We stayed here this past weekend and it was perfect for the 2 of us. You are right next to capt rons who played live music all day and a dj at night right on the beach. I'd say this is more of a family area because it does clear out pretty early leaving you with your own little beach area by the docks which was amazing. The deck was perfect and right next to the volleyball area. The bathroom has been updated and the kitchen has everything you'll need. The bed was way too hard but the place was overall great. Capt rons does not offer carryout and their drinks are way too pricey so byob/byof. There is C G's Mini Mart with great prices and a kitchen that's a 2 min drive

Great place to stay! In the heartbeat of fun next to Captain Ron’s, swimming beach, and boat docks! Perfect place for a couple on the run and want a nice place to lay your head at the end of the day!

Loved this property, we will be back! Right next to Captain Ron’s Beachfront Bar and Grill. Sand beaches, public dock steps away. Very much enjoyed our time here!

Perfect

The location is ideal; right on the water, only a few steps to water, docks, sand beach, volleyball, beach side bar and restaurant. Family and kid friendly. Highly recommend staying there.

Amazing beach front activities

So many mixed feelings about this place! We absolutely loved being next to captain Ron’s as there is so much to do and we insisted on beach front for our kiddos this year. We LOVED the location for many reasons. I was bummed about the privacy in the front dining living area as someone sleeping in the sofa pullout will wake up due to lack of blackout shades. Bathroom remodel is so much better than the pictures listed, sadly if your sensitive to mold I would advise yourself. We had our little kiddos with us and not having a vacuum there made us feel bad when we couldn’t clean up their crumbs. Also, you will need extra toilet paper and paper towels as we were only supplied with one each. Cleaning could have been a tad better as the baseboards had some friends hanging out. Even with some crummy things we overall still loved where the location was and the very close amenities especially the beach and bounce house right there! We knew the possibility of things being on the rougher side, however we came for all the good reasons and I am so glad we tried this place out! We will most likely visit again!!

Great location

The place was so convenient. Loved the lakefront patio area and right beside the bar/restaurant. Food wasn’t the greatest but service, beach area/activities, and the unit itself were all well worth it!

Great location

Location & access to immediate activities very good! We needed to immediately go to the store for more paper towels, TP, kitchen towels & dish clothes. Minimal cooking pans & bowls, utensils, dishes, etc. Partial remodel looks great!!

Little get away.

I toke my nana her brother for 3 nights for a little get away to fish and relax away from everone .It was so relaxing and piecefull we plan to make another trip come fall . Well worth it !! Thank you Caption Ron's also.

Great place to stay.

Great place to stay. Great food at the bar. I dont bring my kids to the lake but would even stay there w my kids. The place was really clean and well taken care of.
