Hecha a la medida casa con un montón de terrazas, cubierta de techo de gran tamaño con vistas panorámicas de la bahía y la casa de la luz,, muy bien amueblada con una decoración playera, garaje para 2 coches de gran tamaño, sistema de seguridad, jardinería profesional con aspersores y adoquines, mantenimiento exterior libre con las impresiones de cedro revestimiento, hecha a la medida fogón de gas, de encargo 2 gradas muelle trex con un montón de espacio para todos sus juguetes de agua. El muelle fue diseñado para adaptarse a un barco de 26 pies y un bote 16 pies. Amplia sala de estar abierta con un dormitorio principal de arriba separada de todas las habitaciones para mayor privacidad, primeros trimestres piso de misiones con 3 dormitorios cuarto de baño completo y sala de estar para hacer un hogar perfecto para un montón de amigos y familiares para visitar

Family LBI Trip

Loved the property, particularly great for our kids (2). Having the park so close was awesome. Little far to walk to the beach but we did not have issues with street parking there - though we were before the season really got started. Overall very positive experience and would recommend this property.

Multi-generation Family Vacation - Ages 2-90

Comfortable, spacious home. Something for everyone - close to playground, beach, and bay beach. Lots of outdoor seating. Loved the firepit and various porches. Beautiful view of sunsets. Other activities close by- miniature golf, lighthouse, shopping, restaurants. Rented a boat for a day - great crabbing! All in all, a wonderful stay!

Love the location!

The location in High Bar Harbor made this a wonderful choice. It was peaceful, quiet with lovely views and a short bike ride to beaches, Old Barney, shops and friends. The three bikes at the rental were perfect for us. The amenities like the grill, backyard furniture, and laundry made for a fun and comfortable stay. The house needs some updating, new paint and a good cleaning. The kitchen needed placemats, towels, the patio furniture needed cleaning and cusions and there was only one good beach chair available. Overall it was a relaxing stay in the perfect location for a good price.

Lovely home and great location

We enjoyed this lovely house on the lagoon! Despite the torrential rain that we had throughout the week, we had the comforts of this spacious home to spend quality time with our family. Open decks and screened porches throughout the house, plenty of room and wonderful views especially the rooftop panorama where you could see the ocean, the bay, and lighthouse. We brought our kayaks; it was terrific to have them right on the dock ready to go. Kayaking here is perfect for both novices who want to tootle around the canals, or for the more experienced to venture out into the bay. Dave was wonderfully responsive and answered my myriad of questions! He offered nice recommendations for restaurants. When the wifi wasn’t working upon our arrival, he contacted the company and got it going for us. The house is well maintained and nicely cleaned when we arrived. The kitchen is amply stocked with cooking supplies, except baking gear. There were no cake pans or cookie sheets. Nor was there a roasting pan. Could use some large soup/pasta bowls. Excellent appliances; gas stove, oven and a top-notch toaster oven. Fantastic washer & dryer! One clarification: the listing says 3 Full Baths, but it is technically 2.5. Wonderful neighborhood. We walked to the beach - absolutely gorgeous. The backyard is lovely with pretty landscaping (the photos don’t do it justice.) It is fenced in so we could be out there with our dog - very relaxing. We appreciate that the owners allow dogs. Highly recommend!

Great house for boaters

Awesome house and property! All the modern amenities anyone could ask for. Quiet end of cul-de-sac. Beautiful views from multiple decks. Can't wait to return!

Rough Start

Unfortunately when we arrived at the property we found that the house had not been cleaned. The prior guest signed the guest book stating that they had dogs. The beds and sofas were covered in black dog hair. We have two children with allergies and one with asthma. We contacted the owner and told him he needed to get cleaning people here immediately since we could not enter the house with the children. He gave us excuses. Evidently the cleaning person did not show up. This is his responsibility not ours. We started to clean the house ourselves and my daughter went to Walmart to buy new mattress covers and pillows with his approval. He said he would reimburse us as well as two days rebate on the rental fee. Cleaners finally showed up and began cleaning the house. He complained to us how much it was costing him to hire cleaners on a Saturday. During one of our phone conversations with the owner he said if we weren't happy we should just leave, which would be difficult for us since we drove 3 hours plus to get there. This is not our problem. We couldn't actually occupy the house until Saturday evening. Once the house was cleaned we enjoyed the rest of our stay. We shouldn't have to go through this when starting a vacation. We also did not have access to the deck off of the kitchen and the roof top deck which were highlights of this property due to a tornado two week prior. He said he would have someone there to fix it who never showed up. In the end he DID NOT refund us the two days he promised but only one day. We will not be renting from this owner again.

Great home in a beautiful part of LBI I hardly knew existed!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in High Bar Harbor. The house has plenty of bedrooms, beautiful views, and the nearest beach felt much more secluded than other parts of the island. Having a dock and access to the bay was really cool - though not being boat people we didn’t really take advantage of that area as much as others might. Mine is more of a hang-at-the-beach-all-day crew which proved a little tricky transportation wise. We had to drive or bike there, which meant more planning - not always the easiest task when family is in involved. But once at the beach, we all really enjoyed the quiet and seclusion relative to other parts of the island. The owner was very easy to connect with helpful in the rare instances we needed help. Especially when a tornado blew through! But that’s a story for another day. :)

Quarantine Beach Week in LBI - High Bar Harbor, Barnegat Light

My husband and 3 adult children (ages 23-30) thoroughly enjoyed our "quarantine vacation" in LBI. The house was great - very spacious with many decks and seating arrangements which allowed for different places to "hang out" in the house. The reverse living floor plan allowed for great views while dining or enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The beach chairs, coolers, umbrella and bikes were a great addition to the rental. Being able to bring our four-legged family member (my terrier) was an added bonus. Owner was easy to contact and communicate with. It is a quick ride to the beach entrance - or you could take a bike to beach (which was great for social distancing), Viking Village, or town of Barnegat Light. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this house. Our only drawback was that the location of the house at the end of the lagoon made it difficult to swim in the lagoon (if that is your intention) with the debris that collected in front of the dock. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!

A great place to spend time with family

We enjoyed our stay at Alma 1. We had two small children with us, and found the back yard along the water a wonderful place to just hang out when the weather was too hot for the beach. We brought our own inflatable tubes and kayaks, and went into the canal every morning and afternoon. The drive to the beach is very short, and parking was never a problem. The children enjoyed the playground so near by, and we were able to easily walk for coffee to Viking Village in the morning. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. If you are like us and enjoy cooking, bring your favorite pans. We would love to come again next summer!!

Nice property bad weather

Nice property weather was bad and the floor plan of the house was a tremendous amount of steps which made the vacation more like a work out. I basically spent two thirds of my vacation alone there were two many steps for our dogs so my wife took them home.The dock is in need of minor repair one step was broken on arrival the rest need an outside support. For me I enjoyed it it was a good work out the home is in a beautiful location. Thanks my next question is when and how will my deposit be returned

Hi Richard, I am sorry weather was bad and sorry could not help with that. We will look in to step and if needs to repair will do it this week. Steps are in most of all houses on LBI as by code now they require house to be raised. VRBO will release deposit 3 days after Tenant leaves as VRBO keeps the deposit. Perfect vacation

This house is lovely, comfortable and spacious. We had a great family vacation. We spent a lot of time in the backyard and on the dock, swimming and catching crabs. The are water views from almost every room. We really appreciated the beach chairs and other beach amenities in the garage. We hope to rent again next year.

Bay living at its best

Our stay in HBH was amazing. The house is close to little shops and an adorable children's playground. Living on the bay was fun for our entire family and there were water views from every window! The house is comfortable and large enough for lots of friends or family to stay. The fenced in backyard has a fire pit and many chairs along with picnic tables. The owner was also great with his response time when I emailed and extremely nice. All in all great visit!

Great find on LBI. Off the beaten track a bit. House is beautiful.. see water views from all the windows and decks. House well appointed- enjoyed the bikes provided/ Short drive over to beach. Had a great week and will plan to go back.

Great property!

We stayed at the property from 8/6/2016-8/13/2016. The home was very comfortable with lots of pleasant views as well as plenty of room for a large group to enjoy the stay. The home was very clean and nicely appointed. We found the area to be very nice as well as the beach being close by. The bikes made the area more fun as we were able to bike around for coffee, papers etc at White's market. Close by and in view from the property was the Lighthouse making for a memorable experience as this is the anchor site for Barnegat light. I would recommend staying at this property and hope to return again.

I loved this property because it had such beautiful views from the decks but also viewable from every level of the house. The backyard sitting area and private lagoon was perfect for my family and the fire pit was great for s'mores at night! Since there were young children with me I found it convenient that there was a small playground around the corner. The house was clean and all 9 of us slept without fuss, there was extra pillows and blankets as well. The house supplied all the plates, cups, utensils and cookware but it did not have water floaties. We had to drive to most places but we would definitely rant again!
