Esta casa de vacaciones estilo chalet es lo mejor de ambos mundos, ya que se encuentra en un entorno arbolado donde no es raro ver vida salvaje, escuchar un búho o atrapar algunas luciérnagas por la noche mientras se sienta alrededor de la fogata tostando malvaviscos, todo mientras está centralmente ubicado entre las dos mejores playas de Wells. También estamos convenientemente ubicados a minutos de las hermosas playas de Kennebunkport y Kennebunk.
El parque recreativo Walter Marsh se encuentra a 30 segundos en automóvil o 5 minutos a pie, y consta de 70 acres que incluyen senderos naturales, campos de fútbol, campo de softball, hoyos de herradura, área de juegos, canchas de tenis, canchas de baloncesto al aire libre y área de picnic. Los baños públicos están abiertos de mayo a octubre. Las canchas de tenis también están disponibles para su uso de mayo a octubre. Debido a que las canchas de tenis son mantenidas por las tarifas de los usuarios, existe una política para comprar llaves de tenis para el uso de las canchas. ¡Los patines de hielo, las raquetas de nieve y los alquileres de esquí de fondo están disponibles en el invierno!
Esta casa bien mantenida y recientemente actualizada tiene un concepto abierto, cocina completa / sala de estar y baño completo. Hay dos dormitorios con una cama queen size de cedro en cada uno y hay un sofá cama queen size en la sala de estar.
El loft es un lugar divertido para pasar el rato y jugar juegos de mesa y está amueblado con dos futones de troncos de cedro de tamaño queen y dos sillas de futones de troncos de cedro.
Afuera hay un montón de estacionamiento fuera de la carretera, una parrilla y un patio donde puedes relajarte y tostar malvaviscos después de un largo día lleno de diversión.

Charming vacation home

We had a lovely time and the owners are really responsive and nice. it is a little noisy in the morning during the week but we got some lovely quiet time otherwise. Very well furnished, we were very happily surprised.

The property was beautiful. The house was well supplied & was peaceful & quiet. We had issues with the water the entire stay & with electricity at times. Lisa & Nathan were wonderful in trying to rectify the situation even during a holiday weekend. If it weren’t for this issue I would have given overall rating 5 stars. I would recommend staying here.

Cabin in the Maine Woods

We just loved the cabin. Lots of thoughtful little touches to make our stay that much more comfortable and fun. Made great use of the fire pit most evenings. Lisa and Nathan super nice and helpful. Thumbs up👍🏻

Wonderful Stay in Maine

Our family loved our stay in Maine at Nathan and Lisa's cabin. It was clean and had all the conveniences you needed. They were both very helpful with local recommendations and provided a fun surprise for our daughter when we arrived. The use of the outdoor equipment was also helpful for our beach days and the proximity to the summer camp was amazing. We will look forward to another week in Maine next year!

Away from the maddening crowd

What a nice log cabin in the woods! Away from the hustle and bustle but close to the best beaches and nature preserves. Our host mentioned Drake’s Island beach and that is where we spent much of our time when in the Wells area. We enjoyed our time up in Kennebunkport and Portland as well. Our hosts Nathan and Lisa were very accommodating and the cabin is a terrific place to relax, have a cookout, or enjoy the peaceful spot in the woods. We are not the technical type so Lisa helped us with the TV and even gave us her code! Thank you Lisa and Nathan! Great place to stay and not far away for anything. Gil

Great Home in Maine.

Lisa and Nathan are great people. They made us feel right at home and were there if we needed. We didn't really need anything as all linens, cooking utensils, dishes, washer/dryer. were there. Beds were comfortable and the kids loved the loft. Great central location with places to see to the north and south...Highly recommend this place. Charlie Helinger

Private and convenient

Had a great stay at this cozy cabin in Wells. Nice location for hiking(went to Wells Reserve at Laudholm-beautiful), restaurants(Hobbs Harborside lobster), shopping (lots of options not too far north), or just hanging out and relaxing! Definitely recommend for couples, or families with young ones or teenagers. We also went bowling in Kennebunk, and mini-golfing in Wells!

Better than advertised

The house and location were better than what we expected. Very clean and cozy. It’s the perfect spot for anyone wanting to enjoy all of what Ogunquit and Kennebunk have to offer. The hosts were very attentive and thorough. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Lovely stay in a well appointed property with gracious hosts!

The property is as shown in the photos with several amenities including a spacious yard and nice fire pit. The house was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and in the loft. Lisa and Nathan made the check-in process easy and provided helpful information about the surrounding area. So friendly and responsive! Thanks for having us!

Wonderful stay

We had a great week at Lisa and Nathan's cabin. They met us when we arrived and showed us the house. It was perfect for our family of five. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved hanging out in the loft area. The new AC was welcome during the humid days. The kitchen had all that we needed and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the fire pit and lounging in the hammock. It was an easy drive to the beaches and very convenient to the highway. The farm down the street had a great selection of fresh fruits, veggies, and meats. We would definitely stay again!

Great Basecamp location in picturesque log cabin chalet

The pictures do not do it justice. Lisa and Nathan were great hosts. They texted me things to do suggestions, etc and especially enjoyed Bennet's sandwich shop. There was a great outdoor firepit area complete with Adirondack chairs and benches. The location was quiet, only about a 5 minute ride to Route 1 in Wells. We also went to Kennebunk; that was about 10 minutes away. Great place, location, hosts...and s'mores !!!! Don It was a bit humid, but they have central air conditioning : )

Fantastic Wells Rental!

We just spent a wonderful week at this property and highly reccomend it. We travelled with our 2 daughters and my in-laws. It fit the 6 of us comfortably. To find something with a yard and privacy within 10 minutes of the ocean was the best of both worlds. We were able to play games in the yard, sit around the fire and relax in the hammock or on the porch. Shopping in Sanford was convenient as wells as the great farm stand just up the road. The owners were friendly and accomodating and even brought us lights so we could play cornhole at night when they noticed it would improve our stay. We will definitely book again. Thanks for a great stay Lisa & Nathan.

This house is the best of both worlds: we felt like we were deep in the woods of inland Maine, yet we were a 10 minute drive to our favorite beach in Wells. The house is beyond adorable -- spacious and comfortable too -- and the hosts are eager to please. We couldn't have asked for more!

A Forest Getaway

We stayed at this cabin with a total of 5 adults and 1 toddler. The owners are nearby, and very helpful. They had just installed a new AC system, which was very welcome in the heat and humidity. The loft area was perfect for a small family, with lots of space and games provided.

Wonderful piece of Maine

This was an amazing little spot and exactly the kind of place our family was looking for; close to the beaches, nestled in the woods of Maine, and near farms too. The farm store just down the road was amazing and such great quality, while various nearby restaurants each offered incredibly unique menus and experiences. The hosts were absolutely amazing. The property was in immaculate condition when we arrived, with plenty of little touches that we all just adored (I won't spoil it). They were always readily available, and just so kind. We really could not have asked for better hosts or a better experience in any way. My family looks forward to returning someday!

Perfect getaway for nature lovers.

Peaceful forest retreat

Our family of five spent a week at Lisa and Nathan's beautiful home in the woods and left feeling refreshed, energized and grateful for the opportunity and space to slow down. Their home is immaculate, beds are comfortable and the front and back yards are huge and gave our 3 and 5 year olds all the space they could want to run, roam and explore. - [ ] We booked our stay with only two days' notice and in that time, Lisa and Nathan stocked the house with a pack and play and high chair for our baby and books, toys, games, bubbles and buckets for our girls. When we found an item or two that would be helpful around the house, they delivered it promptly and cheerfully. Nathan drove his tractor over to deliver firewood and kindling for the fire pit and our girls were tickled at the s'mores kit that Lisa and Nathan so generously left for us - tucked up high as to not entice our kids at our late arrival on our first night. - [ ] We would absolutely stay again - this home is beautiful and Lisa and Nathan are so friendly and accommodating! We loved the comfortable, beautiful wood interior and the moose theme. The loft was a great spot for my husband to work during the day (wifi was perfect!) and for our girls to play early in the morning and again in the evening. Our girls picked blueberries in the woods and the beach was just a short drive away. Thanks again for such a great week!

We have loved raising our children and living in Wells for the past 15 years. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends at the beautiful beaches and hiking trails, and love a day of antiquing, shopping, sight seeing, golfing, or horse back riding together.

When we purchased this home we knew the location was a great spot for friends and family to vacation together and make life long memories. Being so close to the beautiful beaches, trails and activities at Wells Park and Rec. is wonderful. We also love going to Spillers Farm and UPick right down the road. We know that others will enjoy their time here just as much as we have.

There is so much to do and see in Wells and the surrounding area!
We are centrally located between Wells beach and Drakes Island beach and only minutes to the beautiful Kennebunkport, Kennebunk and Ogunquit beaches.

A beautiful park and trail through the woods by Hobbs Pond is only a 30 second drive or a five minute walk away.
Spillers Farm and UPick is a two minute drive down the road.
Backroad access to beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, antiquing, golfing, movie theater, ice cream, and of course shopping!
The surrounding area also includes, walking, hiking,
horse back riding, kayak and canoeing, fishing, boat tours, sight seeing, and whale watches.
