Impresionante y espaciosa villa de 3 dormitorios, piscina propia, mucama, 3 minutos a pie de playa.

Con una ubicación ideal en la lujosa costa oeste de Barbados, Ridgecot House está cerca de excelentes restaurantes y playas de arena blanca de coral. La villa ha sido decorada con buen gusto con una combinación de muebles indonesios y orientales de madera diseñados para maximizar la vida tropical con techos altos, habitaciones espaciosas y una gran terraza bien ventilada.

Las tres habitaciones tienen aire acondicionado y ventiladores de techo, cada una con baño en suite. Dos habitaciones también tienen vestidores. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king con dosel, el segundo cuenta con una fabulosa cama king tallada a mano, y el tercero tiene dos camas individuales.

La espectacular Gran Sala tiene un aire de gracia colonial con pisos de roble pulido y techos abovedados. Las ventanas francesas se abren a una gran terraza, ideal para cenar al aire libre alrededor de su gran mesa de mármol. Los pasos de la terraza conducen a la piscina de 24 pies y jardines tropicales.

La membresía completa del Royal Pavilion Hotel Beach Club (a solo 3 minutos a pie) se brinda de manera complementaria a todos los huéspedes de Ridgecot. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa. It was spotlessly clean and very well furnished. The pool was a definite bonus! The villa is located right next to bus stops with a quick and very cheap bus ride into Holetown and along the coast. We also had the use of the beach club at the hotel opposite the villa, which was really appreciated, as it located on a lovely beachThe owner was brilliant to deal with. Answered any queries immediately and was very accommodating in letting us check out late on our last day. I highly recommend this villa, and if we ever go back to Barbados, I will definitely be looking to book it.

Fabulous stay

Our stay at the Ridgecot was simply wonderful. The property is accurately represented and very comfortable and clean. The beach club membership was wonderful and there are many restaurant options nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our maiden voyage to Barbados and hope to return!

Everything about the stay was outstanding. Juliette was waiting to greet us even as we were delayed from the airport, showed us the property features, and did a great job all week keeping the house looking great. The welcome basket was a very nice touch as it allowed us to not stress about food or provisions for a day after arrival. Kevin keeps the grounds looking immaculate. Shanette checked in on us midweek to make sure all was going well and gave us some good local tips. The privacy of the pool was a nice environment for the times we didn’t want to go to the beach. And the beach and facilities access through the Fairmont resort made it extremely easy for enjoying a great beach and good restaurants (especially sunsets). We couldn’t have asked for a better house to stay in while enjoying Barbados…the location was great for heading to Holetown and its shops and restaurants. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Great location and lots to do!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Porters. The close proximity to the beach was a draw, but with the intermittent showers that were experienced the property pool was an excellent alternative. It provided all that we needed to manage the rain drops.

Tropical Tranquility

Our family of 6 spent Xmas and New Year’s at Ridgecot House and had a fantastic stay. The hosts were kind enough to help us get groceries delivered before the shops shut for the holidays. The Villa is roomy and elegantly decorated, the landscaping is lovely with a great covered outdoor terrace where we had most of our meals. The pool area gets lots of sun and is very relaxing. Truly 10 out of 10

2024 Barbados Trip

This was the second time staying at Ridgecot House in the last 11 years and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed the tropical landscape, overall house condition and fantastic location.

The property was beautiful. So relaxing and private. Nikki and Kevin were nice people and kept the house and grounds top notch. The beach and Holetown were great and there was a lot to do.

The house is great. Plenty of space. Feels private. Location is perfect for beach + Ju Ju’s / Lonestar. Bus stops right outside. Would definitely book again.

The villa was just as I expected from reading the description before booking and previous reviews. There is a lot on offer for a reasonable price and I would definitely book again (already checked for next year but someone’s beating me to it).

Wonderful Villa

Ridgecote house is a wonderful villa in a very good location, it's close to Holetown where there are many places to eat and it's only a short walk to the beach. The villa itself is in very good condition, Esther the housekeeper keeps it spotless, she is just a star she made us all feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this villa to family & friends. If you are looking for somewhere to have a good evening meal then I can highly recommend - Tides, The Beach House & Cin Cin's.

Ridgecot House June 2023

A superb property well cared for and in excellent internal condition, set in well cared for grounds. Stunning location just a short walk from the beach, Lone Star and, although some distance, manageable to Holetown as well. Housekeeper is brilliant and keeps the house spotless but does so with a smile. Pool at rear is perfect for the house size and is quiet which we loved, untroubled by racing children or noisy neighbours.

Wonderful

This trip was everything that we expected and hoped for. The villa was stunning, Esther is lovely and was very helpful throughout our stay, We visited Lone Star which was a lovely dining experience. The people we met at the Beach Club were lovely and very welcoming. We recommend you try Ted''s Tours, a relaxed and informative tour of the island with plenty of rum punch en route. We can't wait to get back again. Thank you

Fabulous Stay

Had an excellent stay at Ridgecot House, Communication from the owners was excellent, the property is ideally situated had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. Enjoyable walk along the beach in to Holetown. With all its fabulous restaurants. 7 minutes stroll to the Lone Star restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were very friendly and made sure the house was in top top condition throughout our stay. Lazy days were spent by the pool or enjoying a cooling breeze whilst sat on the covered terrace enjoying morning coffee and of course evening cocktails. Will definitely return

Fabulous

A lovely well kept property. Walking distance to the beach club where you can use the sun beds at the Fairmont. Ideally need a car to make the most of your stay on the island. Holetown is a 20-25 minute walk and part of the walk there are no footpaths. Kevin the gardener and Nikki the housekeeper are both lovely and friendly and go about their work in happy friendly way. I would certainly recommend Ridgecot House.

Barbados escape

My wife, 2 year old and mother-in-law stayed at Ridgecot House recently and had a wonderful stay. The home is large, modern and very conducive to relaxation. The pool and grounds were great. The home is well managed and maintained and we felt well taken care of and pampered by regular housekeeping and concierge type assistance. It’s very close to the beach with use of the facilities at the Fairmont across the street and very close to Holetown where we did our grocery shopping. The only issue that arose was some confusion as to where beach club members are allowed to occupy chairs/umbrellas and swim vs the hotel guests.

What a beautiful villa!

We have just returned from a truly amazing holiday at Ridgecot House. We (2 adults and 4 older teens) were in quarantine for the first week, but it wasn't a hardship at all as the villa has so much space and a gorgeous little pool, and Yonette kindly arranged for our shopping to be delivered. The kitchen has everything you need, and al fresco dining with the birds and the tree frogs was very special. The villa itself has 3 beautiful en-suite bedrooms and a huge vaulted living room - a real wow factor. The location is great and the use of the Royal Pavilion Beach Club was a super bonus. We hired a car, but also used the reggae buses which passed by and were great fun. Esther, the housekeeper, looked after us wonderfully. Thank you so much, we would LOVE to return one day.

A perfect place to stay!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. The property owner provided a fantastic contact to arrange airport pick up and drop off and everything went smoothly. The property manager was always accessible if we had any questions. The house is spacious and perfectly located across the street from a wonderful resort and the beach. Guest access to the resort and amenities were provided with the property rental (thank you!) and we enjoyed relaxing at the resort almost every day. The house was very well maintained and cleaning service provided by the housekeeper much appreciated. There are several great places to eat within walking distance and transportation when a taxi was needed was a breeze. My friends and I stayed for a week and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy all Barbados has to offer. This property is definitely a place I would like to stay during my next visit!

Lovely property in a great location

First impressions were excellent and continued throughout our stay. House and gardens were immaculately presented and everything had been thought of to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Difficult to find anything negative, I guess the pool is fairly small if you intend to use it for exercise (we didn’t), otherwise the garden/pool space is beautiful and we spent many hours in the outside covered area. Nikki the housekeeper was excellent and she kept the place spotless. We had a few problems with air conditioning in the last 48 hours which was just unfortunate and can’t blame anyone. Certainly wouldn’t put us off returning. If you want a great house in the perfect location for the West coast then don’t hesitate to book this, you won’t be disappointed.

A wonderful Holiday

Ridgecot House exceeded all our expctations and made it a wonderful holiday that I would strongly reccomend and we cannot wait to return. Even before our holiday began Tina could not have been more helpful in providing tips and assistance to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house is perfectly located for a number of excellent restuarants with our local favourites LoneStar and Ju Ju's beach bar for the relaxed setting and amazing sunset. My family was looked after very well by Esther during our stay and made us feel at home. I would also reccomend 'The Cliff' for the experience and our childrens favourite was Tides. Although we didn't do many day trips, the catamaran trip with 'Jammin' which involved swiiming with Turtles was something we would all like to do again. Although a car is not necessary we would perhaps hire one next time simply to see more of this beautiful Island. The 'Reggae' buses as named by our two young children are fantastic and poles apart from buses in the UK. A wonderfull holiday had by all

Fantastic property in a gorgeous location

This is a special place. The property itself is really excellent - it looks amazing, has plenty of room, with great facilities and the wonderful Esther who takes good care of you. It is an ideal home from home, and a luxurious base from which to explore this beautiful and varied island. The pool and sun loungers are perfect if you don't fancy the beach today. And what a stunning beach! Walk across the road and through the grounds of the Fairmont Royal Pavilion and enjoy a quintessential Caribbean beach - palm trees, fine white sand and stunning blue water. Add in the beach club and bar and you could spend the day here. Good food, excellent rum punch, and great service from Kerry, Sherlock and the team, who are very friendly. I can recommend the 'Big Mabel' ride behind the speedboat, and you must, must swim with the turtles - it is amazing! We ate at various places locally, and in Holetown and Speightstown, and never had a bad meal - invariably the blackened catch of the day was delicious. It is well worth hiring a car for a couple of days - Barbara, the managing agent in Barbados arranged for ours to be dropped off and collected at the house. This will allow you to discover how varied the landscape on the island is - the rugged east coast is such a contrast from the calm west coast on which Ridgecot House is located, and Animal Flower cave on the very north of the island was spectacular. I would also recommend a trip to Hunte's Garden in the middle of the island, which is stunning. Tina, the owner, was very helpful prior to our visit, giving us some great tips and promptly answering our questions. We have been home for a week and are already planning our next visit.
