Amazing 10 stars!

This house is absolutely stunning. We absolutely enjoyed our time here and you can’t beat the location. Wonderful views of the lake and walking distance to many restaurants and bars. 10/10 stars and we are already panning to re book for the summer when we can get to enjoy the lake! Hot tub was hot and clean! Love it here, thank you!

Great House and Great Location

We had a great time at AAH Chalet! Very comfortable, close to everything we wanted to do, fantastic waterfront location, bonfires next to the lake every night :) Well maintained. Pool table needs some work. Functional, but very poor fabric. Also cues tips are just hard plastic and need replaced (easy $15 to replace them all). Thanks!

AAH Chalet

The home is beautiful, lakefront property. Very comfortable. Everything you could possibly need is provides at this property. That said, on the third day of our stay a latge group of workers arrived and swarmed the property, including the decks, and said they were there to blow away the leaves. This happened when I had just gone onto the deck in my PJ’s, none of them actually knocked on the door to let us know they were there, just a surprise when I walked out onto the deck. I immediately called Railey, they did not know anything about this and sent their maintenance person out. Apparently the owners of the property set this up and informed no one. I am not saying they shouldn’t have done that, but a heads up would have been nice, as I had no idea there were people out there and was wearing my pj’s. It was very uncomfortable for me. Other than that lack of communication our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Expected More

The Overall property was nice; however, the cleanliness was a little disappointing. There stained uncleaned coffee mugs. The grill was not clean there was chicken on the grill. There were towels that needed to be replaced, there were not enough toilet tissue in the restroom initially, although we were given two. The sliding doors need to oiled, and maybe replaced the one down stairs needs to be repaired. However, all of this could have been overlooked except for the heat. I am not sure if the heat is controlled by Wifi but we would set the temp and then go back and the system would be off the temp changed. We contacted maintenance regarding the fireplace downstairs because it stopped working, and never got call back. These were our main concerns, but we did enjoy our stay.

This is not the usual Railey Vacations standard and we assure you if you give us another try you'd find our cleaning meets or exceeds your expectations. Unfortunately, we do not provide any paper, cleaning, or toiletry items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, shampoo/conditioner, etc. Although we will leave in the home any toilet paper/paper towels that may have been left by previous guests for the next to use. We hope you received the check-in list itemizing what we do provide vs. what would need to be brought. If you did not receive this in your pre-arrival information, please let us know - we'd be happy to check out what might've happened there. The sliding doors are currently in the process of being addressed and more importantly the issue with the heat has been found and addressed, thank you for bringing those items to our attention! Amazing location

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was exactly as shown in the photos and description, the lake view was picturesque, the house is incredibly cozy and welcoming and a perfect size. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

The AAH Chalet

This beautiful home was clean and the perfect size and set up for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. The location right on the lake allowed for nights around the fire and on the deck, all which overlook the lake. The pool table and the hot tub were a nice bonus for quiet nights at the house. We rented a pontoon boat and docked it right at the homes dock. The location is good to many other amenities and activities, but it is on a busier route with more traffic. I would stay at the AAH Chalet again and would recommend it to others!

Had a great time

We enjoyed our stay at the Aah Chalet. All ammenties/applinaces were in place as promised. We had a problem with ants inside the house. Grill was in bad shape and maintainance provided an alternative grill promptly. Bedrooms were alittle cold. Friendly staff. Front lake. Clean, well-maintained. Kitchen was stocked with all the neccessary cooking/eating utensile,pots and pans, and Safe neighborhood, close to many different shopping centers and a local creamery. Would go back in a blink.
