The house was rustic but the service we received for booking and check in made it worthwhile. The property itself is perfect for families and convenient for kids!

The place was not as up to date as some other properties we have stayed at. However it was great for the kids. The listing didn’t say anything about a golf cart in the amenities but was a nice surprise. They also didn’t mention a heated pool (at extra cost) until week of check in.

2023 Summer Vacay

Florida trip

We usally stay in Panama City Beach. Our booking got canceled due to the owner selling the house. We had to find something fairly quickly that would accommodate 3 trucks and 2 large boats with trailers. It was a tight fit. But we made it work. We had 11 of us there was plenty of room with the loft room for some of the kids to sleep. It was definitely different from Panama. The neighborhood was still busy, but also quiet. We were within walking distance to the beach and some restaurants. We drove to Destin and Panama a few of the days to take the boats out.We enjoyed the pool after a day in the boats! We had no issues with anything the week were there and enjoyed our stay!

Vacation Rental Neglect

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at Southern Breeze in May 2023, this was the second time I had rented the property. Previously, I had rented this property about six years ago.This recent stay, I was alarmed at how little the property had been cared for. The house had many neglected areas. The house is in need of a paint job, it appears very distressed on the outside, poorly taken care of. The carpets are all stained upstairs. One of the bedrooms upstairs has large, old, yellow pet stains on the carpet. The upstairs back door is falling apart, the frame is brittle and damaged. The kitchen sink was leaking (which I reported), all the TV's were old and outdated. The main TV in the living room was difficult to use because the connection was consistently lost. I sat for hours on our last day just trying to get the T.V. to work. The remotes displayed on the table were missing pieces. The stair spindles were falling apart and some were broken. I vacationed here with my adult children and everyone commented that the place could use some TLC. The house is in a wonderful area and on a great street, the front porch is incredible, and the backyard pool is great. However, I would not rent this home again until someone gives it an update and addresses all these issues.

Great getaway!

We loved everything about the house. The pool was perfect for our family and friends. We loved the amount of leftover pool toys and chairs that were there for us to use; we added to the collection. One advice I would give is if you are cooking for a large family bring a large gumbo pot with you but other than that we LOVED everything. We can't wait to return!

Several restaurants within walking distance, distance from the beach was easily walkable, it was especially great to have beach chairs available at the rental for use as well as a “wagon” available for transporting beach paraphernalia. The very best part of this experience was that Coastal Blue Vacations had great customer service with amazing prompt response and solutions!

( We are used to having coffee filters, some basic spices, or more unbreakable cups for the pool and kids.) The gas grill definitely needs cleaning. It flared up into a grease fire the one time we tried to use it. Otherwise it was very nice. The pool and included wagon and chairs were great.

Mommy's Annual Family Beach Trip!

The space and bedroom number is what my family of 5 grown children need. The fenced in yard and heated swimming pool makes it easy on the parents of my grandchildren for a little extra outdoor fun while not at the beach. The location to the beach, ice cream, bike rentals, and restaurants are within easy walking distance. It's become our summer trip fun place and we already look forward to summer 2023.

Spacious House in Good Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was spacious and nice. The location is close to a lot of restaurants and shops. The beds were comfortable, and the pool was nice and private. The only thing that was less than ideal and a warning for people with children and pets: there are sago palms all around the pool and lower level. Sago palms can be fatal to pets and young children, so keep that in mind if you're bringing pets/kids. We had to keep our dogs inside unless they were closely supervised by us while outside.

Overall the place was great. The yard and outside could use some serious clean up. The kitchen was a bit lacking in cooking utensils. A couple appliances needed maintenance.

Nice house

The check in was very easy and the house was nice. The location to the beach was a little further than I would have liked but not far enough to need a golf cart. The included beach chairs and beach toys including boogie boards (although a bit beat up) we’re very nice. I recommend ordering umbrellas and chairs to be set up because we got to the beach at 6:30-7:00 to set our stuff up. The pool is the largest we have had at a beach house in Santa Rosa and all 7 kiddos took full advantage of it. The gas grill worked great although it was extremely dirty, but being a host myself for a vacation rental, I know how guests can sometimes leave things. The house itself could use some updating and the furniture could use a good cleaning but overall, it was clean and very comfortable for our 11 guests. I do wish this house had a more private beach access and not so close to a public access but that’s just my preference. We loved the ping pong table and all the chairs around the pool. I would recommend this house for your beach stay if you are able to walk and carry beach stuff and be able to go up a lot of stairs. This was not an issue for us. Brad was my contact person and he was very quick to respond to any question I had.

Weeks Family Vacation 2021

The location of this property was incredible—an easy five minute walk to the beach. So many good things to say about this house—the two master suites, the ample parking—the pool—the relaxing porch with great outdoor table. Our grandkids loved the hammock and ping pong table too. The bunk room and guest room (queen) need some attention to step up the comfort level of the king suites, but all in all we had a great week.

Good location, OK for kids

Good location for beach access and rentals, be sure to reserve golf cart in advance. House has wagon and chairs for beach, needed umbrella though. Goatfeathers seafood market is a short walk, fresh fish and shrimp everyday was awesome. House itself had some wear and tear, felt like bare minimum cleaning had been done. Air vents in every room were filthy. No one came by to clean pool. Had a few issues with appliances, blender was broken but a new one was delivered within hours, dishwasher not secured to cabinets, so it kept tipping out. Private yard and pool were perfect, wrap-around porch with outdoor dining area and swing added a lot of extra usable space for our 11 guests.
