Great View

Such a great place to spend some time in Hawaii. The view is spectacular, you always feel like you're at the beach. The condo is nice and quiet with the sliding door closed. Fantastic rental, plan to rent it again at some point.

Good base camp

We had a good stay, the cleanliness was good but the corners and next to the fridge need a cleaning. Beds were very comfortable, the shower is amazing!! Even on the 17th floor the city noise is loud but not unbearable. We had everything we needed for our 4 days here. Barbara was wonderful, very friendly and helpful! I would stay here again.

Our 19 stay at Waikiki Park Heights

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall very satisfactory. On arrival we could not get into the building and there was no one to greet us. As well maintenance of our unit seems to have been neglected for sometime. Leaking toilet; missing stopper in bathroom sink; loose cabinet doors; loose chair feet; closet door out of rails; burned out lights etc. Also some equipment missing or needing replacement ie. laundry basket; broom; pillows for sundeck chairs; useable cooking pot. Most of these problems were resolved to our satisfaction.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this unit needs quite a lot of repair, maintenance and deep cleaning. The sofa has holes in it and it quite dirty. the wall has a 5 ft gash in it that is peeling, there is a cabinet door hanging in the kitchen and more... I notified the management but never got a response. The rent just keeps climbing but there is no improvement. We have now moved to bigger unit with another company...and saved $600.00

My family stayed at Hale Koa (military') and I was able to dash around with ease ...nonstop adventures every other day. We hiked Konahead Stairs ,fly to Maui and the BIG ISLAND! Volcanoes and black sand beaches. I stayed 12/3-12/13. The unit was clean loved the walk in shower and SO WILL YOU! As this was a solo trip and on my bucket list. The tv is a LIL tricky but you will get the hang on it. Thanks Captain Cook! You were very helpful ,

Waikiki vacation

The location was perfect for our vacation. Since we did not rent a car, the busses were convenient. The beach, stores and restaurants were all within easy walking distance.

Dealing with Capt Cook Real Estate was very quick, easy and professional.We were met by property manager Barbara (contacted her prior) at the lobby and she then showed us the unit. Gave us instructions on how to use the tv etc.The bedroom had a king bed, tv, cupboards and enough space to store our luggages. The living space had a 4 seater dining table and awesome sofa bed (the easiest and the most comfortable sofa bed ever!), nice modern kitchen that I used to make breakfast. The shower was nice and big and had separate toilet, we were provided with beach towels and ample of towels. As requested, they also kindly provided us with a single folded mattress as my kids prefers sleeping on their own bed. With clean sheets (inc pillow cases and blankets). I’m very happy that the unit was very clean and the vacuum cleaner was handy to use during our stay.The beach gears (chairs, umbrella and boogie boards) was really good to have for beach days. This was in the balcony along with 3 chairs and table which we used when we ate breakfast and enjoyed the wonderful view.The view was the most amazing thing about this unit. You could see the surfers! The best view hands down! And the mountain view at the entrance of the unit when going to the lift.Location was central and only 5 mins walk to the beach. Very close to food pantry (grocery store), our favourite eatery international street food - Blue Water Shrimp & Seafood. Bus stop is also only 2 mins walk. We used the bus for $5 all day pass to go to Ala Moana Shopping and also Pearl Harbour (USS Arizona Memorial). We rented a car for a couple of days through Budget at International Market Place (less than 5 mins walk) and parked our car overnight for $20+taxes.We used the pool once which was located at 4th floor. It was just a quick dip as we already spent a day in Waikiki Beach.We loved our
