Nuestro popular condominio de la planta baja en Hale Kai O'Kihei es de aproximadamente 100 pies de área cubierta de hierba hasta el borde del océano de arena sin carreteras en el medio. Sólo unos pocos pasos convenientes a las actividades oceánicas y caminar por la playa por millas en cualquier dirección. Su cámara hará "clic" cuando vea las magníficas puestas de sol por las tardes y durante el día (diciembre-abril), remadores, windsurfistas, barcos que se desplazan hasta Molokini, etc.
Nuestra unidad tiene baldosas en el pasillo, baño y cocina y
"Cómoda para caminar en" alfombra en el dormitorio y sala de estar.
Cocina bien equipada para los amantes del gas.
Barbacoa (ubicada a cuatro unidades al final del edificio)
Y una lavandería que funciona con monedas en el valle (a mediados de
edificio).
Tiendas, pequeña tipo de turismo mercado al aire libre, comidas rápidas, la tienda de comestibles

Christmas in paradise

We absolutely loved our stay at Grace and Joe’s condo. The view and location are incredible, amenities were great, and being on the ground floor was perfect for our 16 month old. Communication with Grace and Joe leading up to and during our vacation was seamless as well. We would love to get the opportunity to stay here again. Mahalo!

A Week in Kihei

We stayed for a week in this very comfortable condo with lovely views even from inside. No need to move outdoors to witness spectacular sunsets. A friendly building with a nice pool right outside the sliders and public tennis courts just 3 minutes away. The beach was great for playing in the water and walking. If you want to boogie board or surf, you need to look for an area with more wave action. Lots of eating places within walking distance as well as a grocery store, so food was easy. Residents were very quiet after 9:30 at night, Would definitely recommend.

Location is Amazing!

This property and photos are exactly as described and viewed. The ocean with sandy beach and warm water!! is a short walk across the lawn and the pool is directly to the right as you cross the patio. I did laps every day with usually no one else in the pool. This is a very quiet and relaxed location, off the beaten path, yet literally around the corner from delicious eating places and lots of shopping. The condo had everything we needed for a very enjoyable week there. The gentleman in charge of all the condos was also very helpful, especially in the absence of the owners.

Out dated !

Our flight got in at midnight! It was hot and stuffy! Could barely get lock box open ! Outdated , not very clean ! No coffee to make in morning. No privacy ! Great location! No designated parking spot , sometimes had to park way away from our room . Had to ask for more toilet paper and they said they supply basics ! 2 messily rolls , would not stay I. The condo again.

Parking is open not assigned Lock box easy to open and beside door Unit was definitely clean and inspected before arrival Coffee is not furnished but Times Market a half block away Would suggest a late arriving guest who drinks coffee bring first nite coffee A starter pkg of 2 rolls of toilet paper was furnished and this guest waited 8 days to complain and then she stated she refused to purchase any toilet paper so then we as owners gave her 2 extra large rolls from our own supply They chose A ground floor unit with access directly to beach Sorry guest was unhappy and suggest she book a hotel instead of a condo

Needs cleaning and updating.

The property was in a great location. Pool, bbq well maintained. The condo itself was disappointing. The carpet as well as the rest of the condo was filthy. Fridge was not wiped down on the inside. The whole interior of the property needs a complete refreshing. Heavy dust every where. House keeper has not done job. Window pane was out over the ac which is mildewed & dirty. We put it back in. I have pics to back up my complaint. Exhaust fan in bathroom was full of lint and dirt. I took it down and cleaned it for fear of a fire hazard. And again, we have the pics to back up my complaint.

Comfortable and wonderfully located stay

Joe and Grace offered us a comfortable and clean stay. By the beach, we really loved the stay, it was calm but it wasn’t deserted. The location is perfect in Kihei with fruit shops/restaurants/beaches and anything you’re looking for nearby. The had all items available in the kitchen - starting with utensils and some spices. Everything was in great looking and perfect working condition. We would definitely want to return and stay here again. The swimming pool in the complex was easily accessible and of good length and super clean. We loved it. Oh! Not to mention, they also had some beach chairs, beach mat and a beach umbrella for use :) NOTE: There was just one little negative thing I would like to point out honestly. The listing wasn’t accurate about the king bed as it wasn’t a single king bed, but it was two full sized beds tied into one. It would move of course and I could feel the gap, and this aggravated my back pain as I was sleeping with my partner not only on my side. I felt it was unfair as the listing does not state this clearly.

Nice view dirty condo

Let’s just say we’ve stayed in many many vacation condos etc. , this has to be the dirtiest place I’ve ever been in. Pro’s Great view, plenty of towels, old beach chairs, cooler, comfortable bed, Con’s Dirty carpet, bathroom is so old, the sink was disgusting and the bathtub is old and stained, hair all over. Kitchen, side of the refrigerator has drips of food and rust. Had to wash cups and dishes before use. The pans to cook in were made of Teflon and were all pitted and scraped up. Living area: dirty carpet with lots of spots both in the bedroom and living room, the air conditioning has mold all over it as does the curtains, the sliding glass door doesn’t open at times, thank goodness my husband is handy, the furniture is very old. It seems that the owners really don’t care how the place looks they just want their $$$, they advertise the great view There are many other condos in that same complex that are up to date. I do not recommend staying at this one

Donna I believe I called at least twice to be sure all ok and was told yes. Carpet cleaner came in again the day you left We had tried to spot carpet prior to your arrival but stains came back If cleanliness was a problem the guest needs to contact the owner (do have number) and maids, repair persons etc would be sent in immdediatly The furniture is far from old and is VERY EXPENSIVE rattan and recently recovered with new hawaiian pattern Am forwarding your comments to my maid service which would have been done immediately if we were told Your stay could have been much more enjoyable if you would have contacted the owner right away when any problems could be addressed

Kihei Paradise

Grace and Joe's little slice of paradise in Kihei is just what we were looking for. Due to the pandemic, it has been 3 long years since we have been back. Normally we stay down in the Wailea side, which is beautiful, but apparently ALL the Wailea owners are trying to make up for lost Covid rental income. Grace and Joe's little gem was just perfect for our needs, since we hardly stay in the unit at all. But since their backyard is a long stretch of sandy beach and the Pacific Ocean, we found it hard to leave the complex. I hesitated to write an over the top review here, since in doing so, means it would be harder for us to ever reserve here again. So suffice it to say, if you are not looking to break the bank and be very close to the sand and water, Grace and Joe's Kihei place can NOT be beat.

Location is everything.

This unit was amazing for the location in Kihei in a nice neighborhood close to shopping and right on the beach. If you want a low key area with easy access to all things but not in the middle of all the touristy stuff this is the place. The rate was reasonable, the owners were very nice and responsive to questions and when fixing a minor issue. Water pressure was great, unit was clean and well maintained. It's not fancy but it was comfortable. My only criticism would be it would be nice to have a couple beach chairs in the unit, though there are places close by for rentals, and a upgrade is needed for the ac. The trade winds help keep the air moving, but the ac is needed and it is very loud when sitting on the lania.

Great Location but Could Use an Update

We enjoyed the condo and especially the location. It's nice to be able to just walk out to a swimmable beach and see magnificent sunsets. As others have noted, the condo is a bit outdated, but it met our needs. The kitchen is of course small, but well-equipped. The AC worked fine, but a secondary fan would be nice to push cool air back to the bedroom. The lanai is nice, but noisy with the AC running. All in all an adequate place, and very well situated for drives to different parts of the island.

Footsteps From the Sand

Wonderful property on the beach. Very clean with everything you need for a tropical vacation. Easy walk to market and Azeka shops. Close to shopping and restaurants on the beach. Quiet and well kept. Owners very easy to work with. Grace was fantastic host. Will definitely stay here again. Many thanks to the Rogers. We love your place.

Perfect location, steps from the ocean

Grace and Joe’s apartment was the perfect base for us to come home to after each day out exploring the island. The beach is only 30 metres from the back door! Every sunset has been spectacular, and on our last morning, a turtle popped up right in front of the apartment. We will recommend Grace and Joe’s to everyone we know!

Recent stay on Maui

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Kihei. Grace was very helpful with my questions and the check-in and check-out processes were easy. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed. We continued to find helpful items throughout our visit. And the view was the highlight. The beach was a very short walk across the grass. Also, we liked the location as we could walk to restaurants, grocery store, other beaches. We would definitely return to this property on future trips to Maui. Thank you Joe and Grace!

Needs to be fixed up

Mould in bathroom. It needs a good deep cleaning. Dust bunnies almost completely has shut off the bathroom fan. Good location
