Loved the location, beds were not the greatest. Plenty of beach towels and bath towels. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for a week, and 1/3 roll of paper towels. Add another bath type rug for in front of sink area in bathroom along with the one in shower area.

Location was perfect! But some of the sliding doors were not working properly… and a small item but the toaster didn’t work at all!! And the AC unit worked but would never go off unless you completely turned it off… but it kept the unit cooled thank goodness! And that’s what matters.

7/10-7/17- it was sufficient for our needs. The front door didn’t close by itself all the way but it was fine. The bar stools wouldn’t stay locked in one position but it wasn’t a big deal.Overall we had a pleasant stay especially since the beach, shops and bus stops were so close.Thank you

The property is right near the beach. Clean building and safe. The only thing is it’s right in the heart of Waikiki so it’s very noise.

The apartment is in poor condition, with worn furniture, cockroaches everywhere, a bad mattress, unpleasant odors in the kitchen and bathroom, and dirty and stained towels. The pool and jacuzzi are closed and under repair. I do not recommend it, do not rent here.

Great location

Waikiki Banyan is located a few blocks from Waikiki Beach. You can watch the surfing from the balcony. The beds are comfortable and the apartment is spacious enough for a family of 4. Parking is busy but didn’t have an issue finding a spot and parking attendants are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location! Wonderful memories!

We (a family of four) loved our 5-night stay at this wonderful property. The location had very convenient and easy access to Waikiki and the shops. The place was clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities both inside the place and inside the complex. Check in was super easy and the host was very organized and always available for any questions. We’d love to go back!

As always great stay!!

As usual our visit to Hawaii is amazing. The view was as usual great. Close to beach. Close to trolley to go to ala Moana mall. Shopping. Clean place. Only need big tv and fix remotes. But over all was awesome. :) thank you!!!

Great location

This place is not fancy, but it served us well as a launch pad for enjoying Waikiki and Oahu. The parking on site is an excellent benefit that saves us tons of time and money. The furniture is a little rickety and the track for the sliding door is a trip hazard. Other than that, it's great. Close to the elevator but we never heard any hallway noise.

Review

The size of the aprtment was good. We didnt like the rail on the floor. The matreses and bed sheets were no god. You should have 2 doble bed size. Perfect location. Great parking, and all apliances work fine. Should chang the shower head. Overall 8.5 out of 10

Great Property

The location, amenities, and views were all great. My kids loved the roof top pool and playground and we used the roof top bbq's a few times during our stay. We would stay here again in the future. The only thing I would change or be cautious of, is there is no deadbolt on the inside of the door with an easy handle for small toddlers to escape (we just blocked the door with our stroller). The wifi is also spotty (if this is important to you) but from speaking with others it sounds like a building issue not unit issue. The coffee shop in the building has free wifi which works fine.

Loved the location. Apt tired and in need of update.

Location and views fantastic. Orientation of apt a touch noisey. Apt tired and fixtures in need of update eg. no toilet paper holder and kitchen basic. Beds uncomfortable and too soft. Floor rail for room dividers/ pocket door a walking hazard with protruding nail. Extra towels provided which was handy/ appreciated

Nice location

Great location to the best part of Waikiki beach, soft sand no rocks. Property was clean but a bit tired. In need of new chairs, stools. Doors between LR and BR would not work, fell off track, looked like it hasn’t worked in years, so couldn’t do separate tv watching. Bathroom needs repair under towel rack. All the chrome is tarnishing from salt in the air, they need regular waxing not just cleaning to help prevent tarnishing. Beach chairs are old but better than nothing. Very noisy from traffic, louvered windows don’t block the sound. The building had several fire alarms with notice to vacate through speakers in the unit, by using stairway only and if handicapped, which I am, to use handicap procedure which I couldn’t find and called the hotel, they couldn’t find it either!

Dream Vacation

Condo and view were just like they appeared in the photos. Everything was clean and wel-stocked. Building was well-maintained and secure. The only problem we encountered was when trying to get quarters for the laundry, the front desk was not accommodating. The walk to the beach was easy and we walked down there almost every day to shop, eat, go to the beach and just enjoy the atmosphere. Parking was tight (we had rented a mini-van), but we were always able to find a spot and realize this was a big savings since parking in Honolulu is expensive. The mini mart store on sight was well-stocked and staff was friendly for minor purchases. Storarge for clothes was good and there were plenty of towels available. The unit was well equipped for us to cook in a couple of nights. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. We had family staying in the area who visit often and they came over to see the unit and agreed it was a very good deal. Definitely would consider this building and unit again.

Location great, management not so much.

Check in was smooth. I wish door could be programmed to something besides last 4 of phone number. There is not a deadbolt like the listing says, the door just closes and locks from the outside like a hotel with no way to secure from inside. We were missing linens for the pull out bed and messaged property manager on Monday through VRBO app. They immediately apologized for the inconvenience and asked if they had permission to enter and drop them by if we were not there. We said yes. They then messaged again saying the cleaners said there were linens in the closet and asked if we checked. I told them we did and all we had was a fitted sheet. I never received another msg from them after that. I proceeded to msg the next 2 days as we were using a fitted sheet as a blanket so our kids could have sheets on their bed. I finally called the number in the front door and got a very rushed person who I’m not sure even works for the property management company. They also said they should be in the closet and I told them they weren’t. They dropped some by later that night.I wouldn’t expect the condo to look like the pictures or be accurate to the listing. The beds are not new, they have major dips in the middle. The couch was filthy and missing cushions. This place overall functioned since we are easy but I wouldn’t recommend it. I would ask the owner to check with the management company. They are not doing a great job and if it were my property I would want to know.

It’s a nice apartment to stay if you have young kids. The lounge folds out to make extra sleeping room. Easy walk to the beach and there’s free parking if you hire a car

Wonderful Stay In Waikiki

We had an amazing time at this VRBO!! We had a group of 5 people and stayed for 5 nights. It was an amazing time in Waikiki! This condo/apartment was perfect for our needs! It was really clean and came with a huge list of information to cater to our trip. Would highly recommend this VRBO again!!

Great location!!

The Apt was clean and had space for my family and not feel like we we're on top of each other. Loved the fact that we also had a parking permit. We didn't get to enjoy the pool as they were being cleaned and checked on. The building is in a great location. Its a block away from the beach. Super easy to walk to and other shops. Totally recommend this apt and my communication with Mark was also great. He have me clear instructions on how to check in without going to the front desk. We will be booking again when we get a chance. The Fuentes Family

Great place that is close to everything Waikiki!

Everything was smooth from check in to check out. Well stocked condo with extra towels bedding and kitchen things. Nice view from the balcony and Ice cold AC inside the unit. The beach chairs and cooler came in handy everyday! A few things that could have been better. The privacy door was broken upon arrival, there was 2 power outlets in the bedroom but one had a electrical prong stuck inside (didn’t seem safe especially with a 4 year old running around) there was a switch in the bedroom that didn’t operate anything. I assume it was connected to the outlet with a broken prong sticking out. None the less, it was a great condo that met our every need on our vacation. The owner was responsive to our messages and even let us check out an hour late upon our request. Thank you for the stay! I’d recommend you book this place before it’s gone!

There was a wooden divider in the room Hazardous!!

there was a wooden divider to divide the room on the floor the whole trip we tripped over that divider and stubbed our toes and hurt ourselves last night at 1 AM my daughter got up to go to the bathroom and tripped over to the divider stubbed her toe and peeled back the skin it was bleeding for a long time we feel like this needs to be resolved for feature guest. She has 2 toes hurt 1 is black and blue one is cut. this will effect the rest of our 10 day trip

Great Location and and Easy Access to the beach

Our overall experience was great. The condo has a partial view of the beach which is enough to enjoy while sitting on the balcony sipping on coffee in the morning or just a short walk to a local coffee shop. I enjoyed my stay more than a hotel due to the kitchen amenities. Parking is a bit of challenge but seems to be the norm. I would rent out again.
