Apartamento con piscina y vista panorámica en el corazón del Chianti Florencia.
Villa Il Borraccio es un lugar único y hermoso, si está buscando unas vacaciones relajantes o desea descubrir la Toscana. El complejo se encuentra a poca distancia entre dos de las ciudades históricas más importantes de la Toscana, Florencia y Siena, y desde sus ventanas se pueden ver las colinas de Chianti hasta las torres de San Gimignano. Toda la estructura está rodeada de plantas mediterráneas y un césped verde. Se compone de dos cómodos apartamentos en el edificio principal y un tercer apartamento Dependance Begonia obtenido de la renovación de un edificio ubicado a unos 10 metros de la villa. Cada apartamento tiene su propia entrada y jardín privado.
Suite Apartamento Azalea con hermosa vista panorámica del pueblo medieval de Barberino val D'Elsa, en los valles y colinas del Chianti y con vista a la piscina. Apartamento muy amplio y confortable de 170 metros cuadrados. En la planta baja hay un amplio y luminoso salón con sofá cama y acceso a la terraza privada y al jardín, la cocina espaciosa y bien equipada, el comedor, una habitación doble y un amplio baño con ducha. En el primer piso hay una habitación doble con hermosa vista panorámica, baño con bañera, una habitación doble con balcón y vista panorámica.
El apartamento está equipado con todos los accesorios necesarios para cocinar, desde la encimera, horno, nevera con congelador, lavavajillas. Lavabo A petición es posible reservar Aire acondicionado. Bajo pedido Calefacción por consumo.

Amazing apartment. Super clean. Comfortable. Beautiful pool. Scenery was gorgeous. I’m an artist and I just stayed here and painted. There was a different painting out each window! Gabriella and her husband were very sweet. Tavernelle to your left when you exit. Barberino to your right. Both towns had restaurants and groceries and bakeries. Siena and Florence are both close. We were here for 10 days and it wasn’t enough. I would definitely return.

Perfect, relaxing Tuscan getaway

Lovely, clean, spacious property with private terrace and parking. Large shared swimming pool in lawned garden with plentiful sun loungers and parasols. Within easy driving distance of San Gimignano, Siena and Firenze. Excellent restaurants in village within walkable distance. Hillside views with distant view of San Gimignano.Kind and helpful owners (helpful to know some Italian).

Excellent villa and location

We had a wonderful holiday. The location is perfect with a short walk into the nearest town where there are restaurants and bars. The villa and pool are very well-maintained with amazing views across the countryside. Great location for day trips into Florence. The host is really lovely and so friendly.

Lovely Villa in a great location

The villa was spacious, nicely appointed and very clean. Gabriella was a lovely, friendly host, trying hard to communicate even though we were not good at Italian! Lovely big pool, beautiful views and an easy walk to 2 close villages for restaurants. We arrived on a Sunday and holiday Monday so most shops were shut so it was difficult to get food. A few basic supplies would have been nice to arrive to but obviously not a requirement from the host.We would definitely visit again.

Excellent Host, Property and Location

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Gabrielle was a great host. The property is great, the views are magnificent and the location allowed us to use our rental car to travel all throughout Tuscany and return in the evening. You wake up every morning with San Gimignano on a distant hill. As an added treat, there are several little towns and villages within a 2-5 kilometers that few are aware of that are also historic and picturesque. Donato, Barbarino to name a couple. Tavarnelle is a great town to shop for groceries. They also have a farmacie. If you stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Too short…

Our 2-wk. reservation (Oct. 5-19) was actually increased by a week Sept. 28-Oct. 5, making it a 3-wk reservation, however, due to a medical issue, we had to return to the USA 10 days early. Gabriella was a wonderful property manager assisting us with seeking medical and hospital care. Lovely property and location.

Magnifique séjour en Toscane dans la Villa de Gabbriella et Franco! Ce sont des hôtes accueillants, chaleureux et aux petits soins pour leurs invités. Magnifique vue sur la campagne de la Toscane! Relaxing Family Holiday in a Very Beautiful Area of Tuscany

We enjoyed a delightful two weeks staying at Villa Il Borrachio in September. Apartment Azalea is spacious, well equipped and set on two floors. The two bedrooms on the first floor have double beds and en-suites whilst the bedroom on the ground floor has two single beds with a bathroom located on the other side of the kitchen/dining area. There is a wonderful view from the living room of the countryside with San Gimignano in the distance. The wi-fi was good and with our laptop plus hdmi cable we were able to stream films. There is a private sunny terrace with table and chairs. The swimming pool is well kept and a good size for swimming. Although shared by other apartments on site there were plenty of loungers and it never felt crowded. The site is very safe and secure. The location is ideal for visiting Siena and Florence with San Gimignano being closer. The world famous Antinori winery with its awe inspiring architecture is a short drive away and there are smaller local wineries that do wine tasting within walking distance. Being able to walk to the restaurants in the nearby villages of Tavernelle and Barberino (~15mins away) meant evening meals out without the need to drive - a bonus for the day time driver. In Barberino there is a large drinking water dispenser (still and sparkling) in the playground which saves wastage of single use plastic bottles. Gabbriella and Franco are very helpful and charming hosts (Google translate helped to bridge the language gap). We would happily return if visiting this part of Tuscany again.

Erholsamer und schöner Urlaub in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir (Familie mit 3 Kindern, 12, 9 und 9 Jahre) haben unglaublich schöne und erholsame 19 Tage erlebt. Das Objekt war wie in der Anzeige beschrieben, traumhaft gelegen und wirklich Toskana pur. Einzige Manko, es gab keine Waschmaschine, die eigentlich in der Beschreibung angegeben war. Hier hatte die Vermieterin aber wog, die Beschreibung schon geändert, was aber in der Anzeige noch nicht umgesetzt worden war. Sie bot direkt an, unsere Wäsche zu waschen. Bezahlen mussten wir hierfür nichts. Die Vermieter waren insgesamt unglaublich hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, aber auch sehr angenehm zurückhaltend. Man hat kaum gemerkt, dass sie ebenfalls auf dem Grundstück wohnten. Bei Problemen waren sie immer ansprechbar und auch bei der Suche nach Restaurants waren sie behilflich. Aufgrund des Wetters waren die Klimaanlagen in den beiden oberen Schlafzimmer sehr willkommen. Da das untere Schlafzimmer über keine Klimaanlage verfügte, haben wir die letzten Tage mit einer mitgebrachten Matratze zu Dritt in einem der oben Schlafzimmer geschlafen. Das Objekt liegt fussläufig zwischen 2 Orten, die beide über diverse Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten verfügen. Ausflugsziele sind in direkter Nähe. Der hauseigene Pool lädt aber auch dazu ein, einfach nur das Wetter, die Ruhe und die umgebende Landschaft zu genießen. Vielen Dank für einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub.

Had difficulty locating from the instructions provided but it was perfect when we found it. Comfortable, accessible, and great views. Gabbriella was a delight and while she speaks no English we managed to communicate with the help of a translation app.

Très Bon Séjour

Nous avons passé une semaine dans l'appartement Cyclamen et celle ci fut très agréable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire Gabriella, qui nous a donné toutes les explications nécessaires et utiles pour visiter la région. Le gîte en lui même est impeccable, très propre et bien aménagé, une seule suggestion, rajouter un lave linge, et une cafetière, car la cafetière italienne était petite et quand on aime le café ça n'est pas très pratique. La piscine est super et lorsque nous y étions il y avait toujours peu de monde. Le gîte est entouré d'oliviers et de vignes. Si on le souhaite Gabriella propose du Chianti et de l'huile d'olive de sa propre production. Nous sommes repartis avec 6 litres et nous en profitons tous les jours!! La situation géographique est idéale pour visiter Florence, Sienne, San Gimignano, Volterra, qui se trouvent à peu de kms ce qui permet de faire les visites sur une journée. Pour conclure nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons sans aucune restriction ce gîte. Isabelle et Eric.

Apartment Begonia

We spent a week in July at the Begonia apartment/ holiday home at Villa Il Borraccio. The friendly owner Gabriella spoke no English but we managed to communicate with our little bit of italian. There are 3 rental properties on the site, 2 having 2-3 bedrooms and the Begonia, a small bungalow with one double bedroom, lounge, kitchen an bathrooom plus a terrace. It overlooks vineyards and hills and the view from the kitchen window was to die for. There is a sizable swimming pool with loungers and large umbrellas which we had to ourselves most of the time. Villa il Borraccio is situated in very large and beautiful grounds on the main road between the small town of Tavarnelle val di Pesa and Barbarino Val D'Elsa. There is a pedestrian footpath aongide the road in both directions with superb vistas of the Tuscan hlls and valleys. To Barbarino it took about 10 minutes to walk. This is a very well preserved very traditional Tuscan village with beautiful buildings and church and fantastic views. There is a panoramic terrace in front of the church with a restaurant and pizzeria, both very good, but you may need to book in advance.In the small village square is another very good pizzeria.The weather the week we were there was extremely hot and the first night we got bitten by mosquitos outside on the terrace but we bought mosquito repellent devices and citronella candles the next day which seemed to work. The nearest large supermarket is just past Barbarino near Poggibonsi on the road to San Gimignano and is called PAM. It's open on Sundays too. The location of the property is excellent for visiting Florence, San Gimignano and Siena plus the Chianti villages. There is a bus to Florence and Siena from Tavrnelle and Barbarino, which passes the house. We decided to drie to Florence and parked at a free car park immediately after the motorway junction just before Certosa, then caught to bus to the centre. It cost 1.20 euros and you buy tickets at the cafebar just past the car park. The journey to the centre takes about 20 mins and stops at Florence main railway station. i would defintitely recommend this property if you like peace and quiet, apart from just the sound of birds and cicadas.

True holidays - de Vraies vacances !

La Villa Il Borraccio est très bien située, au cœur du Chianti, entre Florence et Sienne et à mi-chemin entre deux villages et leurs commerces, ce qui était très pratique. Le cadre, avec son point de vue sur les oliveraies et les ciprès des coteaux de Toscane, est encore plus beau en réel que sur les photos. La piscine est très bien entretenue. La location est parfaitement tenue. Le logement est spacieux et clair. Pas de four micro-ondes, mais y en a-t-il vraiment besoin pour cuisiner à l'Italienne ? Gabriella, la propriétaire, est très chaleureuse et serviable. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances ! We warmly advice the Villa Il Borraccio as a vacation's house rent. The landscape is wonderful, the location very easy to live, the house is clear and spacious and the owner really friendly!

Ein kleines Juwel in der Toskana!

Ein Traumurlaub! Einfach wunderbar dieser Urlaub. Die Unterkunft und der Garten mit Pool ein Traum. Alles sehr gepflegt, ruhig, romantisch und die Besitzer herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir (Paar 32 J.) hatten dort einen der schönsten Urlaube überhaupt. Danke Gabriella! Wir kommen sicher wieder!! Gerald + Isabel

Amazing views

We just returned from a great two-week stay in the Azalea apartment. Pros: -- great location, convenient for touring throughout Chianti. We even went as far as Lucca and the Val di Orcia. - clean, spacious layout, well-equipped kitchen and dining room, lovely terrace for al fresco dining, reliable wi-fi, fantastic views, secure parking - friendly, helpful owner (doesn't speak English but tries hard to communicate) Cons: - upstairs layout is awkward for sharing...with ensuite bathroom located where it cannot be comfortably reached by the second bedroom (meaning a trek downstairs to reach a bathroom in the middle of the night); in addition, the bed in the master bedroom is unbelievably hard! I like a hard bed, but it was impossible to sleep on this one. - some of the advertised amenities did not exist..no hair dryer or microwave, for example. While there was air conditioning, the owner did not provide access, indicating that cross-ventilation was enough. It would have been fine except for mosquitoes and street noise at night. - we knew we would pay extra for gas but were surprised to learn that also meant hot water...thus we paid extra to take a shower or wash dishes - we also learned that we would have to pay to do laundry (no problem) but found out that the owner would do it for us...4.50€ per load but we were surprised when it came back wet, washed but not dried. - there was also an extra charge for towels for the pool. Overall, we had a pleasant holiday. We simply wish the owner included more of the extras in the basic price so we had a better expectation up-front of the total cost.

La propriété est calme ; extérieur très bien entretenu, intérieur très confortable et accueillant, la vue est imprenable et petits et grands peuvent s'y reposer agréablement et profiter de se rafraîchir dans la piscine. Nous recommanderions volontiers cette location à un ami.

Kleines Idyll mit Traumblick in die Toskana

Alle Angaben im Online-Inserat wurden erfüllt bzw. übertroffen. Äußerst sauber gehaltenes und offensichtlich liebevoll gepflegtes Anwesen, nach außen mittels Toranlage und umlaufendem Zaun gesichert . Pool (wird täglich gereinigt!) ist Kleinkinder-gesichert (Hecke+Tor). Nebenkosten vor Ort (Gas/Metano, Klimaanlage) angemessen. Vermieterin Vor-Ort jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit bei Problemen oder Informationen aller Art ohne in irgendeiner Weise aufdringlich zu wirken. Arbeiten an der Anlage werden weitestmöglich "im Hintergrund" erledigt. Allgemeines: Alle zentralen Orte der Toskana in relativ kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Traumblick Richtung San Gimignano (App. Azalea). Würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen bzw. dieses Domizil auch Freunden empfehlen.
