The reason we use the directions we have is because people drive very fast on route 60 and we find it safer to turn around in the auto shop parking lot rather than slowing down to turn into the driveway from the main road. We have tried to put a larger sign up at the entrance but the DOH forced us to take it down. They compromised with the sunflower we use as a land marker that has been reported as very helpful. We have replaced half the deck already with the remainder scheduled to be replaced this fall. It is structural strong but does have cosmetic issues. The walkway is going to be replaced then as well. The trash is generally picked up by me and that was a rare oversight on my part that I apologize for. I tried to come as quickly as I could after getting back in town from a vacation. The driveway was regraded last Fall with new gravel. We do that every 2 years, however, it is a remote cabin in the woods with a private driveway. One of the trade offs for its privacy. I had a note about low clearance cars in the description before booking and I just updated to reflect that for motorcycles.
