in the past. There is a store Faily close, and we just ran out for a supply trip. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Nice for a short stay, but not any longer than a few daya

The property was located in a great place to see the area of New River Gorge. We were staying for 8 nights but fiund it difficult to unpack as there are not closets and the rooms that do have a closet do not have a bar to hang anything on. It could use a deep cleaning and dusting, windows washed etc. The beds are comfortable but quite squeaky. Like i said nice for a few days but unable to umpack made it difficult to get settled in.

So relaxing!

We were headed to North Carolina and found out our location had to be canceled due to Helene. We reached out very last minute (as we were driving to the area) and the host was so incredibly gracious. The house was super comfortable and in such a relaxing area. We would highly recommend this host and location. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Best weekend ever

We came into town for our son’s wedding for 4 days and the owners couldn’t have been more accommodating for all our extra needs with all the wedding extra needs. I would give them 100 star rating if I could. Any question or need was answer or taken care of immediately.

Perfect Location!

Easy straightforward check-in to the property and everything was in great order. We visited to hike and white water raft the location was perfectly situated between the rafting outfitter, Adventures on the Gorge, and the New River Gorge NP visitors center. The hot tub was perfect at the end of the day to relax and rejuvenate for the next day of adventure. PJ was a very responsive host. Hope to come back again next year!!

Fun for the Family

We had a short stay but it was a 10 out of 10 experience. The home is only about a 5 min drive from Adventure on the Gorge where we went rafting. The interior of the home was for clean and comfortable. But it was the pond out front that made this home an instant hit. Our kids had an absolute blast fishing in the pond and had great success. We hope we are lucky enough to find availability in the future to rent again.

Great location

This cute little cottage was perfect for a getaway weekend with friends (6 of us was tight but it worked). The location is ideal for anything you want to do in the NRG. The owner is incredibly responsive. The only things we were disappointed with were that there was no shampoo or soap (other than pump hand soap) in the bathrooms (we should have brought our own) AND the pond, while beautiful, is tiny and there was no fishing to be done. Description does mention predators. Also, the bedrooms have nowhere to put clothes —no closets or even a hook on the back of a door. Otherwise, the bath towels were amazing and plentiful. The kitchen amenities were great. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The back deck table and chairs were too dirty to use. Loved the fire pit with firewood provided. We would come back.

Beautiful cabin

Everything was exceptional, excellent. Loved the fire pit with enough chairs for all of us, hot tub was a hit, grill always a plus. Communication with owner excellent. Quiet and green, beautiful. Very close to New River Gorge Adventures which was a big plus also

Excellent accommodations!

Beautiful property! Perfect size for our family of 6. This place was immaculately clean top to bottom! Close to all the activities we wanted to partake in. Highly recommend The Pond house!

New River Gorge Perfection

We loved it so much we booked it for next year before we left. The property has everything you need down to cooking spices and board games. The house is situated close enough to activities that travel time is super short but is also so secluded that you feel like you’re the only family around. The fire pit was a nightly routine. Super clean super well equipped. A 10/10.

Gem in the woods!

Holly’s Pond House is tucked in off of a back road, but very close to all the action at New River Gorge National Park. The house was cozy and beautifully decorated and fit our family of 5 adults. The property boasts a large outdoor space with yard, fire pit, deck, and hot tub. The photos don’t show what a gem of a property this is. I was most impressed with the friendliness of the owners and offers to make our stay comfortable. I would definitely reserve this property again.
