Perfect Couples Get Away Steps from the Boardwalk and Surf

Petronia unit B is a 650 sq. ft. home that offers two bedrooms, one full bath and sleeps 6. Bedroom configurations include one queen bed, and two queen sleeper sofa's all fitted with the finest mattresses available. Tropical inspired décor with fully outfitted kitchen that has stainless appliances, granite counters and tiled backsplash. Bathroom has walk-in tiled shower and dual sinks. Located on the ground floor. Other bonuses include free wireless internet, TVs in each room.

Located on 34th Street in the Virginia Beach Oceanfront District we are a three-minute walk to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment and much more.

The mindset and goal in developing this community was to offer a comfortable tropical beach themed setting with attention to every detail and providing the ultimate in upscale vacation rentals. With 17 homes available, each one has been completely renovated to make your stay welcoming and enjoyable.

Because we have multiple units, the calendar you see will not accurately reflect our availability, so please call or email to see what comparable homes are available. Our staff will be happy to answer whatever questions you may have.

Good stay

Place is good. For 3 people it was perfect any more we would have been too cramped. Need more hooks in bathroom or bedrooms for towels. Unfortunately there was a strong cat odor when we arrived. Overall it was a good stay.

We loved it!

The only thing I would tell the next person is to bring a muffin tin and measuring cups, that’s the only thing that was missing! We couldn’t operate the tv until we got the management involved and after that we only got one channel, but other then that we had a fantastic time! My child turned 14 at your home and they had a ball!!!

Nice place

Check was a bit eventful we got two different addresses but it didn’t make a difference because THERE ARE NO NUMBERS ON THE BUILDINGS. we found our unit by knocking on doors and punching codes in. Thankfully it was daylight. Unit clean and well stocked. Outdoor space was great. Awesome location 4 minute walk to boardwalk. Quiet, Safe neighborhood. Inside of unit freshly redone. Needs maintenance windows cleaned porch cleaned. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Poor cleaning

If you’re not familiar with Virginia Beach, the flightier jets go off all day long. We got what we paid for, but really could use some better cleaning. Saw many cockroaches. We dropped a marble down the couch so we moved the couch to get it. So gross how much dirt and crud was under there. No wonder the cockroaches were there. The community was really nice and the amenities were also great.

Bad Conditions

The house was very small. There was a very bad odor in the house. The kitchen had no table and just 2 high chairs. The living room had only one love seat and one arm chair. The one bedroom had only one queen bed and the other tiny room only one sofa bed. There was a bad yard like a jungle and only one small pool to share with all the other houses that were around there.

Hey Albert you walked through our unit and decided not to stay which I understand. Your description is very simular to what reflects our pictures. I am not sure what you think you were walking into but this is a great place that does not deserve a 1 star because you did not look at pictures nor read our description prior to booking. Thank you.

Terrible - Didn’t even stay 1 night

I'd have to say that we're incredibly disappointed in this place. There is a terrible musty spell. The furniture is old and stained. The pull out couch in the guest room had crumbs all in it and you can't open the door right when the bed is pulled out. None of the tvs work properly and or allow log into Netflix etc. the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Tons of large cockroaches. So upsetting. Dirty drawers were dishes and silverware would be if not all dirty. We didn’t hear back till the next day - we didn’t spend one night it was too much. All we wanted was to relax at the beach and now we're stressed, haven’t heard back about a refund from property or VRBO. Had to toss all our perishables and pay for a hotel.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was dirty, the sheets was damp, there was mold in the shower, there was no where the hang bath towel after a shower and also no where to hang beach towels after beach day, there’s no fan in the bathroom, the grill did not work and the pool was nasty dirty!

Le propriétaire nous a fourni un autre logement rapidement car celui loué présentait un dégât d’eau. Le site est près de la plage. A 2 couples il est plus convenable d’avoir 2 sdb. Il manquait un poêlon fonctionnel ( pas de poignée) il y avait seulement 2 coupes à vin.j’aurais apprécié avoir des linesà vaisselle

Great for small group

One bedroom is really just a room with a pull-out sofa. It is very small. Otherwise, an excellent place to stay. Very clean. one not- very hard to keep floors clean. They should consider leaving a vacuum on site.

easy last minute get away

Reviewer Comments: After airb&b cancelled our reservation 24 hours before we were supposed to leave, we were excited to book this spot with such short notice, but there were a few things we overlooked in the process.The location is great, short walk to the beach, no complaint there. The pool is also very nice too if that's your thing.On the other hand, there was no hose or anything outside to rinse your feet, unless they expect you to use the pool which I don't think is advised. Also there was no floor mat or anything to wipe your feet on when entering the place, so its hard not to track sand everywhere, especially in such a quaint space. Humidity inside is an issue as well. Nothing would dry while we were there which produced an undesired musty smell. It didn't help that there isn't a single hook or towel rack to hang anything to dry. Luckily there's a laundromat right down the road that helped but the jaunt wasn't ideal when on vacation. Weirdly, the kitchen drawers don't have handles on them so if you need silverware you have to pull the bottom drawer out first from underneath and work your way to the top which honestly became kind of comedic with how ridiculous it was. Overall, it was a good spot for being in a pinch and luckily it was just for a long weekend, but henceforth I think it's best to book vacations through an actual agency.
