Located in the heart of Friday Harbor this newly renovated unit (in a three-unit building) is the perfect space for the mature day-tripper to go and explore all that San Juan Island has to offer and then come back and relax at night in this cozy suite.
Relax in the living room and watch a movie on the 32in SMART TV (guests are welcome to log in to their own streaming services account) or cozy up in the queen-sized bed with a good book. The bedside lamps even have a USB port to charge your device while you sleep. The unit is situated with a kitchenette, complete with a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster and coffee maker to start your morning off right. The 1/2 private bath is equipped with a toilet and walk-in shower (no sink in the bathroom).
This unit for 2 people is the perfect spot for those who want to explore during the day and relax at night.

For those who have a larger group, rent two or more of the connecting units. Unit #1 and Unit #3 connect.

The internet / Wi-fi at this house should be sufficient for streaming video, phone calls, remote work and video conferencing.

Nice place to stay

Very clean, great location except a bit noisy. They did provide ear plugs which was thoughtful. Located right next to downtown. Parking was no problem. Would definitely stay again.

The location of this property was perfect right in downtown Friday Harbor. The down side was the traffic noise on the busy street. The unit was clean and well described in the listing. I would definitely stay again. Very well priced.

Loved this cute little place. Right in downtown Friday Harbor so we could walk to everything. Turned the white noise machine on at night to eliminate the outside noise. Our suite was immaculate and we would happily stay here again.

Charming and Cozy Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My sister and I spent three days in this charming and cozy cottage in the heart of Friday Harbor. This rental is well-appointed. The small kitchenette had everything we needed to prep our own breakfasts and reheat our leftovers from some of the great restaurants in town. There was plenty of space for all of our things. The bed was comfortable! Would highly recommend staying here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed staying here, it was very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We ate out for all our meals, so we didn't need a kitchen, I wouldn't recommend for a long-term stay because you'll probably want to cook some meals. It was very clean, parking is pretty cramp in the back and it can be a bit noisy early in the morning especially on weekdays and there is a gas station across the street. They provide ear plugs if needed to counter the noise. Mattress and pillows are okay, more of a hard mattress than soft and pillows are a bit bulky if you prefer a flat pillow. Location is great for walking to shops and restaurants. Nice property, recommend for short weekend stays!

Cozy corner was as advertised. Close to town, clean, with spartan kitchen supplies. Unit 1 faces the road, which makes for a noisy location. Across the street is a parking lot that attracts young loud folks at night. Ear plugs would be useful to promote sleep. Very comfortable bed and furniture.

Amazing stay on San Juan Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic location!! The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. I traveled solo and felt very safe during my stay here. The only thing is the walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbors sometimes as well as the trucks going by. Just bring some ear plugs. There is a 9pm noise curfew so hearing the neighbors wasn’t too bad. I’d definitely stay here again.

Being on the main road the noise was a bit excessive but they did have earplugs to help. The connecting cottage was a bit noisy, wish people would respect the quiet hours as one of the guest had their TV playing all night.

San Juan Island Weekend Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location of this rental in Friday Harbor is fantastic (you can easily walk from the ferry and explore downtown), the street noise from old trucks and cars driving by during the night and early morning hours made it impossible to get a restful night's sleep (the rental sits between two gas stations and is next to an Ace Hardware so a lot of traffic). The bed is pretty squeaky too. And like other posts have commented, you can hear guests in the other apartment clearly. I heard them eating breakfast and having a conversation so be aware of your own conversations; I'm sure they can hear voices from this unit as well. Although I wouldn't choose to stay here again, I was impressed with the upkeep of the unit - very clean, nice bath towels - and communication with the management company was terrific.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The suite is as described. It was very clean and well appointed. For example, as other reviews have mentioned, it can be quite loud inside the suite, so we were pleased to find ear plugs for use in one of the drawers. (Side note: We also got a lot of noise from the next door apartment when it was supposed to be quite hours). The location is great. You can walk to restaurants, shops, and even a grocery store easily from the suite. Parking was an issue a couple of times and we had to park on the street using public parking overnight, then move our car in the morning. Overall, these were really small inconveniences (and we knew about the noise going in) that do not outweigh the location, cost, and cleanliness of the suite. We would stay here again!

Nice property, noise was an issue

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is lovely, really clean and certainly cozy. The only issue we had was noise from JP's bar across the street, Wednesday night loud music and people shouting until 02:30, Thursday the same but only until 02:00, Friday night was the best night with loud music and drunk people shouting until 01:00 but the new occupants of the unit next door made up for it, they played music until 02:30 they were very partial to early 2000's Justin Timberlake, no accounting for taste I guess. Saturday night was just more of the same, I guess JP's is the locals place to party which is totally understandable as its the only place in town open past 10pm. Its says downtown but its literally one bar across the street that ruins the relaxing nature of what is a great place to stay.

The walk into the heart of town is downhill so walking home could be a challenge for some. Being on a Main Street creates road noise well into the night. The overall condition is comfortable and cozy. It was perfect for our needs.

The place was very clean. However, the couch, the bed and beddings can be softer and better and we are used to a bigger TV for sure. I left a souvenir accidentally and they even helped us email it. We really appreciated the gesture and it made our day so thank you!! We will visit the island again!
