San Juan Suites - Sala de canales: desembarca del ferry y, a pocos pasos, llega a esta habitación en el piso de arriba ubicado en el centro de la pintoresca localidad costera de Friday Harbor. Con actualizaciones interiores en 2017, el Channel Room se encuentra muy cerca de cafeterías especializadas, restaurantes, galerías y una variedad de opciones comerciales, a un corto paseo del teatro comunitario o del Museo de la Ballena.

Este refugio privado ofrece una cama king size, baño completo, cómodas sillas fáciles y un centro de entretenimiento con reproductor de DVD, reproductor de CD y televisión por cable para momentos de relax durante su estancia. Esta unidad también tiene una tabla de planchar y plancha colgando en el armario. Café de cortesía para la cafetera para comenzar el día, así como un mini refrigerador para mantener las cosas frescas.

Really great location. Couldn't be better. Walking distance to everything. Room was good with small refrigerator but bedsheet was ripped way down one seam (kept catching my foot in the holes) and carpet needed a good washing.

Reviewer Comments: The location was perfect for us, as we were taking a course at the Whale Museum, and were 2 blocks from the ferry as well. we loved the moring walk along the shore and docks. the room was clean and comfortable.

We are sorry to hear of your poor experience! We professionally shampoo the carpets one to two times a year, but we’re sorry your arrival was prior to the carpet cleaning! Bleach is not used on the towels. We are sorry the stairs were a surprise; on our listing we state: “There is not an elevator in the building; climbing a flight of stairs is required.” We’d be more than happy to recommend a ground-floor unit that is more suited to your needs and desires if we have the opportunity to host you again on San Juan Island!

Perfect Location

We loved staying at your condo. It was the perfect size, and the best location. So convenient to wander around downtown and come back and rest when needed. Communication with host was speedy and they answered all my questions. Great place. I'll stay there again!

We had a nice room, although the view was so so. Could have used a microwave and drinking glasses. Location was fantastic— just steps from the ferry terminal. Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect place!

Friday Harbor is the cutest town, and this place is in the heart of the downtown. The location is so close to restaurants, coffee shops and the downtown shopping area. Everything is walkable. The room is about the size of a standard hotel room. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend Friday Harbor.

Stay was nice, the location makes everything downtown within walking distance. The only problem we had was on our last night when a couple rented the room next to us brought their puppy and locked him in there room for four and a half hours of him crying and braking until they got home around 11 30 p.m

A few days in Friday Harbor

This was my second trip to FH. I was unable to rent the room from my last trip but very happy I found this one. The location was perfect and an easy walk to everything we needed. If I return again, I'll definitely pick this location however I'll book way ahead in order to get a room with a balcony. Everything was very clean and the scent of the Lavender store below was very inviting and soothing. Definitely would book again.

Steps from the Ferry

The Channel Room is just one block from the ferry, making it so convenient. Such a great place to stay if you want to explore and enjoy all of downtown Friday Harbor!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location to base your San Juan vacation. Easy walking to anything in town and the ferry terminal. If you have a car the parking space is a big plus. Overall the unit was very clean except the shower curtain was covered in black mold below, very disgusting, and the tub drain needs unclogged, immediately fills up and drains very slow. These two things should be an obvious red flag for any decent housekeeper. That said it wasn't enough to ruin our stay and overall we were happy with everything else about the unit.
