Nice property but it’s definitely seen better days. On the plus side, the apartment is spacious, has covered parking and has newer, well-functioning appliances. On the downside, the back porch floor was covered in water as there was an old seal in the window. The bathroom door/lock combo was hanging on by a single loose screw. One of the sliding doors wouldn’t lock properly so maintenance had to come and fix it. The hallways of the building are crumbling a bit and detract from the overall appearance. I asked 2 or 3 times for a cutting board but received no reply. That was a bit frustrating as it shouldn’t be that hard to communicate with guests, especially over something fairly minor. I ended up cutting on the counter as there was no cutting board in sight. Other than this, we had a fine stay. However if we were to come back to Madeira, I think we’d choose a spot right in Funchal.

Casa bella e spaziosa con tutto il necessario compreso lavatrice e lavastoviglie. Bello il giardino dove si può cenare in tranquillità.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in angenehmer Lage.

Ideal für Ausflüge. Sehr schöner Blick auf Christo Rei. Der Zustand der Immobilie ist gut.. Man fühlt sich wohl in der Wohnung! Der private Garagenplatz ist natürlich ein kleiner Luxus! Die Küche war gut eingerichtet. Leider nur 2 Geschirrtücher für 5 Tage. Die Wohnung ist schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist etwas klein. Leider keine separate Toilette. Für 4 Personen etwas umständlich. Der Check-in war einfach und verlief perfekt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Verwaltungsteam war schnell und unkompliziert. Fazit: Die Wohnung ist zu empfehlen!

Dejligt sted

Det var et fint ophold. Tæt på stranden. En dejlig krævende gå tur op og ned.Lejligheden er lidt kold, men det er nok praktisk om sommeren, så bare tænd de små radiatorer fra start.Der er også en lille fin gåtur til dagligvarer og nogle restauranter

Großzügige Ferienwohnung in guter Lage

Die Wohnung bietet ausreichend Platz für 5 Personen. Die Betten sind bequem. Für Ausflüge nach Funchal und in den Inselosten ist die Lage sehr gut. In ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß ist man im Ortskern mit verschieden Geschäften, Cafes und Restaurants. Der Sitzplatz auf der Terrasse ist allerdings für 5 Personen etwas klein. Die in der Anzeige abgebildeten Liegen waren nicht vorhanden. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist eher spartanisch und lädt nicht zum Kochen ein. Absolutes Lowlight: eine lebendige Kakerlake in der Küche auf der Arbeitsplatte, zwei tote am Boden.

Dear Heinz, Thank you for your review, unfortunately cockroaches are a normal sight in most of the city. Finding dead one means the pest control is working, the enter mostly thought open windows as they do not survive indoors due to pest control. We hope to see you soon in Madeira.

Urlaub pur

Die Lage ist prima. Alles was man braucht, ist in der Nähe. Der Blick von der Terrasse Richtung Meer ist großartig. Der Garten macht es mit allem was da blüht richtig schön. Mir war gar nicht klar, dass sich der Stellplatz für das Auto in der gut befahrbaren Garage der kleinen Wohnanlage befindet. Umso besser! Die geräumige Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet (Geschmackssache) und gut ausgestattet. Von hier aus ist man schnell in Funchal wohnt aber sehr ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war bestens. Ein- und Auschecken ging easy und kontaktlos. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!! Gerne wieder!!

wonderful local village and stunning views

thank you for the best local Madeiran experience. the views from the flat were lovely, although a bit cold at night without heating, there were plenty of blankets to cozy up with. limited toilet paper and hot water but clean and spacious flat. well equipped kitchen, despite the leaky french press, it was great to cook breakfast and not worry about cleanup with the dishwasher. beautiful garden perfect for sunbathing and relaxing with a book.

Amazing houve, lots of space, but no mobile phone network anywere, and the Wi-Fi was slow, and only could get a signal no the living room.

Accomodation in Garajau

Good service , very reactive and efficient . Appliances in the kitchen ( e.g hood extractor ) as well as the bathroom equipment would require to be changed .

very very nice

We have a perfect holiday. Madeira was very beautiful. We make a lot of walking 🚶 trails. The appartment was also very nice. The rooms are big and the garden have a nice view on the ocean. We used every the garage for the car. Thanks for the stay on Madeira.

Lovely apartment in beautiful location although you definitely need a car. Filipa was really helpful and very friendly. I would love to come again but not at that time of year. We were FREEZING in the evening and there was no heater which I think is a real necessity. Also TV is only in Portuguese - fine if like us you speak Portuguese, but very difficult if you don't.
