Esta es una casa de lago de 4 dormitorios justo enfrente del lago Schroon. A poca distancia de la ciudad y la playa. El lanzamiento del barco está a solo 3 minutos. Sólo 1/2 hora de la montaña Gore y 45 minutos de Lake Placid. Gran lugar para motos de nieve. Senderos del estado están justo detrás de la casa. Ideal para pescar o simplemente colgar en la playa. Hay muchos lugares para ir de excursiones de un día. Incendio en el patio para reuniones nocturnas y un gran porche delantero para relajarse y leer un buen libro.

We have been staying here for years, and it’s a great place with plenty of space, comfortable living room and dining room, great fire pit and seating outside, and of course nothing better than a morning coffee on the front porch with the lake shimmering in the sun across the street. Walkable to town/bars/restaurants, the Lodge, or a very quick drive to town. Always a good time!

The property was a little dated on the outside, but rustic and homey on the inside. I had two concerns. We tried to use the double oven the first night and the oven kept shutting itself off. Made it very tough to cook stuffed shells. The other concern was that several windows had torn screens. Since the weather was relatively warm, we wanted the windows open. They had a nice firepit in the back, we enjoyed that. It was centrally located, and had several restaurant options. Most of the area was in walking distance.

We’re at a group of seven motorcycle riders. It was a perfect place for us to stay. Plenty of room in the driveway to turn the bikes around and the lot was flat in level. Would definitely return again.

Clean, Comfortable, but Needs Some Updates

We had a pleasant stay at this vacation home. It was clean and the host was very communicative and responsive to our questions. That said, the house itself is dated and could use some basic maintenance. A few minor things could be addressed, like some aging furniture and addressing minor wear and tear, but didn’t significantly impact our stay. One suggestion for improvement would be updating the TV monitor, as the current one is quite small for the size of the living room. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for a clean, affordable place. With some attention to these updates, it could easily offer an even better experience. FYI, the vacation home is booked as a “Lake House,” but it is not on the lake.

Loved this house!

My brothers vacation home in Paradox was the location of his daughters wedding. So I had to find another place to stay. This house is perfect! The pictures don’t do it justice. We had 5 adults and we weren’t bumping into each other. The front porch was great for my morning tea and night time relaxing. It has everything you need. Close to everything. Thank you! It was a perfect weekend!

Great Location and Coziness in Schroon Lake

Arrived to a very clean and darling cottage only minutes from Schroon Lake and the water. Judy, the owner, was quick with communication we would happily stay there again and are very grateful for this experience! nearwas great with communication

Perfect house for lake days

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. I love the “older” feel of this home. It is less than 5 mins to the public beach. Everything seem to work great and the fire pit is a super cute feature. The listing does state paper products (toilet paper/ paper towels) are included with the stay but unfortunately we didn’t seem to have any paper towels or enough toilet paper so I would just plan on bringing a few rolls of your our. We all had our own space and it was big enough for everyone to enjoy. I definitely would stay again.

Very clean and well kept

We use the house to stay for a weeklong fishing trips. It’s very convenient and it’s location to get the several of our favorite spots. We will be back next year.

Schoon Lake house

this was a comfortable home-perfect for a large family and friend gathering with large cozy couches, porch swing and a large dining room table. It was clean! My only complaint was that there was just barely enough toilet paper

Great space

Overall had a great stay! My husband and I visited with my parents and we have more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed for preparing meals. The location was very walkable to town and convenient to everywhere we wanted to be. Pictures acfuratwly represent the property. The porch and yard were a nice perk! One comment for anyone who might be wlderly or disabled-- the shower/tub is on the narrow/small side. It was fine for us, but my dad is have a somewhat difficult time with that aspect. Not really a negative, but might be important to be aware of for accessibility purposes. Happy with our stay and recommend to anyone visiting the area.
