❋ There is a small hill and SEVERAL stairs to reach the apt, and worth every step as the views are second-to-none, you have to get up to that Epic Ocean Views somehow! hahaha and is a great way to burn extra calories so you can eat more tacos!!! LOL

Great location if you are planning on exploring PV. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Short walk to the Melacon. Room was clean and the pool/deck areas have amazing views. Just a heads up lots of stairs and hills to climb. You’ll get your workout in each day!

I really enjoyed my stay. I’m glad I’m fit because it’s really a haul up that hill. Love the private pool, the view and the other guests. They keep the place immaculate. My only wine is nonstop, yapping dogs, and some of the challenges I had using the Wi-Fi during business meetings. But those were minor in comparison to how awesome it was.

Casa sunset

We stay for 2 months at the Casa Sunset, January and February of 2025. One month in a lower one bedroom unit and then another month in the penthouse studio which offers breath taking views of banderas bay. Also, we were able to whale watch daily from the upper pools decks! Liz is an exceptional host and we throughly enjoyed our stay at this friendly family run resort. Best of all, we are already rebooked for the next season.

Great place with an amazing view of the ocean and the city. Our unit was well equipped for cooking. We enjoyed our stay very much! Make sure you can handle 107 steps up to “Estrella” (our unit). We felt in better physical shape when we left than when we arrived for sure!

Best time ever

Liz and her family are wonderful. The property is immaculate. Great views of the bay. They are on site all the time not absentee owners. Had the best stay in seven years of going to PV. Already booked for next Year. Staying there for 1 month we truly feel they are our PV family.

Beautiful penthouse in the heart of Puerto Vallarta

Our penthouse studio was almost perfect. It was very clean and had all of the amenities we required. The rooftop terrace and infinity pool was just outside the door and the views spectacular. Checking in was easy and the instructions to do so very thorough and straight forward. The only problem was trying to find out how to get network tv channels to work. But we had Netflix so that was not I big problem. Overall very much enjoyed our stay. It is very central and easy walk to grocery stores, restaurants and the Malecon. Thank you Liz. Oh, and I enjoyed my visits with your father Juan.

Stairs & a hill

Definitely not for anyone one with knee issues! We are seniors 76 & 83 Not particularly active, but we managed. just took it slow and easy same with the Hill We would do it again. it’s just 2 blocks up from the church We did panic re getting in as my checkin info was incomplete so keep yelling tillmsome came to our rescue. So be aware, there are two steps when keying in at the door pad . we ate all hemeals except breakfast out, so cannot comment really comment on anti-shortages in the kitchen other than more than two bowls would’ve been nice and some sugar to start with for the coffee had a great stay. Pardon the spelling errors, but doing this on a very small screen and impossible to correct

Great location and wonderful views !

We had a lovely stay at Casa Sunset. It is a short distance to the malecon and many restaurants in the area. We stayed in the Estrella unit which was a studio that worked perfectly for us . Fully equipped kitchen if you chose to eat in and on the lower deck pool level, close to views and lounging areas . Casa Sunset has so many different areas to relax by yourself or places to get to know the others staying there. The views from every deck were amazing and the sunsets every night didn't disappoint ! By the end of your stay you will be used to all the stairs and will be in great shape. Liz was very helpful and quick to respond to any question. Would stay again at Casa Sunset if we go back to Puerto Vallarta.

This is the Place to Book!

This place is amazing! This is hands down one of the best rentals I have stayed at. The view is unbelievable, the premises are well maintained/decorated and the unit was perfect. Liz was so accommodating, fun and such a pleasure. I will definitely stay here again. The Location is perfect as well. So easy to get to Romantic Zone, Gringo Gulch, malecon and of course the beach. There are many wonderful restaurants within a few minutes walk along with art galleries and a grocery store as well. If you are looking for an awesome place to stay you cannot go wrong with this one.

Beautiful, Great location

The property is nicer than the pictures can show! The staff is amazing. Just a couple blocks from the Malecon and a few short blocks from the beach. Great views of the entire bay. Close enough to walk to most everything but far enough from the night life to be able to sleep at night. We can't wait to go back!
