Great location! This property is on the 16th floor accessible from 4 elevators, so no long waits to get to and from the apartment. Easy parking. Walkable to everything in Waikiki, two blocks off the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast. Beds were very comfortable, towels and beach chairs were great. We would stay here again!

This was a great spot! Close to the beach, easy check-in/check-out, great parking. We loved being able to explore the area without having to drive everywhere.

I was deciding between this property and another newer, more renovated apartment. I chose this one because the listing clearly stated it had a dishwasher. When I arrived, there was none. I even showed the host agent screenshots of the listing and pictures of the kitchen, yet their response was, to quote, “We know the condo does not have a dishwasher.” If that’s the case, why list it as such? No further effort was made to rectify the issue. On top of that, the toilet area is so cramped that closing the door makes it uncomfortable to use. I do not recommend this property or the unprofessional conduct of its management.

Definitely Stay Here Again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was a very convenient spot to stay in Waikiki and having a car space to park it allowed us to have the flexibility to explore the whole island and have a very comfortable home base to comeback to. We took great use of the beach chairs and boogie boards that the property provided. And having a fridge and kitchen to prepare snacks and meals was super convenient as well. All this at a fraction of the cost of the other hotels around make it a must stay. Hawai’i is a good jumping off point for us when we go to the states to visit family and will certainly be coming back and staying here again!

Cozy and nice place to stay

Nice place in the heart of waikiki

Clean and close to everything you need. The elevators were kind of a pain. Pool area definitely needs some work but we didn’t really use it because the beach is such a short distance away.

Nicely renovated in an excellent location

This was our 5th stay at the Waikiki Banyan. This was by far, the nicest room we have stayed in at this property. It is nicely remodeled and clean. The location is great- walking distance to the beach and food. Parking and the "resort fee" are included in the rental fee. The Waikiki Banyan property can use a little updating itself. The lobby is fine but the hallways could use updated lighting and new paint. We received a noise complaint from the folks in the unit under us which we found very odd. We were not making any noise. I do have a heavy footed 2 year old.. but complaining about a toddler walking around seems petty. I would recommend booking this unit if you are planning on traveling to Oahu and want to stay in Waikiki. Its a nicely renovated place in an excellent location.

A gem in Waikiki

We traveled to Hawaii for the first time with our 3 year old. Our place was clean, kid- friendly and the so convenient with a full kitchen. Will definitely recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this condo while we were dropping our son off at University of Hawaii. It had plenty of space for the 3 of us and free parking! The spots in the lot are tight, but conveniently located. The bathroom has a bidet and a heated seat which was a nice touch. It is conveniently located close to downtown and Waikiki beach. There are 2 Starbucks nearby as well. Upon check in, the provided key code did not work, however, after calling the company, the issue was quickly resolved. The only downside is that when renting through a 3rd party, the hotel itself does not help you since you are not considered one of their clients/customers.
