Deriva en el lago Michigan

¡Esta cabaña en el lago Michigan Beach es el lugar perfecto para relajarse y dejarse llevar! Disfrute de hermosas vistas del lago Michigan desde la cabaña o nade y practique kayak en las aguas cristalinas. Al final del día, no hay nada como relajarse, solo contemplar las espectaculares puestas de sol sobre el lago.

La cabaña se encuentra entre Ludington y Muskegon, en el condado de Oceana. A menos de 10 millas de una carretera principal, estamos fuera de lo común en una asociación privada de casas y casas de campo.

Las características de la cabaña incluyen una sala de pantalla donde puede descansar. Después de un día en la playa, enjuague en la ducha exterior. El interior de la casa tiene dos habitaciones, un área de sala y comedor, cocina completa, baño y medio.

La propiedad disfruta de un acantilado más bajo e incluye 100 pies de playa privada. Tenemos aproximadamente 30 escalones hasta las dunas, luego 300 pies hasta el área de la playa. El uso de tres kayaks está incluido con su estadía de alquiler.

Beautiful

Great little cottage on a gorgeous strip of Michigan coast. Very well stocked with kitchen stuff, games, and outdoor toys. The new porch is great. I would absolutely go back.

Lazy Days at Drift Away

This cottage is the best place to kick back and relax! The screened in porch is great in every kind of weather! The hammocks are wonderful under the pines! And the beach is simply outstanding! 😊

Relaxing place to stay

We had a great week. Ryan was great to work with and was quick to answer all questions that we had. The property was nice, clean, and just as it is described. Wish it had a larger coffee maker.

Relaxing, clean and easy!

The house is so clean and comfy. The lake access was nice and the kids loves having our own sandy beach. We had a great time taking the kayaks out on the lake and watching the beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels. We had fabulous family time putting together the puzzles and playing games. We loved our relaxing vacation and we will make it back for sure!

Drift Away is Delightful!

We had a fabulous stay at this well appointed, adorable cottage! The location is fantastic (near Silver Lake, Hart, and Pentwater), and the beach is easily accessible and endlessly walkable! Yay! We loved the screened-in porch for morning coffee, afternoon naps, and evening nightcaps. Because of the a/c and the ceiling fans, the cottage stayed cool and comfortable in spite of the high temps outside. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a great getaway! :)

Lake Michigan Paradise

We loved our stay at this property. From the moment we saw the welcome sign with our name on it to our drive home, this cottage was a perfect choice for us. It has a cabin-y feel, but is almost completely updated. Amenities are complete with full kitchen supplies, plenty of linens and beach gear galore. And that's just the inside! The screened-in porch overlooks Lake Michigan and is the go-to spot for morning coffee, naps during a thunderstorm or drinks at sunset. And the beach!! A short jaunt down several flights of steps take you to a virtually deserted beach. We did see some people, but they were strolling past or camped out well out of earshot of our section. Adirondack chairs and kayaks are stored at the beach as well. To say this was relaxing would be a n understatement. We already reserved our week for summer '24:)

Perfect family getaway!

We were looking for a quick adventure to break the routine for an extended weekend and this place did not disappoint. It is a small cozy renovated property as described. Everything you could think of is there and has meticulously been taken care of. We loved the place so much and plan to visit in the summer when it is not too cold for beach days. Highly recommend.

Drift Away is a gem!

Exceptionally clean and well appointed cottage with a beautiful view of the lake! Walk the beach for miles and enjoy the sunsets. We have vacationed in this area for many years and never tire of it. Thanks to Ryan and Monica for sharing and we hope to be back next year.

Another great stay

3rd year in a row renting lovely quant cottage. Owners so responsive. Never really needed to leave the cottage as views of lake and sunset are serene. Bought groceries for the week and made use of gas grill and screened in patio for dinners. Beach never crowded and the occasional neighbors we met all so friendly. Fantastic having chairs and kayaks down on the beach already. Cottage has everything you could need for a comfortable stay, updated bathrooms , nice linens, lots of towels, well stocked kitchen, and all extremely clean. Nicely decorated and lots of attention to details to make your stay so easy. Thanks for another great week!

Great Cottage on the Big Lake

Spent a lovely summer week at this cottage with my family. The views of Lake Michigan are tremendous and most days we had the beach to ourselves in both directions as far as we could see. Cottage is very well appointed with everything we needed.

Relaxing

We had another great stay! The views are the best part, Lake Michigan never disappoints. Love eating dinner and having the view. The screened in porch is great as well. The cottage is very well appointed and so clean. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from it all.

Second year in a row

we discovered Drift away last year, fortunate to rent again and still just as wonderful! Better weather this year, clean well stocked cottage, great beds, lots of towels, cleaning supplies, dishes. Hammocks at house, Chairs down at beach. All you need to bring is beach towels and some food....we barely wanted to leave the house entire week, but you can easily venture out to pentwater for light tourist shopping, restaurants, brought our bikes to Hart Montague trail in Shelby. But my favorite was hanging at cottage all day including screenend in porch to watch everynight's gorgeous sunset. Stop searching, book this place now if you can, you won't regret it. True 5 star in every way.

Fabulous second stay at Drift Away!

This was our second time staying at this lakefront cottage. Just like last year, we had an incredible stay. The house is extremely clean and provides everything needed for your stay. We especially enjoyed the updated outdoor shower. The beach is gorgeous! We enjoyed beach walks daily and loved taking the kayaks out. Cannot wait to return!

Perfect Cozy Getaway

My husband and I stayed over a long weekend for our 4th year wedding anniversary and baby-moon. It is all you hope for in a cozy cottage on Lake Michigan with a private beach. Secluded but a short drive to local markets, restaurants and wineries/breweries. It was perfect and we hope to go back someday with our further kiddos.

Amazing!

We were beyond impressed with this place! The view of Lake Michigan was amazing. It was decorated real cute and very clean. Just a real cute and cozy place. Would love to return in the summer when it’s warmer but enjoyed our fall getaway, colors were beautiful. Nice being able to take walks through the beautiful neighborhood too. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

It has always been our dream to purchase a property on Lake Michigan to enjoy with our family. In the fall of 2015 we were able to. Now we have the opportunity to share it with you and your family.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We have 100' of Lake Michigan frontage. We have about 30 steps and 300' to the beach. We have a 12' by 14' screen porch to enjoy outdoor living. The parking is right outside the front door with room for three cars in our driveway.

In 2019 we installed air conditioning and replaced the flooring.

In 2018 we replaced all of the windows and exterior doors.

In the spring and early summer of 2016 we updated the bathrooms and bunk room to put our touch on the cottage. We have added new furnishings to all of the rooms to make your stay comfortable.
