Hermosa y nueva cabaña tipo estudio para dos personas, con una cocina completa, inspiradoras vistas de la bahía de Griffin y más allá. Cómoda cama queen. El área de descanso tiene una hermosa vista del agua. La laguna en el fondo de nuestro patio tiene una maravillosa actividad de aves.
Esta propiedad está en el agua; puedes pisar la orilla. Jardín privado, entrada y parking. Esta ubicación está cerca de la ciudad, pero tranquila y rodeada de naturaleza.
La laguna ofrece maravillosas oportunidades de observación de aves y el soleado sitio orientado al sur es realmente agradable.

It was a lovely, quiet spot with a great view. It is in the perfect location for sightseeing and for visiting downtown Friday Harbor. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom has a heater that made it so warm and toasty. The chairs by the water were a really nice touch and we had beautiful sunrises all theee mornings. They have a lot of birds to watch including a couple of eagles, including one that caught a fish. Such a beautiful and peaceful time.

Quiet relaxing stay near Friday Harbor. In warmer weather we could have considered walking downtown. We were able to make breakfast every day and dinner one night as there is an excellent grocery store in town. Unit was private, clean and had a nice yard.

Nice little spot just outside of Friday Harbor. It's on the hosts property but you have total privacy. If we ever come back the Shaqteau will be on my shortlist.

The cottage is just perfect for a stay in Friday Harbour. We had a car with us but the cottage was only a 15/20 minute walk into the town and so most days we would walk in and back. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well set out. The views from the garden were just out of this world. Thank you, we had a fantastic stay and would love to return one day.

Very special place! Wonderful view and easy access to the private shoreline. We even found a sand dollar on the shore and saw a heron from the kitchen window each day. Host was very friendly and helpful. Cottage was small but very clean and comfortable for the two of us seniors! I grill a lot and the small grill worked great for us. Beautiful sunrise at Cattle Point Lighthouse complete with watching 2 eagles and a deer. No tv but didn’t miss it a bit!! WiFi worked great. Near the ferry. Great base to island hop.

The property has a waterfront view from the cottage. It is secluded with great privacy and peace of mind. We went on whale watching tour and had a mutitude of sightings of a well known female humpback whale.

The property itself was as advertised. The grounds were a bonus. A well thought out garden just outside the windows let us see hummingbirds and several other species from the comfort of the living room area.The chairs down at the lagoon were also a nice touch and we were able to warch harbor seals and belted kingfishers.

Great experience

Jim and Peggy were very kind and quick to answer questions online! Easy check in process. The owners are right next door if you need anything but the cottage is cozy, clean, and private! The bed is comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and was stocked with amazing coffee! The view was gorgeous and our favorite part was walking down to the beach to sit on the Adirondack chairs and drink our coffee and to look for seashells! Thanks for a wonderful stay, if we ever come back we will definitely stay here!

Great location. Only a few minutes from the town and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and my wife loved the shower. The chairs by the waterfront were a very relaxing spot for us to spend the evening. Would stay again, thank you for having us!

Quaint cottage on a lagoon

Quaint little cottage on the water with all the amenities of home. Cottage is located out of Friday Harbor and is in a quiet neighborhood but not far from everything. You definitely get the island feel at this cottage. We highly recommend this property to all.

For many years when we were living elsewhere (our former fast-paced, urban, busy , fun, and noisy ) the San Juan Islands were a beacon for us, shaping our goals for a new chapter of living a little slower, a little simpler, with more natural beauty. We have tried to keep to that vision in making our little cottage a place where you might experience what we love about his part of the world.

We really think this is the best of both worlds for out of town visitors. You are surrounded by the beauty of this unique environment, the water of Griffin Bay, the clean air that blows over these islands, the quiet of being distance from major traffic ways... and yet we are walking distance to the town's restaurants, theaters, museums, the harbor and music venues. We love living where we do on this fantastic island. Beautiful and convenient!
