Great location, beautiful view and comfortable room.

The location couldn’t have been better for our stay on San Juan Island. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

Relaxing stay!

Super location with an excellent view of Friday Harbor. This location is close to restaurants and shops, we walked all over the downtown from here. Parking is easy and close. We will definitely stay here again!

Great base for a few days relaxing and exploring the island. A lovely quaint cottage vibe with all essential amenities. View from porch was beautiful, location was perfect. A few more simple amenities would elevate this property even more e.g. iron & board, larger vanity unit in bathroom.

Perfectly situated so I could walk everywhere in town in minutes.

It was perfect place for my needs. I was able to walk to all the restaurants in town for all my meals and it was clean, quiet, and spacious.

Friday Harbour stay!

Overall a very pleasant stay! Nice convenient and clean property. Easy check in process and able to check in early which was nice. Only downside is the walls are very thin and you will be able to hear your neighbors even if they are talking at a normal volume. They do provide you with ear plugs however.

Comfortable and lovely view

Our room was clean and very comfortable. We ate some of our meals on our private deck overlooking the marina. Close to shopping and restaurants with a short uphill walk. We very much enjoyed our stay

This is not a hotel. It’s an old house without insulation. You can hear neighbors in bathrooms, in bed, whole conversations and emotional exchanges. The view is not worth the absence of privacy or quiet. Go to a hostel instead. The two days here ruined my trip

You are correct! This is a vacation rental suite, in a building comprised of 4 separate suites. We imagine this review is due to your complaints to us when other suites were being cleaned by our staff. However, the building owner has made improvements with sound-proofing the rooms and continues making improvements.

Nice room, easy walk to town

The room was clean and attractive, as advertised. Only complaint was the extremely thin walls, you can hear a lot from the neighboring rooms. The host is up front about this with prominent signs regarding the thin walls and provides ear plugs for your stay. It didn’t negatively affect our stay.

The management company emailed us early on our arrival day to say we could get in earlier. We took an early ferry and squeezed in a gorgeous kayak. THANKS!!Could have used 2 luggage racks. Could use some shelves in the bathroom so we did not have to put our stuff on the floor. When you turn on the shower the water goes out onto the floor.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is located very close to the downtown, ferry and harbor. The rooms are nice, but there is little or no soundproofing between the rooms. We could hear talking, snoring, hallway traffic from the other rooms. A hot water pot was provided with instant coffee packets and tea. A "real coffee" machine would have been nice.

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your overall stay at Cannery Inn-Lummi room. These rooms are very popular due to their convenient proximity to the Ferry Landing and all in-town amenities. There are ear plugs provided in the room to alleviate the In-Town Sounds, which are one of the small downsides to downtown Friday Harbor lodging.

We especially enjoyed the proximity to town which made it extremely walkable and the views from the community deck. We were grateful for the white noise machine because the other doors in the building created a noise for the door in our room, but it wasn't off-putting at all. Would definitely stay here again.

Did not hear traffic but can hear every door open close, neighboring room conversations and toilets flushing. Would have been nicer if it had better insolation between the walls and doors. Only 2 paper cups were provided for 3 days in site, but with grocery within walking distance we bought some. Shower is very small and water leaks out of the door. I bit of mildewing around the caulking but overall spaces were clean. Enjoyed our time overall.

Super great location with a great view and clean.

This was a great an convenient property. The walls are very thin, so there was a lot of noise with the other guests. I would stay here again.

Great location

Clean and convenient to everything. Nice and clean but really thin walls. Could use some kind of counter space in the bathroom and a coffee pot. Would recommend!
