Acogedora casa de campo en el bosque marítimo (Merrytime Forest). El grupo de la comunidad privada solo puede ser utilizado por las familias Ibis Roost y sus invitados (30 viviendas). Dos carritos de golf incluidos. El uso de Bald Head Island Club está incluido en el alquiler (el uso de la piscina, los restaurantes y el gimnasio son gratuitos, con una tarifa modesta para las canchas de tenis y un increíble campo de golf para el carrito y el green fee). We absolutely love the home. We loved how it was nestled back in the woods and had a pool in the community. We love how convenient it was to the beach and to all the restaurants.

Amazing stay

A wonderful home for our group of four. Probably among the most well-appointed vacation homes we've stayed in at BHI. Tucked away in a quiet, charming cul-de-sac. Neighborhood pool a bonus! Great communication with gracious and helpful owner. Would book again.

Extremely clean and comfortable

A great home - very clean, updated, comfortable for a family of 4, with everything you need for a great week on BHI. The Ibis Roost neighborhood is conveniently located, adorable and has a great neighborhood pool for cooling off! Highly recommend!

Love this cottage!!

Home is very comfortable. Has everything you need. Golf carts were excellent. Favorite part was the screened in back porch listening to all the forest critters. Would highly recommend this as a rental stay.

Perfect Family Vacation

We loved our first visit to Bald Head and Merrytime was the perfect place to stay! Incredibly clean and everything from the house to the amenities/golf carts/etc were in fantastic condition, a rare find at a beach house. We loved the location close to the market and central to beaches, the marina, and BHI club. We never ended up trying the neighborhood pool but a great option to have. We will definitely return and hope Merrytime is available on our next trip!

Perfect little cottage!

Merrytime is just perfect! A quiet spot in the woods, just down the street from the market. We loved how clean and uncluttered it was. The beds were comfortable and the golf carts were just fast enough. We enjoyed coffee on the porches and walks around the neighborhood before riding over to the beach each day. We had a fantastically magical week!

Wonderful Family Vacation!

The cottage was perfect for our family of 4! It was very clean, which is a big deal to us. Wade was very responsive and very easy to work with. The home had everything we needed for cooking - my husband was very happy about the grill! The golf cart and beach chairs were great. We loved the location - centrally located on the island - close to the market and the beaches were a short ride away. We highly recommend this property and can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful clean house with all the amenities

We’ve rented 15-20 houses on BHI over the years. This ranks as one of the best. House feels brand new as do linens furniture and appliances. So clean! Beds are comfy, carts are fast. Love the gas grill and screen porch. Owner was so helpful. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Merrytime

The pictures do not do this home justice. The decor and furnishings are top notch. Every detail for a comfortable and relaxing stay has been taken care of by the homeowners. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. Wade was excellent to work with. He and his wife have gone above and beyond to ensure their guests have an effortless stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Clean with everything you need!

Merrytime was a beautiful house on BHI. The house had absolutely everything we needed down to the lemon squeezer. The house and property were clean and beautifully decorated. The golf carts, bikes, and beach chairs were all in great condition. The property owner provides thorough instructions and access was easy. The house is centrally located on the island which made it easy to get the grocery store and shopping. I highly recommend Merrytime.

Great week

We have been to BHI many times. Of all the properties we visited, this one was the most enjoyable. Though not on the beach, it was quiet, clean, and perfectly set up. Carts, bikes, all good. It has been very well maintained, and we would definitely like to stay again. My adult daughters and wife agree. It was a perfect getaway for the family. And fwiw I think the pictures on the listing undersell this home. It is lovely and maintained as we would maintain our own home. Clearly the owners care about and love this property.

Beautiful cottage!

We loved our stay at Merrytime! The cottage was lovely and very clean. The golf carts were great to get around the island! Wade was always available to answer my questions. Would love to stay here again!

Blessed Vacation

We had the absolute best summer vacation at Merrytime. Property was very clean. It was well-stocked and every need was anticipated. Property is in a great location, close to the market and in the center of the island. Wade was a joy to work with and very responsive whenever I had a question. Golf carts were in great condition and zoomed around the island! Overall, we have zero complaints and could not have enjoyed our vacation more!

Exceptional stay in the Maritime Forest

The home, Merrytime, was a perfect place for my family to stay during our vacation on BHI. Not only was the home beautiful and very well appointed, we found the location ideal as it is centrally located on the island. Trips to Maritime Market were quick, which was great for as needed groceries/snacks, while BHI Club, South Beach and East Beach were brief cart rides. My family travelled from many states away (10+hrs) to enjoy our first BHI experience and this home (and owners!) exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic family trip

We just returned from a wonderful week at BHI. Property was immaculate, uncluttered, and well appointed. We actually met the owners on our way out and they were so gracious and lovely. Wade was always quick to respond if I had any questions. We look forward to returning!

Best stay on BHI yet!!!

My family and I have stayed at other properties on the island in years past and Merrytime takes the cake! The home has wonderful natural light, an amazing gathering area and a screened back porch for nighttime hangouts. Every detail is thought through resulting in an amazing experience. Thanks so much to Wade for being so prompt answering questions and helping us throughout the process. Merrytime will be our first choice on BHI from here on out.

Great start to summer

We have been to BHI several times. Merrytime was the most clean and well kept home we have stayed in. The golf carts were both very nice, fast, and held charges well. All of the bikes and beach chairs were in fantastic shape. We definitely hope to stay again.

A happy stay at "Merrytime"

Merrytime is a lovely property. The house is in a quiet secluded development that has the advantage of a community pool. The home is extremely well maintained; very clean, a fully out fitted kitchen (with a gas stove which is a bonus in a rental property), and lots of amenities including two new golf carts, bikes, a gas grill, and beach equipment stored in the garage. House has modern furnishings and high end fixtures in the three baths which is a very nice plus. Only thing renters might want to be aware of is that the third "bedroom" is actually a large loft with two double beds that is open to the great room below. There is not much privacy which could be an issue for adult guests. Our older teenager stayed in this loft and it was perfect for him! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Merrytime as a first rate rental property!

Perfect house for a family vacation

This house is the most well thought out beautifully decorated and the CLEANEST house I have ever stayed in on the island. My family has been coming to the island since my kids were little, they are teenagers and adults now. This house would be perfect for little kids as well. Located in the Ibis Roost community it is a quiet area with a little community pool. I was surprised at how nice the pool was. We used it more than expected because there was never anyone there. It was nice to just walk over for a quick cool off. The front porch is just lovely with a porch swing and rocking chairs. I sat there quite a bit because the landscaping is arranged so that the porch is completely private. Really brilliant. The layout of the house is quite nice. The bedrooms are all in different areas so we didn’t hear those crazy kids that stay up all night. The kitchen is so well equipped (not cluttered). It’s like all the items you need to make meals and serve but not all the extra plastic margarita glasses that get in the way. We cooked almost every night and I can’t think of a thing I needed that wasn’t there from blender to colander. Everything in the kitchen was spotless. The bathrooms again spotless. The furniture was comfy for movie nights and enough places to sit (sometimes that’s a problem even in the bigger houses). The televisions were new and every bedroom and living room had a nice one. The dining table was perfect for family dinners and game night. The grill already had gas (my last house no gas it was a problem) and the screened in porch was perfect to just get way from everyone or hang out as a group. Now the garage. If you rent beach houses you will know garages are always full of broken junky beach stuff you can’t use. Not this one! Very nice beach chairs, perfect sun umbrellas, fishing poles and the nicest bikes! Everything was so nice. The cherry on top of this house is the golf carts. They are so nice, quite clearly new. I will be renting this house again! In fairness to critiquing the house I can say the only thing missing was maybe a card table (petty I know but it’s all I got) for those family members who start one of the puzzles on the dining table and they do not finish it before dinner😁

Terrific stay

We just got back from a week at Merrytime and agree with all of the glowing reviews. The property is in a central location in the maritime forest. It's very easy to get to West, South or East Beaches. (We preferred the South Beaches--Access 34 or 35.) The house is just a few minutes away from the Market, the Marina, Old Baldie and the BHI Club. The house was clean and did not feel like a rental property. It's obvious that the owners take great care of it. They were also very responsive with any questions we had before and during the visit. Our small children loved the loft and being able to walk to the Ibis Roost pool. They also enjoyed all of the island critters we spotted (frogs, deer, lizards) in the backyard from the screened in backporch. It was perfect for our family of four.

Perfect for a beach vacation

My husband and I absolutely loved our time with our 4 young kids. We have stayed at several places on BHI but this house by far was our favorite. We really liked that there was a pool within walking distance and we enjoyed our time in the evenings on the screened in back porch. We will definitely be staying here again!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Our daughter was married on BHI at the Village Chapel in 2009 and we fell in love with the island. In 2014 we sold our beach home (another NC beach) to buy @ BHI. Nothing like it...unique, relaxing, and peaceful. Nature at it's very best, with rides on the golf carts always a great adventure and pleasure.
