Long Beach Family Vacation

Very nice property. Quiet and relaxing with nice deck area and extra activities for the kids crabbing. Short drive to LBI beaches, mini golf, restaurants and other activities.

Week at beach

Property was exactly as advertised, house was clean and well-stocked, plenty of room, quick drive to LBI, kids loved using the kayak on the canal. Good communication with Patti, who is 100% committed to your stay being successful.

Good value and we really enjoyed the more carefree environment of Beach Haven West than staying on the island. Less people, no traffic, everything you need is within 5 minutes (unlike the island). Mud City right next door. The Boatyard down the road may be one of the better bar locales in all of Jersey. Lots of real people everywhere - fisherman, boaters. The house had lots of space and comfort, loved the porches, loved the quiet end of lagoon, loved the large tubes and kayak provided. Just a great stress reliever!

Family vacation

We had a great week with family. This house was set up to make our week amazing. Being on the end allowed us to let our kids jump in the water without having to worry about any boat traffic. We really enjoyed our stay.

This property was Amazing! Patti was so easy to get a hold of, and was easy to work with. We enjoyed everything this property had to offer. My family was very impress with this house!! We would definitely consider returning in the future.

Family getaway

The home and the location were perfect for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the home had everything we needed with more then enough room for all 8 of us. We enjoyed fishing and crabbing off of the dock and the canoe was a great addition even though we didn’t use it because of the weather.

Beautiful home, even the awful weather didn't dampen our stay

We reserved this lovely home for a week. Originally planning to stay for a family wedding, we extended our stay for a few days more for a vacation. Beautiful home, extremely well-stocked kitchen, and quiet neighborhood. Unfortunately for us, Mother Nature decided to wham us with cruddy weather (There was rain. A lot of rain.), so our plans for BBQs every night were cancelled. But the home was comfortable, and TBH, the sound of the rain was soothing so our plans for a RELAXING vacation was not cancelled. We hope to return to this home at a later time, and this time, we want to be able to use the kayak the owners graciously offered us (we watched videos so we are positive we won't capsize), BBQ, and spend a lot of time walking around the neighborhood.We didn't want to bother the owners, but when we did contact them for even a slight issue, they responded quickly. We highly recommend this home and the owners!

Experience Beach Haven West!

My family and I stayed I in this spacious home in July! We have been coming to LBI for many years but never stayed on the lagoon side. A stones throw from Ship Bottom beach and all the activities in Beach Haven. My two young teen grandchildren so enjoyed this new experience fishing, craning right outside on the dock. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook a great meal. We would love to stay at this house again!

Slice of paradise!

This house went above all expectations! It’s nestled into one of the premier areas of Beach Haven West. Quick drive to LBI and an even faster boat ride through the lagoon into the bay. Super family friendly neighborhood with lots going on! Perfect house for friends and family to stay comfortably with plenty of space for outdoor entertainment. The house was immaculately clean and furnished better than most shore houses I’ve stayed in. 2.5 bathrooms made getting 6 adults ready quick and painless! The owner was communicative and detailed leaving us with no guessing games! We definitely did not want to leave and we will most certainly be back next year! Thank you Patti and family for a wonderful vacation! Best, Morgan

Home for Christmas

My parents, brother, and niece all came home to NJ for the week of New Year. We all decided to rent a home in our old neighborhood so we could be close to the rest of our extended family and friends. The home was in a great location, extremely clean, and had great amenities throughout. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed by the owners quickly and there was always a solution given if needed. The beds were all comfortable and the home really had enough space to where we didn’t feel like we were constantly on top of each other. The outdoor decks were great when you needed a breath or wanted to stargaze at night. Clear winter nights are the perfect setting for that A couple things to note just for heads up purposes is that the water dispenser in the fridge door doesn’t work so bring some bottled water if you aren’t ok with tap water. The water from the tap was all I drank and it was totally fine. Also, the stand alone chair that is in the living room pictures is no longer there. So, if you have a bigger group, plan on someone sitting at the dining table or one of the bar stools at the kitchen island if you’re planning a tv/movie night, etc. You’re not far from restaurants, grocery stores, etc. You’re only a quick ride to Long Beach Island or a 45 minute ride to Atlantic City.I definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable location and great amenities.

Perfect vacation spot!

The house was perfect for our family! The upper balcony was great for sunbathing and the lower covered balcony was great for morning coffee drinking. The bedrooms and living areas were spacious. It’s close to stores for anything you may need. Just pack up the car with your beach stuff and park at ship bottom beach in minutes. A few more minutes drive and you’re at fantasy island.

We are returning guests and love everything about this house. The owners take care of the house and have everything you need for a perfect vacation. As boatowners, having the lagoon is a big plus.

Great shore rental!

This property is great if you like the water. We had plenty of room for our 22ft boat, 9 ft blow up float and a SUP. The house is light and roomy. The kitchen is fully stocked and is perfect if you like to cook! We are repeat renters and plan on coming back next year. The owners respond quickly when needed. Love this vacation home.

Open first floor layout and quiet cul-de-sac spot on lagoon makes our home special. NO BOAT traffic is a very special amenity for relaxing outside and swimming safely. Two full decks offering full sun and full shade is PERFECT for all our guest.
