Escápese a su propio retiro privado en el país en esta hermosa casita de 10 acres en el corazón del Valle. Disfrute del esplendor del paisaje del país y la vecina ranchos de caballos mientras que a pocos minutos de restaurantes, tiendas y bodegas. Estamos a sólo un corto paseo en el centro de Santa Ynez, 3 millas de Los Olivos y 5 millas de Solvang.

Todas las comodidades del hogar lo esperan en esta casita de estilo español con paredes de yeso, techos altos y baldosas de terracota. La casita es completamente privada y separada de la casa principal.
La gran sala cuenta con un gran ventanal con unas vistas espectaculares de la propiedad, una gran chimenea con hogar y numerosas ventanas para disfrutar de los hermosos jardines. Hay un televisor de pantalla plana de 32 ', completo con el' Total Choice Package 'de DirecTV que ofrece una amplia y variada selección de canales. Un reproductor de DVD y un surtido de DVD para todas las edades se facilitan para su placer visual. WiFi de alta velocidad recientemente agregado. Un espacio de trabajo para el trabajo de su computadora hace que mantenerse conectado sea fácil. Disfrute de un libro por el fuego, un juego de cartas o un juego de mesa. This place was perfect for our needs. The property sits on 10 private acres, so it felt incredibly private, quiet, and safe, which we really appreciated. The home is single-level with no stairs, which made it ideal for my elderly parents and little blind dog- that alone makes this place a rare and special find. The house was secluded yet close to great retaurants, solvang,casino, wine tasting. Id like to go back soon.

Wonderful location and cute home. The beds were comfy and the house had everything we needed. It was so nice to be able to walk the dog down the long country driveway and look at the mountains in one direction and the sunset in another. It is also very close to everything yet it feels like an oasis. The hosts are respectful of guests privacy but they were so hospitable and friendly and warm and ensured we had everything we needed. Hope to come back and stay again!

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, private, and surrounded by open space, it really felt like our own little retreat. Even though it’s tucked away and quiet, it was only a short drive to downtown Santa Ynez, wineries, and great places to eat.The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed mornings with coffee outside, taking in the fresh air and the views of the hills around us. It was such a relaxing and calming place to come back to after exploring the area.Check-in was easy, and the hosts were kind and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We left feeling rested and would definitely stay here again.

4th of July Getaway

Love going up to the Santa Ynez/Los Olivos area! Such a relaxing quiet place to go with lots of fun wineries to try when we want to go out and about. This is at least our 3rd time spending the 4th of July holiday up there away from all the loud illegal fireworks in our area that terrify our dogs (they love it up there too!).

Excellent week-long escape over my summer semester break

Exactly as advertised. Especially loved the choice of patios permitting sun-chasing (or avoiding) around the house. Plus, in an exceptionally windy spell we appreciated the ability to find sheltered areas. Wifi worked well, which was essential for my working vacation. As an anthropologist, I loved the new Chumash Museum in the Village only open for a month at the time of our visit. As a foodie, I was a hog in heaven spoiled for choice of fine restaurants, and vineyards, in the vicinity. If you have not been, a visit to the reconstructed historic Mission de la Purisima near Lompoc is a must. The period herb and plant garden there is incredible. The only improvement I would suggest is to re-paint the property number in fresh, larger numbers to make it more visible coming from the south. We, myself, friend Judy and my dog Dulce had a wonderful respite. Thanks to hosts Jeanne and Leo for sharing your ranchette with us and we hope to visit again soon.

This place was clean and beautiful. The host has made the property feel like home including a spice rack and coffee and nice cookware. Very welcoming and perfect location. We will definitely book here first when visiting the area.

Girls weekend!

Visiting Santa Ynez/Los Olivos is something I always look forward to! Our stay here was the icing on the cake! Lovely accommodations, which also included a large, private side patio for morning coffee, afternoon wine & snacks and evening wind down! Jeanne & Leo are incredible hosts! Outstanding stay

We had the best stay. The check in was simple and this place is absolutely beautiful. The home was decorated so beautifully. The beds were super comfortable and the bedding was top notch and that’s coming from a bedding snob. Everything was convenient and we were close to everything we could possibly need.

Perfect casita in the Santa Ynez area!

The casita was perfect. Beautiful decor, comfortable furnishings. Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful property. It was wonderful to wake up to the sun coming over the mountains with the birds singing and the cows and horses surrounding the property. The owners were warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed the homemade bread they left for us as well as the snacks in the kitchen. We loved the beautiful fireplace as well. So relaxing! We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

New Year's Getaway

We had a wonderful stay with our two dogs over the New Year's holiday. Jeanne and Leo were great hosts and were friendly and welcoming. Their property has a great location and everything we needed--it was just about perfect for us (absolutely the ONLY thing that was missing was a fenced in yard for the dogs), but they had plenty of room to run around and the property was well back from the street, so it wasn't an issue. We've already booked a return trip since we enjoy the area so much, and this property really does fit our needs so well. We're already looking forward to being back up there later in the year!

Fantastic Location!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect and quiet for our Christmas get away! The hosts even decorated the casita for Christmas and left us apple cinnamon bread which we found to be very special. The fireplace was a nice touch and we loved having it on for the evenings. Overall, minus the ocassional dust bunnies...the stay was just what we needed.Thank you for having us!:)

Great Family Getaway

This was the perfect place for a quiet stay after a busy holiday. It was our family of 4 and our Goldendoodle. There was plenty of room in the casita and tons of space for our dog to play outside. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The casita is in a great location. It has a full kitchen with everything you would need but it is a quick drive to restaurants, shopping and wine tasting if you feel like going out. Everything was very clean and the hosts were welcoming.

Family trip to Solvang/Santa Ynez

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful casita. My husband, sister, niece, and 2 senior pups throughly enjoyed our stay surrounded by beautiful scenery and comfort. Our host was kind, thoughtful, and very personable. I hope to come up again soon! 10/10 one of my best family trips.

The Santa Ynez Valley is the perfect retreat. A tranquil, gorgeous setting offering many activities and yet just a 30 minute drive to the beautiful city of Santa Barbara. Enjoy wine tasting at the numerous wineries in the area, shopping in the quaint Danish village of Solvang, a stroll through charming Los Olivos with numerous tasting rooms and shops, or dining at wonderful local restaurants. Hiking biking or boating/fishing in Lake Cachuma.
For golfers, the River Course at the Alisal in Solvang is a great public course. Monthly golf packages available.

This is a wonderful combination of privacy and convenience. We are situated on 10 acres, yet we are a very short walking distance from downtown Santa Ynez. A beautiful setting with a detached and very private second residence. Vaulted ceilings add spaciousness and charm and the large fireplace is both sophisticated and cozy. We've furnished it with everything you will need for your stay!
