Suited our needs just fine.

We were a group of 10 and it was nice to have out own space and bathrooms. There were a few cosmetic things, but the hosts were available to help when we arrived and the kitchen had all the tools we needed. We would stay again.

Golf trip

Property was an excellent location and had plenty of space for our entire golf trip group. Everyone had their own beds and bathrooms which was very nice and the hot tub was excellent after a long day of golf!

Place was well stocked with supplies and clean linen. Close to attractions we were interested in doing. Hot tub kids loved it. All those steps up and down to our bedroom…Over all very nice place!!..Would definitely go back again.

Enjoyed our 5 day family vacation. Kitchen decently equipped to cook and grill. Great location within the old Tan-Tar-A Estates complex. Appreciated the welcome basket and ice cream cones in the freezer.

the rooms where not clean, carpet was dirty all through the house, some of the beds where broken, towels where worn out and it should be more parking since the house sleeps up to 20 people

Bad communication and dirty

This property was not clean. Dead bugs on ground and just overall worn down and dirty. Pans needed cleaned before we could use them. Tried contacting property management twice and never heard back from them. Ok experience but would be hard to recommend any Evolve rental properties to anyone.

Golf trip

Rooms were small. Patio door took 2 men to open. Hot tub was nasty and no one would dare get in. Several shower curtains were moldy. One shower wouldn’t drain.

We were not at house much. Check in direction gave you a code for gate that didnt work. Didnt guve direction for alternate access for home. Did not answer or return any phone calls

It works, but needs some love

I’ll start by saying the host, Jason, was responsive any time we needed anything. We had a hot water heater go out and he replaced it immediately, which was very much appreciated. The house had space for all of our needs but it is in desperate need of updating. Our toilet paper holder and curtain rod was falling out of the wall and the internet wires were just haphazardly hanging down from the shelves. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months and all of the shower curtains had mold and mildew on them. Also, our internet went down halfway through the trip and we were never able to get it back on and working. There was also dead bugs everywhere. If you’re needing a space for your large group to just land for the night for a decent price this could be right for you, but don’t expect anything fancy. It’s also important to note that if you are on motorcycles, the parking is not ideal and is quite dangerous on the bikes. This is nothing against the property, just something you cannot tell from the listing.

Dirty and not part of "Margaritaville"

The property was filthy. Dried pee stains on toilets, drip pans from grill overflowing with dead bugs stuck in it, kitchen trash can had at least an inch of dried old liquid stuck to the bottom which caused dozens of gnats and smelled horrendous. They also misrepresented the property and we are unable to use the amenities at Margaritaville. So no pools, shuttles, etc. It was really a let down altogether expecially for the price we paid. At the high price I paid, I expect a clean house.

We understand that the maintenance rep immediately came to the property to clean the grill after you reached out, and they would have been happy to address any other cleanliness concerns if you had let them know! The homeowner had not been informed that the resort's amenities would not be available over the holiday, and they apologize for the inconvenience this caused. They hope that the measures they took to compensate you made up for some of your disappointment. The owner has clarified the availability of the amenities with the resort, and we are confident that they will continue to provide excellent stays for their upcoming guests at this vacation home! Rocky Start, but OK Overall

When we arrived there was no running water. We called our contact, Jason, who walked us through turning the water and hot water heater back on. Had to let the water run for a while to get rid of the bad smell/taste. Also, the bowls of all the toilets were scummed over and there were dead mosquitoes littering the sinks, bathtubs and floors. It was obvious the property had sat empty for some time. Had to buy purchase supplies and clean before being able to use bathrooms. On the plus side, Jason responded promptly. The bedroom linens and bathrooms towels were clean. There was plenty of room for our extended family of nine. We enjoyed the remainder of our stay. I have to say, though, when you are charged a substantial cleaning fee, you would expect the property to be clean when you arrive.

350.00 cleaning fee? For What!

The property was dirty, the bed spreads were white with stains on them. The kitchen was quite dirty and was missing most of the glassware listed. We had to purchase drink glasses! Several pans had food burned black inside and were unusable. The deck furniture was completely worn out and dirty, along with sagging beds and stains everywhere! The windows were dirty and unsecured the view. There were many burned out light bulbs and door knows falling off. The front walkway was sagging and caused a 3 inch ledge which caused us to trip in the dark. In conclusion, this property has a good view and location but it is in POOR condition. I would NOT recommend that you stay there!

Not what I anticipated

The pictures of the place are obviously from when the place was new. The carpet was filthy. The beds sucked, they were completely broke down and you sank in the middle of the beds. When I was looking into the place it read as if there was all these accommodations/activities that could be done, like indoor waterpark, horseback riding and outdoor pool. The only thing that was available was the outdoor pool. The hot tub was cloudy. It was very difficult to find your way around the resort as the map they gave us had no street names on it and we had no idea where we were going.

Great location

The location worked great for us as it was close to the field where our kids were competing at for AIM Nationals. Size of the house was perfect with multiple families. The cleaning service did not do a good job before we arrived. My level of clean is obviously different from theirs. The bathrooms especially were not cleaned very well. The carpet needs a major cleaning or to be replaced. The kitchen worked fine but the faucet needs to be replaced and so do the pots and pans. Most of the dishes and pans we chose to use the first few days had to be washed before we could use them. Overall we were happy with our stay but cleanliness was an issue.

Relaxing Relaxing Loved It

What a great experience! My family had an absolutely fantastic time. Comfortable beds with cold AC! And we could put the kids on the bottom level to keep the sound down. :-) The hot tub is also a nice touch and provides a great scenic overview of the lake. We will definitely book here again.

I was highly impressed with how kept and clean the location was. When you walked in you sisnt feel like you walked Into a rental place but more like into a home away from home. Everything was as expected and the view was spectacular and very peaceful, we will be staying again soon.
