HARLEQUIN COTTAGE es su refugio de lujo y se encuentra entre acres de tranquilos prados de flores silvestres con acceso privado a la impresionante playa de arena. Las instalaciones del complejo son infinitas y ofrecen piscinas cubiertas, gimnasio totalmente equipado, spa, canchas de tenis, tiro con arco, pesca, mini fútbol, deportes acuáticos, etc. Incluso hay un campo de golf a solo 5 minutos en coche.

El pueblo de vacaciones tiene un acogedor pub familiar que sirve deliciosas comidas. Cuenta con mesa de billar, Sky TV, conexión inalámbrica a internet gratuita y admite perros. Lorenzo's ofrece una excelente selección de refrigerios caseros y cenas, y hay una farmacia que actúa como una pequeña tienda de la esquina.

Amueblado y decorado con un alto nivel, 'Harlequin' ofrece un alojamiento confortable con un amplio salón / cocina / comedor de planta abierta con Smart TV / DVD / Netflix, guardarropa en la planta baja y armario empotrado. This cottage is very cosy, it is very close to the tennis courts, pool and beach. The beds were comfortable, the shower was powerful, the kitchen was well equipped and the living room had some nice touches with books, Xbox, board games and toys.

Lovely property with lots of homely touches. Spotlessly clean, really comfy beds, and seems like they'd thought of everything in terms of what you might need for a self catering stay. Sharon the owner was a pleasure to deal with. We'd very happily stay here again.

Our first trip away with our pup

We had a lovely midweek break in this very well equipped holiday home which although we thought it might be quite small but was perfect for myself, two teenagers and our dog. Really nicely furnished and lots of thoughtful touches to enhance our stay. Would recommend and we will very likely visit again.

Superb !

Beautifully decorated and very very clean with everything catered for ( including extra long dog leads and dishwasher tablets !!) The perfect place for a family to relax in. Also the owners were very helpful when I realised I had left something behind and responded very quickly to sort it out.

A superb property for a brilliant getaway near Filey....

We've just returned from a short break over New Year at Harlequin. The owner has really thought of everything and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely home. It's in a perfect location on The Bay and ideal for exploring further afield too. Sharon, the owner, was incredibly responsive from our initial enquiry and was both very friendly and professional. Wonderful long weekend break

We were so impressed by the cottage and The Bay. It was absolutely perfect for a get away to celebrate a birthday. The house had everything that we needed to ensure we made the most out of our stay and we loved the personal touches such as the bottle of milk and biscuits which was perfect after a long drive. Comfy beds and plenty of towels. It was excellent having Netflix so we didn’t run out of entertainment and had plenty to watch. We used the onsite leisure centre and walked to the beach. The pub was great too. Real home away from home and we would love to return

Short but sheer pleasure

Firstly I must highlight the owner Sharon's attentiveness, despite not actually greeting us in person, her communications via e mail are what every hospitality providers should be doing. Being someone who through business have travelled extensively around the world, Sharon shows that the littlest touches makes the bigger picture an overall pleasure. The property was immaculate, with every conceivable items needed to make this a home from home stay. If your thinking of booking, don't bring the things that you think won't be there as they are. So even for those predictable days when the weather wants to spoil your break, they have that covered too, for a stay at home having quality family fun. As the whole development is relativity new, it does need some work on increasing the eateries available. We had a meal at the John Paul Jones, which was average, then a meal at the relaunched Italian restaurant, which had only been open a couple of days, to use the words of Sonia "soft opening" our meal wasn't the best, however the efforts of Sonia to satisfy us were outstanding, Sonia your a credit to the restaurant, being attentive is okay however you and your colleague were being over attentive. As it was difficult to fully enjoy our time having the meal. I must say these are minor gripes about what was great stay. Thank you very much!!

Beautiful cottage

This is a beautiful cottage set in the bay in Filey. The cottage is clean . The people that own it are nice. I had a problem that was sorted quickly . I had a great time and would stay there again.

I took my mother who is 83 , my daughter who is 24 and my 2 cocker spaniels

It’s was so amazing, easy access to property on arrival , a beautiful clean and fresh home full of little surprises especially for the dogs! Easy access to the beach and great to be able to park near the house with outdoor space .. table and chairs with bbq .. shame the weather kept us inside 😞 I highly recommend this lovely cottage and will hopefully return .

We had a lovely time at the bay. The cottage was lovely everything we needed was there. We felt safe the children could play just outside the door. It was really a home from home. We will definitely be returning.

Harlequin Cottage

An ideal cottage for 2adults and 2 children situated within a few minutes walk to a beautiful sandy bay.The accommodation wanted for nothing with lots of quality games for the children.We had amazing weather whist we were there and the outside space was ideal for boules and cricket in the evening.The towels and bed linen were lovely quality and beds very comfortable.Sharon has thought of everything and even left a lovely gift of wine and cookies for our arrival.Would certainly recommend.

Great place to stay

We visited week commencing 13 May 2019. The accommodation was fantastic even more surprised at the high standard as it is dog friendly. We normally have to settle for sub standard accommodation because we have a dog. Everything was there that you needed to make your stay enjoyable. The Bay was a great central location to visit, Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington. I can't comment on the facilities as we didn't use them. The grounds were immaculate. I would highly recommend. Hello and thank you for viewing our cottage.
Harlequin is owned by me Sharon, my husband Andrew and Grace our Sprocker. We are from Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
We bought the cottage in 2014 after a day trip to The Bay having heard how dog-friendly it is.
We have tried to make Harlequin a home from home, providing everything that you usually have to hand. We don't want you to have to think about washing up liquid, tea-towels, and dishcloths - You're On Holiday!!

We love The Bay Filey because it is so peaceful and family friendly. It is in easy travel time to many other tourist towns such as Scarborough, Bridlington, Whitby, York etc. and surrounded by wildlife.
