Quiet getaway

Great accommodations. First VRBO we’ve stayed at where all amenities were there! Beautiful pool. A little drive to the beach made it a little harder with kids and changing but very relaxing vacation!

Great stay in the woods!

Karole is the best! We had a wonderful stay. House is great and has everything you need. A 15 minute drive to the ocean. Pool is AWESOME!

Amazing base for exploring Myrtle Beach

Great advice and help from the property owner to help us navigate the area. Property is beautiful and ideally located to get to so many great places in the Myrtle Beach area. We loved watching the wildlife and the tranquility of the garden. We loved the pool and the ability to relax outside.

Perfect retreat

River Bluff Estate

This home was just as pictured/described plus some. The house is spacious and plenty of room for everyone on our trip (8). My family and I had so much fun and enjoyment from this vacation. Karole is absolutely the best. Very informative and helpful in pointing us in the right directions for entertainment, the beaches, and dining. The children loved the pool and I loved fishing myself. I definitely look forward to coming back to visit again.

Awesome property, owner and value

Amazing property. Very large rooms with plenty of closets and drawers, very clean, private and quiet, but close to stores and not far from any point in Myrtle Beach. The pool is excellent, and you could spend your entire vacation there. Karole is very nice, kept us well informed and made sure we had what we needed. Highest recommendation for this property.

Wonderful stay !

We go to Conway every year to visit family and have always struggled to find a place that would serve as an entertaining place to have a vacation while being still convenient for commuting to family and also have amenities to work. This house is absolutely wonderful and the hosts are so friendly and supportive. The pool is gorgeous and we most afternoons rowing on the river and fishing. The location is really convenient to the beach but without all the traffic and you don't have to live right next to other vacationers. We are definitely returning and will not want to stay anywhere else

Beautiful and Private Home

We enjoyed our stay here very much! Karole was a wonderful host and always made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was awesome and was a nice place to come back to unwind after a long hot day in Myrtle Beach. Even though Karole was right next door, we barely noticed. Very private and peaceful. It was the perfect distance away from Myrtle beach, only 20 minutes away. We would definitely come back! Thank you for your hospitality Karole!

Very accomodating!

We had a great time. While the home is dated (I know they are working on updates), the owner has gone out of her way to make it comfortable. The pool is beautiful. The home is very livable. They have more towels and wash cloths (in good condition) than any rental home I have stayed in. The home is very well appointed. The large garage was an extra bonus. If we return to the area, we will certainly stay here. The owner was fantastic to work with.

A total paradise!

My siblings and I stayed here for a week, and I can’t say enough great things about this property! The heated pool is to die for, and we swam in it almost constantly. Fishing in the little boat down the river was one of the most quiet and peaceful things I’ve ever experienced. The home has top notch appliances and everything you need for cooking at home, and the master bathroom is beyond luxurious. This home is so perfect and beautiful that it is more than worth the 15-20 mins drive to the fun activities in Myrtle Beach. Will definitely be returning here in the future!!

Secluded getaway close to amenities

The property is a bit dated and we weren't able to enjoy all of the features (we went in December so too cold for the outdoor pool); but its was a great, secluded getaway for our family. There is ample space for the family to spread out - both indoors and outdoors. The screened-in second floor deck was perfect for a rainy day, and our kids loved taking the row boat into the inlet. The kids play structure and flat driveway for little kids to scooter were nice surprises. Karole and Marsha were also very responsive to any questions or issues that arose.

let me start off by saying that it was everthing we expected and more. karol was a awsome host met with us went thru all the details of the house gave us a list of stores to shop at and resturants to eat at. this was by far the best vaction me and my wife have taken. we will return in the fruture and to be honest we cant wait to go back . and i want to end this by saying thanks to are host she was great

A great vacation spot!

Our stay here was perfect. Everything was exactly as described. The house is beautiful. For us, the private pool was a deciding factor and it did not disappoint. We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool as well as the outdoor patio. We didn't use the small boat, but the landing area for the boat is so peaceful it was nice to just sit there and enjoy it. We'd love to take that Master Bedroom/bathroom home! Karole is a great host - she kept in touch and followed up with us throughout the stay. We have visited Little River/Myrtle Beach area for more than 30 years - we rate River Bluff as the best place we have stayed so far. Hope to return again soon.

Fabulous vacation, wonderful property

The home is beautiful, and it is like being in your own home only much more spacious and luxurious. Karole was a wonderful host, checked us in and showed us around and then we only saw or talked to her if there was a question. Unlike most rental properties we've stayed in before where we had to provide toilet paper, garbage bags, soap, etc., all of that was provided for our stay and not small hotel soap bars. Definitely wishing we'd come a day earlier or stayed a day longer now, but do hope to return in the future.

Beautiful home, wonderful getaway!

We loved our trip to Myrtle Beach and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful River bluff estate. The house was beautiful, clean, and fully stocked (kitchen, linens, bath towels and even pool towels, which really saves on packing!). There was plenty of room for our family's trip, which included grandparents, parents and two girls. And, plenty to do! We all loved the pool & hot tub, and watching movies on the smart TV after days at the beach. And, although we didn't fish, we enjoyed walking down to look at the river. It's a great location - tranquil and secluded, but close to everything Myrtle Beach has to offer! I cannot say enough about Karole and her team. They were wonderful. There was a slight refrigerator issue while we were there, but they were so quick to take care of absolutely everything. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend and would love to return!

Property was very nice

I loved the property and it’s location. The host was extremely nice and helped us with any needs that arose. Highly recommend.

I founded a non-profit organization in the 1970's to help abused/neglected and missing children. In 1993 I added Angel Flight - air transportation for sick and terminally ill children. I have been a pilot with my own aircraft since the early 1980's. I own and manage rental properties. I love to travel. My husband is a trial lawyer. Our offices are in Myrtle Beach, SC.

This is a magnificent property. It is a large duplex - approximately 4,000 sq ft on each side. It is just the two of us and our granddaughter that live in one side. The West Wing has been donated for the use of families of missing children (while they were here searching for their own children/grandchildren). We have had family in and some parties here. However, we have not really used this beautiful home and shared it like it should be shared. We love for families to come here and enjoy all that it has to offer. It is a spectacular property and we are proud to live here.

Only 5+ miles from Myrtle Beach, the home is on a seven-acre estate located directly on the unique, black, Waccamaw River. It is very upscale with custom decor. The carpet is very white and very plush, and there are rugs placed throughout. There is a beautiful marble fireplace, a jacuzzi, and an entire room for the hot tub which overlooks the Waccamaw River. There is no danger of flood here since we are 70' above the River. The view is very much like being in the mountains. The estate is one of the highest sections in this County that's on the Waccamaw River. There is a saltwater pool and a dock. The estate is very quiet and peaceful.
