Esta maravillosa casa de 4 dormitorios se encuentra dentro de la exclusiva comunidad cerrada de Sugar Hill en St. James en la costa oeste de Barbados.

La casa tiene hermosas vistas desde el balcón hasta el mar Caribe, que está a un corto trayecto en coche.

Gorgeous property, plenty of space, well equipped, super tidy and clean. The listing accurately reflects the property. Really useful plunge pool to sit in and cool down. The estate the property is on is immaculate, and there were always staff around so felt very safe. Easy to drive from this location to explore the island. A few minutes drive to the beach club, which made getting to the beach and spend time there super easy. I would say there is nothing within walking distance off the estate, but the on-site restaurant was excellent and really useful to walk there somedays for a meal. Would happily stay here again.

Absolutely lovely! The views were amazing. Hearing the doves cooing just after dawn was really memorable. Mary was great and made herself available to us for all our needs. Barbara was helpful and informative. It was hard to leave!

Beautiful property located in an amazing development. Worldclass housekeeper (Mary), excellent nearby restaurant The Deck and two pools and tennis courts to keep you busy! Access to the Fairmont private beach is definitely a big plus. Location is ideal to reach all parts of the island (you have to have a car), supermarket and many beaches and seafront restaurants at only a 5’ drive. Communication with the owner Paul has been impeccable. We would definitely consider coming back!

The perfect spot and the view is priceless!

We came to Barbados to move my daughter into Ross Medical School. We had never been to Barbados and everyone at Summer Hill was amazing. The home was perfect. My father an avid nature photographer got 1200 pictures. Over 20 different species of birds. Most mornings we would see the monkeys playing in the trees in the back yard. Our last day there we saw at least 15 monkeys making their way from the back yard to the front yard. The home was fully stocked with anything we could have possibly needed. We were able to preorder food for our arrival and Mary the housekeeper was sweet and kind, she did a wonderful job each and every day. Our stay truly felt like home.

Daughter’s Wedding

The perfect stay in Barbados

My fiance and I, along with 5 other friends booked this villa as accomodation for a visit to Barbados to attend a wedding. This was our first time staying in Sugar Hill and we were very impressed. The villa was extremely well maintained, clean and spacious. It exceeded all of our expectations and made our stay in Barbados very comfortable. Some highlights of our stay included: - the decor of the villa including the artwork gave a very homey feeling - access to the tennis courts, the fitness center and other amenities in sugar hill - daily housekeeping of the villa - the private plunge pool - amazing view from the villa patio - close proximity to the hotspots on the west coast of Barbados - incredible hospitality from the owners, the villa manager, the housekeeper and all sugar hill staff Our stay felt like a home away from home, and we hope to return in the not too distant future.

Lovely stay

It was perfect in every way. The communication we had with Paul (the owner) before we went away and during our stay was excellent. Paul was very helpful over answering our questions and helping us with our grocery pre-order. The villa was very well equipped and spacious and Mary, the housekeeper, was a gem. She was very friendly and worked very hard to ensure that we had a lovely holiday. The location was perfect and we all enjoyed the facilities of Sugar Hill and being members of the wonderful Fairmont Hotel Beach Club. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday and hope to be back one day.

Beautiful home in a lovely setting

This is a beautiful home, in a wonderful setting, with great facilities. The housekeeper, Mary, was lovely. The house is very well-appointed and everything worked perfectly. Amazing views of the lush landscape and the sea beyond - especially at sunset. The owners were very easy to communicate with and not only helped us out when our other booking got cancelled at the last minute, but also arranged for us to have a late check-out, which made a huge difference to the end of our stay. We would love to return.

Just loved our stay

We couldnt have asked for anything more: such a beautiful home, in a great area close to shopping, restaurants, the beach and some terrific restaurants. Animal Flower Cave and Bathsheba, and the animal wild reserve to see the monkeys were all terrific stops. Our favorite restaraunt on the water was the Lonestar.. I already miss being on the island and hope to get back

summerhouse is awesome

I have stayed at several places at Sugarhill and this place was the best. Everything worked well, the showers and water pressure were excellent, all the kitchen equipment we needed for 8 people was there, we had daily house cleaning, they had a propane bbq (a rarity at sugarhill as far as i can tell), the refrigerator ice maker worked perfectly, the property manager was available and very good.

Fabulous villa

Such a lovely villa that had everything you could need, the rooms aircon and pool were amazing. Mary was so helpful and nice to come home to a clean villa every day. The main swimming pool was beautiful and to be able to use the facilities at the Fairmont was a pleasure. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony.

Special place at Sugar Hill

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house was immaculate, well equipped and perfect for two families with two teens. Views were incredible. Plunge pool was perfect spot after day at beach or at the Infinity Pool. Beach club is a bonus. Entire team from front desk to restaurant staff and Tessa our housekeeper were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend a stay!

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful time at Summer House! From the very beginning of the reservation process until the end, everything was exceptional. The house is in a perfect location and has everything necessary to make your stay lovely. Mary was so kind and helpful too. We will certainly come again.

Lovely property & resort

Had a fabulous time at Summer House.The house was even better in person.The main reception had a restaurant, gym facilities & massive pool with a beautiful sea view especially in the sunshine.You need transport because the taxis will charge more as the area is more affluent, so we arranged car hire during our stay.It is a 30 mins walk to Holetown where banks,shops,restaurants, bars are etc.Mary the house keeper was a delight.All the mod cons in the house ( pool & barbecue in the garden came in handy)and property manager was at hand to deal with any queries. The resort was safe and secure and staff on site were very friendly.

My stay in Barbados

I never met the manager while I was there So there was no hospitality team available to us. the mattresses are really bad and the cottage was really dusty. Barbados is really beautiful I would rather pay more and get more service.

Perfect family vacation!

We were all thrilled to stay in this beautiful villa! Paul answered all of our 100 😂questions by email promptly and accurately before we arrived. It was a perfect setup for 4 couples and Mary, the housekeeper, was absolutely the best!The villa is light and airy and is decorated beautifully. It is set in an amazing community with a lovely pool and restaurant, Carizma on the Hill, within walking distance. A rental car is necessary to get to the beach, but a nice setup with chairs and food/beverage service once there! Loved walking in the morning to see the monkeys which were amazing. A real tropical paradise!

Fantastic house

A beautiful house and an ideal location close to restaurants and the beach . Mary the housekeeper was very friendly and effficient. Paul also made the booking process very easy and he was quick to respond to any questions that I had . We will definitely return to the property and would recommend it ! Beautiful Villa, lovely holiday

Summerhouse is a beautiful villa, it’s nicely located on the Sugar hill estate, and is very spacious and comfortable. It’s well appointed, and Mary the house keeper is excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa very highly.

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful time at the Summer House. Paul was so helpful during the planning process, quick to respond and very accommodating. We were so pleased with Cynthia checking on us throughout our stay. Mary kept the home very clean and laundry service was so helpful! She was always so kind to us and our two little ones. The house is just as described. The plunge pool kept our kids entertained until we were ready to go to one of the two large pools on the property. Sugar Hill is a wonderful community. Highly recommend a car if you do not want to call taxis all the time. We tried walking to the beach but with the heat and stroller we opted to taxi back. The fairmont beach access that comes with the House was so nice. There is a delicious restaurant that will deliver to the property Zaccios. For dining at Sugar Hill, check restaurants hours, we came back one afternoon only to realize they don’t serve lunch that day. Highly recommend stopping at Limegrove Lifestyle Center in Holetown, nice food options, a bar with 2 for 1 drinks during happy hour, and a variety of stores. A few notes, that did not stop us from loving our experience. The bedrooms did have air conditioning and fans but being August the common areas did not and could get warm when their wasn’t a breeze and the ceiling fans weren’t enough. Most restaurants in Barbados aren’t air conditioned but you get used to it. TVs would have been nice in the bedrooms to entertain the kids but completely get most people come to the Caribbean to unplug. The Summer House was plenty of space for our family (4 adults and 2 kids). The cottage is cute and right next door but we did not use it. Having a full bath in each bedroom was very convenient. The rooms were nice and spacious. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, cups, plates, etc you could need. The grocery store is close by in Holetown so you can stock up. We are a family of 8 and used the villa and cottage, everything was absolutely fantastic about our stay, what a lovely accommodation and facilities at hand, hence our 5 star ratings. Also Mary the housekeeper made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our wonderful stay. PERFECT
