We stayed here for 5 days. Everything we look for in a stay that long, this home had it. Definitely need a vehicle to get around from this location. Would recommend for a 4-5 person stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this property overlooking the lake. The views are stunning. Peaceful location & short drive to Menaggio. Very clean & good communication from Barrie, Julie & Cinzia. The pool was the icing on the cake.

Best View in Town!

This is a lovely property. The views from the apartment are breathtaking and loved waking up to it! The owners are wonderful and kept in touch with us, making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay stress free. Overall, great experience.

Great location. Wonderful views but neighbor chain-smoked and fumes drifted up to our balcony. Having washing machine was a big plus. Apartment could use a detailed cleaning. We killed spiders, crickets and stink bugs daily. Pool was nice but skimmers were clogged with leaves and making loud noises. Rooms were comfortable. Communication with Barrie was warm and welcoming. Communication with Julie was transactional and, at times, off-putting. Some details need to be added to VRBO listing like 350 cash deposit due at check-in, guest registration required on another website. Representative was 15 mins late the day of checkout. Some issues with thermostat (heat was on when we arrived and had difficulty getting it turned off), info binder needs to be updated (WiFi password).

Our family trip to Lake Como Italy

Our stay in Menaggio was exceptional! A beautiful view of the Lake and mountains from our villa and the pool also had a wonderful view! We loved eating outside under the arbor. We had drinks at night on our deck overlooking the lake. We had something to do everyday from renting a scooter and visiting different towns on the lake and stopping at restaurants and wine bars! We hope to come back one day!!!

Best Lake Como Apartment - breathtaking view

It was a toss up between two houses when i was looking for an apartment at Lake Como, the view won! This house in up hill as opposed to right on the water, hence the view is breathtaking. Although i would recommend that you get a rental car if you want to stay here, i did see people walking up and down, but a car would make your stay here very convenient. The house itself is spotless, three bedrooms, large living room and dining room, two terraces and garden....everything you could possibly ask for to enjoy your lake vacation. Barrie is a great host, easy to connect with when we had questions but left us alone to enjoy when we were all settled. Short drive to downtown Menaggio, where all the restaurants, gelateria, ferry dock, boat rentals are, super convenient. We think Menaggio is a very good base for us to explore lake Como, it's relatively smaller than Bellagio and Varenna, but we like that "live like local" feeling, especially after the last ferry left, it's very very nice. And i have to mention that it's very safe and kids friendly, we traveled with our 5 year old, she had so much fun and the girl at ice-cream shop knew her by name:)) Other than all the villages, a few activities that i'd highly recommend: 1. rent a boat from AC boat rental (right in Menaggio) to drive on the lake, we did it twice because it's that good, priced reasonably 2. if you are golfer, check out the Menaggio golf course on the hills, you could rent all the gears at a reasonable price, we did 9 holes and it was fantastic! We enjoyed our stay so much that we miss it already!

Amazing Stay

The views we simply incredible. Breakfast under the covered patio had a beautiful breeze in the morning. Evenings on the front patio with the most amazing views. Fireworks across the lake and a double rainbow were some of our favorite evenings at the apartment. The morning swim was a great start to the day. We saw a few other guests but never felt we lacked any privacy and normally had the pool to ourselves. The twin beds were a bit too firm and more hand towels would have be helpful but we would love to book another stay here. Hopefully soon. Barrie had great tips on things to do and was easily reachable. We didn't want to leave.

Stunning view from lovely apartment

The apartment is set up above Menaggio, it is a walk of about 25 minutes to reach the town ( and the boats to other towns !) There is a cut through part of the way so you don’t have to walk by the road . The walk is worth it simply because of the view from the apartment- simply stunning. The town of Menaggio is pretty and the ferry takes you to any other places in the lake, loved Bellagio and don’t miss Villa Balbianello. The apartment is large and well cared for , the garage is an extra bonus .

Stunning Location - Beautiful Property - Great Hosts

Barrie and Julie were wonderful hosts and the property couldn't have been any better suited for our friends to celebrate Christmas. Home was well-outfitted with plenty of room to socialize or to enjoy relaxing, quiet time. Great to have dedicated parking garage and just a quick trip down the hill to Mennagio's village center, ferry stop and easy access to other villages along our side of the lake via car.

Stunning views and great service

Menaggio is a very good location as a base camp if you want to enjoy Lake Como for a week. Its central location means everything you want to do/see is easily accessible either by car or by boat. The “Casa paradiso” was the perfect place to stay, providing stunning views from dawn to sunset. Everything else about the house is absolutely fine as well, large and comfortable living room with an open kitchen, 3 bedrooms, garage, etc. but the view is by far the number 1 attraction of the house. Unbeatable! Barrie is incredibly helpful throughout the process providing you with clear and timely advice to make sure you make the most of your stay. I would recommend 100% and would definitely come back next time.

Fabulous holiday

Unbeatable views of the lake - the property is up a big hill so we used our car some days to drive into town. The welcome was second to none - shopping delivered to the property, lots of helpful hints on local restaurants/activities. Stunning location and fabulous holiday! Thank you!

Lovely apartment with amazing view

We stayed for a week at this property and the manager (Barrie) was very welcoming with lots of great advice on where to go to get the best out of the week. The view from the apartment is exactly as the photo's show but so much better in person. The apartment was of good quality with everything provisioned for to either chill out or cook at home. The swimming pool was nearby (and well maintained) and the apartment even came with a spare fridge and garage area to keep a mid size car. There were two restaurants within walking distance (one of them number one on Tripadviser (trattoria la vecchia magnolia) and the main town was either a 5 minute drive or a more industrious 25 minute walk. A great week and Barrie was always on hand to offer advice as required.

Stylish Apartment with million dollar views

My second stay in Menaggio and after the first I was very keen to stay up the hill this time and fully enjoy the breath taking views. The view at Casa Paradiso is simply jaw dropping, I have not seen a better view anywhere. The view has an amazing peacefulness to it that seems to instantly wipe away memories of the daily rat race we came from. Sitting on the balcony on a Friday evening with a bottle of wine, watching fire works and all the activity around the lake was magical. Casa Paradiso is a short but solid walk to town due to it being mostly up or down hill depending on which way you are going. There are some great restaurant’s a very short walk from the apartment. We decided the La Magnolia Trattoria would be our morning coffee stop before our various adventures around the lake. However it soon became our regular for everything once we found out how good the food was. It was only later in the week that we found out it was the number 1 rated restaurant on Trip Adviser. The apartment is huge and very well furnished. Plenty of room just to relax and soak up the atmosphere of a wonderful place. There really is nothing bad I could say, just the perfect place to stay around Lake Como.

The wonderful thing about this apartment is that it just lends itself to chilling out completely. The view of Lake Como from this apartment must rank among the best and the wonderful thing about it is that you can sit and admire it all day if you wish. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner looking at the view, you can even lie in bed at night and look at the view. There is plenty to do on the lake and plenty of places to visit but when the apartment is so comfortable and so well-equipped, from time to time it is so nice just to chill and do nothing. When you do want to go out, however, Barrie has plenty of advice about the best places for the apero, the best places to eat, the best places to buy your wine and your olive oil, it makes everything such a pleasure which is what holidays are all about, and why we return every year.

Beautiful property with stunning views

We stayed at Cass Paradiso st the end of May. It is a really spacious and well kept property with great outdoor spaces. The master bedroom was lovely with its own large terrace with lake view . The upstairs terrace and garden was equally as lovely with the same stunning views that we never got bored of. The property was very well equipped with everything we needed. We hired a car as we wouldn’t be able to walk to the main town down the hill/stairs. The car also enabled us to visit some other nearby towns such as Tremezzo and Bellagio as the property was so central. The owners Barry and Julie were very friendly, helpful and available to answer any questions. Roy who was looking after the property and greeted us on our first day was really knowledgeable about the area and again available for any help we needed. I would certainly stay at this property again.

The best view in all of Lake Como

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Paradiso. The home was lovely and well appointed and the 2 balconies, one off of the master bedroom and one off of the living room, were huge and the views were stunning. Julie and Barrie were exceptional hosts. They bought a list of groceries for us and gave us a lovely bottle of Prosecco. The owners left one as well. Both Julie and Barrie were also very helpful with suggestions on things to do and see and restaurants to go to. The only bad comment I have is that the bed in the master was very uncomfortable for me. Way way too hard. I could not sleep at all. I understand that this was the first bad comment they've had on the beds so perhaps it is just me. I would suggest adding a foam topper to the mattress at least it would add some cushioning. Other than the beds I would highly suggest this home. (also, the location was very good. We had a car so we drove into Menaggio daily and parked at one of the parking lots. I would not see myself walking from the home into town as it's a long winding walk with many blind corners. I read that many people do walk into town.....I'm impressed!!)

Perfect Location and Service!

We (a group of 6) had a perfect stay at the Casa Paradiso in Menaggio. The appartement has multiple stunning views over Lake Como, from the big living room, the great terrace and from the main bedroom. Beautiful style, more than enough room for all of us and it was all very clean. A perfectly equiped kitchen and more than enough space for our 2 cars (which are necessary to check out Menaggio, where we found a lot of nice restaurants and spots). The service cant be better - very friendly and helpful with a lot of great tips to explore the region. 100 % recommendation - we would love to come back.

Here you can also enjoy more majestic views over to Bellagio, hop on the ferry to Varenna to visit authentic wine and cafe bars and superb home made gelateria's to name just a few highlights.
