Great vacation stay!

Everything was perfect! Clean house, bikes, clean hot tub, walking distance to the Village, and great communication! We will be back next year for a stay.

We have stayed at a lot of vacation homes and by far this was truly the nicest. The bbq is very good you don’t have to worry about burning your food Management was awesome always responded to all messages

Across the road from grocery & village. Safe tunnel pathway. House was nice and well equipped. Management was very responsive. Two Tesla destination chargers near by (at lodge).

Everything we could ask for

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament after a long drive to Bend. There were several of us and this house was perfect. Walking distance to shops which was helpful as the games were in Bend. The hot tub was excellent and all of the creature comforts, including bikes, we there. Would definitely recommend for larger groups.

Post holiday get away with friends

We are two senior couples that have know each other for over 45 years. Two of the group have birthdays the first week in January, so we now have a tradition of celebrating the New Year in Portland, then coming to Sunriver for our combined, post-holidays birthday get away. Backwoods 3 is spacious, with all the amenities we needed and it is located close to the Village. It was perfect!

Fun and Fabulous

We had a great time in this comfortable house in the woods. The location is great with easy access to Mt Bachelor for skiing, and right next to the Village with shops and brewery, also lots of walking/biking paths. The house is extremely well stocked with everything you need. We really enjoyed the bikes and games.There is even a bike trailer which my great nieces enjoyed (they were staying in a house nearby). Communication with our host was excellent. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great Thanksgiving

Great stay nice comfortable home. We did have one issue with the property.The back deck has no railing and our 15yo. Little dog walked right off the deck and took quite a hard tumble.Not blaming anyone but wish Sun River HOA would allow railings.Imagine if this was your toddler. Nice home thank you.

This place is a gem, and SO CLEAN!! Kudos to the rental agency/cleaners, seriously! The huge front covered porch was great for unloading in the pouring rain and a great place for two of the coolest ski chairs we’ve ever seen. Inside of this house is def early 80’s vibe, but in a good way. The suites on each floor with adjoining bedrooms with their own bath are the perfect setup for a couple of families with kids. We came with adult children and partners and it was so nice to all have separate baths. The kitchen is fantastic, thoughtfully stocked with all the things one needs to cook, including a slow cooker. Hot tub is perfect and private. Definitely have this on our Places to Return To list!!

Great Stay

This property was wonderful. It was very cozy and had enough room for 4 adults and 1 child. The walk to the village was great and we enjoyed not having to drive everywhere. This was the best weekend we have had in a long time. This was a perfect rental.

We were 6 adults and 4 kids ages 3-6. Easy 5 minute walk or bike to Village. Open kitchen living room area nice. Home needs updating.

A nice relaxing place to stay and a good location.

Having four bathrooms for four bedrooms was a very nice plus. I have never stayed at a location where there were so many things already there like lots of spices, all kinds of cookware and utensils. The vertical blinds were very weathered and fragile and the hot tub cover was overdue for replacement, but everything else great. The location was very nice and quite even though the Village was only a block away which was a plus, too. It was rather expensive through the VRBO and having to pay for pets when we didn't have any. Over the years we have had may less expensive visits without the VRBO overlay. But, it was still a very good time and all of our guests greatly enjoyed it. Our dealings with Bennington properties was top rate.

Mostly all good

If you have pets this is a good place. I hadn't thought about the implications of not having pets. The house set off allergies of one of our party and we had to wash one of the bed comforters to remove pet hair. The house was well stocked and we really appreciated the AC because we were there during the super hot weekend. The cooling of the smaller upstairs room could have been more effective.

Location, Location, Location

This house was great! Four bedrooms that slept 10 comfortably. The kitchen had everything we could hope for including things you don't really think about but miss when you don't have them like tupperware, aluminum foil and ziploc bags. The highlight of this house is the location- walk right across the street to the village! The only downside is the beds which are hard and springy. Everything else was great!

Great location!

The house was perfect for us. We needed a location within walking distance of The Village, but not right on a busy road. The house was very clean and well kept. In particular the kitchen was well stocked with with spices, sundries, and the pots and pans were all near new. We would be happy to stay there again.

A Complete House

This home was very clean and one of the most complete homes we have stayed in. It had it all - lots of towels, a well-stocked kitchen with decent pans and knives (so often lacking in rental houses), lots of firewood, bikes (including a kiddie trailer) all in a great location. The host was very accommodating to our needs. We will look here the next time we come to Sunriver.

Great location, could be cleaner

We loved this home! It was a great space for a family and literally a 3 min walk from the village. Only 2 complaints -- 1. The bathrooms were stocked with bar soap but no shampoo, etc. Which I would expect at this price. 2. The brown shag rug is pretty gross and didn't seem very clean. My toddler had white dog fur all over him all weekend which seemed to be woven into the carpet that goes throughout the house -- yuck!

However, we do have those items available at our office should you need them. I'm sorry to hear that there was fur in the carpet - I've notified our housekeeping management so that we can schedule a deep clean of the carpet.
