Este apartamento para 4 personas junto a la Gran Vía y la Plaza de Callaose encuentra en un edificio histórico con ascensor, una rareza en esta zona. Recién reformado y lleno de luz, ofrece dos balcones, dos dormitorios y una atmósfera tranquila, perfecta para descansar tras explorar Madrid a pie.

Situado en la tercera planta de un precioso edificio protegido de 1880, este apartamento fue completamente renovado para ofrecer una estancia cómoda, tranquila y cuidada al detalle. A pesar de su ubicación privilegiada en pleno centro, sorprende por su silencio y su atmósfera serena, con dos balcones que permiten asomarse a la vida madrileña sin renunciar al descanso.

El espacio está pensado para alojar cómodamente a familias, dos parejas o un grupo de amigos. Dispone de dos dormitorios independientes, ambos con cama de matrimonio, separados por una pared con puerta corredera que aporta flexibilidad y privacidad. Un detalle poco habitual en los edificios históricos del centro: el inmueble cuenta con ascensor, para que llegar a casa sea siempre sencillo.

El apartamento ofrece:

Dos dormitorios con cama de matrimonio (140 × 200 cm), con habitaciones intercomunicadas separadas por una pared con puerta corredera.

Salón acogedor con sofá cómodo, mesa de comedor para cuatro personas, gran TV y acceso a uno de los balcones.

Cocina de concepto abierto, totalmente equipada con vitrocerámica, microondas con grill, frigorífico y lavadora.

Baño moderno con amplia ducha de doble cabezal.

Aire acondicionado.

Conexión Wi-Fi de alta velocidad.

Además, se proporciona ropa de cama y toallas limpias, plancha, secador de pelo, mapas e información local, así como algunos ingredientes básicos de cocina para empezar la estancia.

Los huéspedes tendrán acceso completo y privado a todo el apartamento durante su estancia. El edificio dispone de ascensor (capacidad máxima para dos personas).

This property was in a fabulous location. Hosts were very responsive especially when it came to the major power outages. Checkin was a bit awkward since there was construction and the floor levels had been painted over but once we viewed the directions in more detail, they were good.

Beautiful, fully equipped apt. Quiet street but central to everything.

The location could not be more perfect for central Madrid. The apt is beautiful and we had plenty of space for 3 adults. We would definitely book again when we return to Madrid. Vanessa was very responsive and detailed in her instructions which we appreciated.

Our place we stayed in was perfect! Decor, amenities, location etc... The host was right on it when you had a question or to help out with directions and where to go. We would definitely stay there again when we return. We were a family of 3.

The actual apartment was excellent, what I ran into issues was with communication. I need to be clear that the information they provided initially was good, I was not expecting it that early and did not went over thoroughly, that’s on me.What I did not pick up was that in order to get the lift I needed to go up to the apartment and retrieve the elevator key, that was 60 steps up three floors… but unfortunately that did not end there as the lift was not working and stayed broken the entire time. For us which have mobility issues was extremely hard, I also understand that mechanical issues will occur but it was clear that this lift “broke down often.Now my issue on communication was in talking to them and they assume that I new when in reality I was calling to get access to the building and they assume I was already in and was talking about getting access to the apartment etcAfter asking several times for an update on the lift got nothing but the lid was the day before departure I asked if there was a way to get the taxi driver to go up and help with the luggage, I got a negative plus the regulations that did not permit them to leave the taxi unattended, I then asked if they new someone that cold do it around 9am… no reply and here’s where I got pissed up , after I brought the luggage down and went looking for a taxi I found that they had secured one and was there to go up…. I was never told and almost missed him as I had already gotten on..

Great location, very close to three metro stations. lot of food options around the apartment. and a 24 hour market with basics available. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, cutlery and others. Very close to Plaza Mayor and other popular plazas. If you have a car, there is no parking anywhere nearby - so be aware! The communication has been prompt and the in person checkin was a great gesture on our first trip to Madrid. The room without A/c tends to get warm. be prepared

Great apartment in an outstanding location

This apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. While it is on the 3rd floor, there is a lift. However the lift stops at the in-between floors so you go up to the 4th floor and then down about 10 steps. The lift is only big enough for a suitcase and one person. The apartment itself is cozy, with two balconies. The kitchen is well stocked. We used the washer which worked fine. There is no drying feature but there is a drying rack. The shower was big enough and the water hot. The neighbourhood is fantastic. The apartment is on a pedestrian street steps from Plaza Callao. We were able to find restaurants for dinner within walking distance and several metro lines between Callao and Opera stations. We would certainly consider renting this apartment again.

Heavy mold, poor communication, flooded during heavy rain

The building is in bad shape, with broken walls all over, exposed bricks, holes ans debris like if it is under construction. Elevator is super tight, only 1 person can fit. Apartment has a very strong smell of mold, only 1 out of 2 mini splits a/c units work. Shower was clogged. Washing machine door doesn't open, you have to call them to come open but, they do not answer any call out of their work schedule which is Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, if you all out of that time you are out of luck. The apartament flooded one morning with heavy rain, the water also affected the people on the lower floor, they came knocking in our door. The only good thing in this apartment is the layout and location. Other than that, is awful and should not be rented knowing all these bad conditions, especially having mold which made us sick, especially me that that suffer from severe allergies and asthma.

Strong smell of mold, small beds, no a/c, water pours inside apartment when it rains

Heavy smell of mold right from the beginning which is awful for people with allergies like me. Beds are small, like full size, shower with mold on the grout, shower was clogged, washing machine door gets stuck, only 1 person fits in the elevator. Bedroom corner wall had severe water damage. Only 1 out of 2 mini split a/c unit was working. Building with all walls cracked with exposed bricks and debris. Apartment is on the 4th floor so when it rains, water comes into the bedroom byv the a/c, same in the livingroom and also thru the kitchen ceiling and it will flood. Eventually water started to disappear in between the baseboard and the floor by the bathroom. People on the 3rd floor came knocking to tell us they had water coming thru their ceiling. Don't expect them to answer your call out of their business hours monday to Fridayfrom 10am to 6pm. Other than this, the apartament layout is nice and great location.

Great location; needs some attention

The location of this apartment is very conveniently located in Madrid, a couple of blocks from Gran Via on a quiet street with several cafes and a couple of convenient groceries. Though we were not met personally as they were busy, we were quickly assisted via phone to help us get into the apartment (had an error on our app with the lock of the door). The apartment's pictures are fairly accurate and though small it was fine for our family of four. We knew it was going to be quite cozy. It looks like it has been renovated and there are some beautiful touches with the wood beams and artwork around the apartment; however, whoever is cleaning the apartment is doing the bare minimum. The bathroom needs some attention as there is quite a bit of mold in the shower and behind sink (an easy fix) and probably would not be an issue if cleaned regularly and thoroughly. Though we did not cook, but one night where we heated up pizza, all of the plates that we took out were dirty and needed to be washed. Counters also needed to be wiped down and floors swept in areas. Simple things that could easily be tended to. Additionally, it looked like the building was being worked on recently so when we arrived in the lobby with our luggage deciding whether to try to fit in elevator (extremely small; one to two people only) there were holes in the wall of the building and unfortunately several roaches on walls and floor crawling around. A little off-putting, but there were none in apartment.

The host is excellent and very responsive. Unfortunately there are some items that guests should know in advance. The apartment is on the 4 floor. There is an elevator but it didn’t work all the time we were there. Not sure is it’s ever worked so be ready to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs. There is a washer but it too doesn’t work. When we arrived the dirty linens were left there from the previous guests and they were never picked up during our stay. There was a bag of garbage from the previous guests that was left as well. We called the host and the cleaning lady came, picked up the garbage bag and tugged the dirty linens under the bed. The apartment is in a great location conveniently located within walking distance to everything.
