This property was excellent, from host hospitality to tip top facilities. It’s a 35 minute walk to the nearest beach, which is ok for the fit but the way back is all uphill, so a car is really required especially for going into town. We didn’t have a car, but used the local taxi companies who were great and inexpensive, wait time can vary but was never a real problem.

Excellent villa. We were a party of ten and plenty space for all. Perfect weather so no need for indoor pool and sauna for us this week. Games and gym a bonus. Great size pool and lovely views. Beds extremely comfortable. Fibre 250mb WiFi. Need a car to explore further a field but 10 euro taxi to coast and marina otherwise - always within 15mins for us.

Lovely villa, great pools, lots to do if the weather is not great, however we had amazing weather and enjoyed the pool. There were few issues , but sorted promptly when reported to the manager. Very good contact, quick responses. Villa situated few minutes drive from restaurants, shops and beach, possibly in a walking distance too but not in the hot weather we had.

Great holiday rental for family and friends

Great holiday rental for family with kids and friends. It’s the second time we come and it is just a great house. It’s fully furnished, with a big outdoor pool, a big gas BBQ and great outdoor furniture. It also has an indoor pool, table tennis, table football, gym, 2 big tvs, etc.

Superb Villa and Service

Villa is fantastic! and the service and April and her team was even better, will definitely be staying here again! Located a 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk to Moraira, Air Conditioning everywhere and enough amenities to keep everyone of our family entertained. Couldn't recommend it enough! Thank you for a lovely holiday!

The house really fulfilled our expectations! It is huge and well equipped. A great view and sunrise for those that are up early. Great service even though we were there during Christmas. Only thing that could have been better is the internet connection that varied a lot.

The perfect villa retreat

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this breathtaking villa, and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was something special. The villa itself is beautiful, Spacious, airy, and impeccably clean. One of the highlights is the private pool – crystal clear and inviting, it's perfect for a refreshing dip at any time of the day. Thanks for 10 days of enjoyment!

We all really liked the villa and we will happily book it again. The view is absolutely great, the location is quiet but not far from the center. The facilities are very good, the landlord and staff are absolutely friendly and helpful. Overall, a very nice stay in this great house. There is one more wish: It would be very nice for the off-season if the outdoor pool were also heated. But even so, we enjoyed the pool.

Stunning house & seaview

Our whole stay was nothing short of amazing. This is a dream home in every way. It is well maintained (you can tell for example by the sun beds that are in excellent condition and the voice of kitchen aid (le creuset pans & good sharp knives) and there is plenty to do like table tennis and billarts. The indoor pool & sauna were a great addition as the outdoor pool was still quite cold in May. Thank you Christian & April for the hospitable reception and beautiful time we were able to experience in your villa.

Beautiful Casa Katerina

The villa is more impressive than the pictures actually show, for a family of ten it was perfect with plenty of room for all with private places for quiet times and a fantastic games room for the young ones to play ….plus of course the heated indoor pool was brilliant for the children and adults April our host was absolutely amazing, we arrived on Easter weekend and requested some Easter eggs for the grandkids which April duly obliged fantastic, nothing was to much trouble for April and we thank her for everything she did for us, we would recommend this villa for a large family because you would not be disappointed

Brilliantly Spacious Villa

The villa has beautiful panoramic views - but the compromise is the long steep road to get to it - we definitely recommend hiring a car. However the villa is great, lots of room for our party of 10, both inside and out. The children (3,5,7 & 9) used both the indoor and outdoor pools frequently throughout the week - brilliant facilities for everyone. Communication with the host April was excellent and there was a wonderful ‘welcome’ basket ready for our arrival. We would highly recommend this villa for large groups.

Hidden Spanish Gem

Villa Katerina is as described, a stunning villa set on the hillside overlooking the Moraira coastline. The property is a home away from home. From the pretty pale blue exterior, manicured courtyard, beautiful pool and entertaining areas and inviting home facilities, our stay was incredible. We traveled with a few families and the layout of the villa allowed everyone to have their own space and also have group entertainment. A truly fantastic property, location and owners. Close to beautiful beaches and restaurants. A place for both the active and those that wish to chill. I would highly recommend this villa can’t compliment it enough.

Winter sun family break.

Lovely large house. The views are great as is the location. Maid service was good. The house was very clean, with plenty of clean towels available. The heated indoor pool was a godsend especially in February. We did try the outside pool as a dare, but didn't stay in long. The only negatives were some of the door and window handles need attention and it could do with some child friendly plates and bowls. We had a good week and would definitely come again.

It’s the third time we’ve stayed for two weeks at the house. Initially, for my wife’s 60th with parents and siblings and then last year for her 70th with extended family. We enjoyed it so much we came back again this year for absolutely no special reason other than we’d had such a great time. There are a few things to note - the house and grounds are very spacious and so while there are large congregating spaces, it’s also very easy to find peace and solitude. Ideal location for multi generational and multi family alike. Best to have a car for getting into town but local taxi companies are good too. Couple of things the photos don’t show - every room and space is air conditioned and so very comfortable in the heat of the Spanish summer. Also April, the house manager - very thorough and thoughtful, always happy to help and easy to contact on the odd occasion you need to. The house has a coterie of staff who keep it immaculate, including pool service and gardening. But a special mention for the housekeeper, Oona, who keeps the house immaculately spotless as well as being a friendly and helpful visitor three times a week. Highly recommend staying here - we have three times and will again

Paradise! Perfect views, perfect pool.

A truly beautiful villa, we adored the place. It's huge! April was so helpful, the property was immaculate and very well equipped. The pool was so welcoming and the wide steps made it very child friendly. We liked the 'secret' BBQ area at the rear of the property, such a lovely area to have a family supper. We spent most of our time on the sofas overlooking the pool, truly bliss. The town of Moraira is a pleasant downhill walk, it was nice to stretch our legs! Moraira is lovely, lots of restaurants and shops and a great sandy beach. Also a kid's playground! There were plenty of taxis waiting to take us back up the hill to the villa to enjoy the breathtaking sunset views. We certainly will be back, and bringing friends with us next time.

Two families 2023

We were two families holidaying together in a villa for the 5th time in recent years, and we had a fabulous time at Casa Katerina 😀 The villa has excellent accommodation (it’s huge!!) and the photos on the VRBO listing don’t fully do it justice at all… We enjoyed the fantastic views, wonderful pool, lovely garden area, secure parking, very well equipped kitchen, range of games and activities (inc table football, pool, and table tennis), good range of bedrooms, well appointed modern bath/shower rooms, and a good variety of communal spaces both inside and out… April was an excellent host and with the pool being cleaned daily and the villa three times each week we were well very well looked after 👍 The few small queries we had were answered and dealt with very promptly A few minor points to be aware of: - it’s a 30 min downhill walk to Moraira town and there are no shops closer than there…we did walk down for a meal and up again on our first night (and took the car from then on 😂) - not all the gym equipment is in full working order - the covered parking is a bit of a squeeze if you have large cars - the two bedrooms on the lower floor share a toilet/ shower room, all the other bedrooms are en-suite - some of the en-suites do not have fully closing / lockable doors (so if you value privacy, you have been warned!!) All in all a wonderful holiday and highly recommended accommodation…

Stunning views from a wonderful villa close to a beautiful location

Moraira is a beautiful Spanish jewel which I would recommend highly. Beach lovely, town vibrant with a great local feel about it. Great for a vast range of ages. Villa Katarina was delightful. Spacious & excellently equipped with amazing views. Air conditioning throughout was fantastic. Problems encountered with the pool filter system, electronic gate, etc were all dealt with promptly by April who provided us with a very welcome welcome pack!!! A very few negatives; better arrangements for arrival at Villa required and an information folder with all relevant info in would have been really useful. Also following enquiries before the holiday I was told there were 6 hairdryers at the property. There were just 3 and only 1 worked properly. We had to hold the plugs in the sockets for it to work in some bedrooms!!! Pool table and table tennis table both dated and therefore we found using them frustrating. The distance from Ampolla beach and the town of Moraira is not walkable especially in the heat certainly back up an EXTREMELY steep hill. With some minor updates this Villa would be 5*. We would love to come back to the Villa and Moraira.
