We booked last minute and everything was super easy. Communication was prompt and the instructions were clear. It was the perfect size for us, two adults, one child and our dog. The location was amazing, right on the beach and near many attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. Would recommend if your looking for a simple and relaxing beach trip.

Overall good , beds very comfortable, neat and clean. It’s a little tighter quarters than I expected. Wouldn’t recommend for more than four people, kids included.

Great location!

This place was a sweet little cottage that worked out perfect for 4 of us. We had our dogs too. The location is central to all the shopping, restaurants, ice cream parlors, just a short walk to the water, across from Jockeys Ridge Park/Sand Dunes, walking distance to Nagshead Cafe for awesome breakfast/brunch

Thank you for your feedback. This property owner has a caretaker and we (as the rental agency) reported all matters to that person. We regret the issues you advised us of were not taken care of in the days you were there. We hope you come back and give us another chance at providing you a 5-Star experience.

Convenient Location w/ Drawbacks

Our original rental was canceled three days before we were supposed to come to the Outer Banks. So we are super thankful that we were able to find an affordable, oceanside unit that met all of our basic needs on short notice. However nice this unit was being oceanfront, within walking distance to Jockey Ridge and local to many fine amenities it came with several problems. Fortunately the rental agency was responsive and tended to our every need. First, there was an ant-infestation because one of the rooms wasn’t cleaned well enough. The rental agency tended to it and resolved it swiftly. Second, we loved that the unit had 2 baths, but one of the showers was clogged. The rental agency did tend to it quickly and fixed it. Third, it rained during our stay and we took on a lot of water inside the unit. Thankfully, the rental agency came during the downpour and brought us towels from both the agency and some of the on-call attendant’s personal towel stash, so we could hold back the rain. It helped and it worked. We are grateful for that. Fourth, about five days into our vacation the air conditioning died. Fifth, our last night, the palmetto bugs found their way to the kitchen and our bedroom. We know staying in a ground floor unit at the beach comes with its drawbacks (I.e.: bugs), but after everything else, this was the icing on the cake. We were done and ready to go. All in all, the agency was responsive. We had a nice time on the OBX however, these are some of the thin

The location was great. But if you advertise as a beach property- have beach towels! There were palmetto bugs on our luggage sitting on the beds. The kitchen on day 2 was covered in ants. There was an overwhelming musty smell throughout the rental. On day three they came and replaced a missing blind in one of the bedrooms. Anyone flying in there is nothing provided beyond small hotel soaps, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent.

We regret you did not have a 5-Star experience on your recent stay. We appreciate the feedback and will take corrective action on those items. We also thank you for letting others know we provide a starter supply of items but not an unlimited supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soap and the like. We do provide linens for the house but not beach towels.
