What a lovely property and very clean “cabin” to stay in. We were in town for a tournament at All Star Village (15 minutes away) and opted for this private pond side retreat in the mountains. It was a much welcome break from suburban life. My kids loved seeing the cows every day and fishing in the pond. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is stunning and so peaceful. It was a nice retreat for my husband and my 8 year old son as our 12 year old played at ASV. Our son absolutely loved feeding the cows and fishing in the pond. The hosts were always available to answer our questions and the unit was very clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Great relaxing spot to stay

This was the perfect location for us considering that we were visiting for the Cooperstown Baseball Tournament. Cozy, clean and in a beautiful tranquil setting. We would absolutely stay again.

Perfect for Baseball Tournament

My son was playing in the tournament at All Star Village. My place was perfect to head back to between games, make meals and get a little work done. It was just me staying, but it would also be great with your spouse and kid. Loved the peacefulness of the property and patio by the pond.

Convenient location, clean

Stayed here while my son played in a baseball tournament. This was a great location...not too far from the ballpark. Close to Walmart and restaurants. Clean. Lovely setting! Would stay here again.

Wonderful rental for a baseball week!

Had such an amazing time! House was so clean, comfortable and well stocked with anything you could need. My son played at ASV and we were very close by. Beautiful scenery and so tranquil! My son came back after the last game and was able to enjoy a home cooked meal and fish while I cooked. Believe me you will love you experience there.

July 4th weekend getaway

Beautiful setting, very quiet. Seems quite new. In great condition. Convenient to many stores but you still feel like you are tucked away in the woods. The kitchen is adequate but not a lot of counter top space if you plan to cook. Perhaps could add a rolling island to accommodate this. All amenities were very good. Well appointed.

Beautiful gem in Cooperstown area

Finding this gem truly made our week in Cooperstown a special one! Nestled in the hill of a beautiful farm in Oneonta, NY this immaculate home is the perfect place for families looking for an alternative to hotels in the area. Nearly new everything, including lovely furnishings and appliances and not to mention the beautiful views! Wifi, tv's, grill, firepit and a stocked lake for fishing round out this gorgeous property. Located so close to shopping and All-Star Village. Thank you to the Howard's for a gracious welcome and comfortable stay!

Hidden Paradise

We were in town for Cooperstown tournament for my older son. We were looking for a place we could relax in between games and events with our two year old. This place was amazing!!! Private pond for my older son to fish and roaming cows that my 2 year old fed every morning. Owners were extremely responsive and they thought of every detail to ensure you had a great experience. We plan to return again very soon. Thanks !!

Cooperstown family vacation

The house is in the country but very close to town. The Walmart is just 5 minutes down the road from the house. The owners are very nice people, they were extremely helpful. The boys enjoyed the fishing pond next to the house. The house has two out door fire pits next to the pond which made for some nice family evenings around the fire pit making s’mores. We enjoyed our stay much nicer than staying in one of the local hotels for our Cooperstown visit. My son played at the All Star Village, the house was about 15 minutes away.

Beautiful Landscape

We really enjoyed our stay. The inside was clean, airy and fresh. The outside was spectacular. The kids loved waking up to the cows, and fishing on the dock. The kitchen was stocked, the bathroom had fresh towels, and the beds had nice bedding. The farm house was a quick 12 minute drive to all-star village as well. We definitely would stay there again.

Great get-away for Cooperstown All Star Village families!

This is a beautiful location for Cooperstown All Star Village families. Our son stayed in the Village with his team for the week while the rest of our family stayed here. The owners were very friendly and easily accessible. The property is beautifully landscaped with its own fishing pond and views of the mountains in the distance. The cows were amusing to watch each day as they migrated to locations near and far from the home. We also spotted wild turkeys and groundhogs. I felt like we were "glamping" because we had the best of both worlds - outdoor activities such as fishing at the pond and campfires under the stars. Yet we slept, cooked, and showered very comfortably indoors. It's a 15 minute drive to the All Star Village. Other properties are closer but this was worth the drive for comfort and charm.
