UTV trip

Had a great stay. Perfect location for us. Excellent parking with plenty of room for two trailers, trucks, and side by sides. Updated and clean rooms and great layout for evenings.

Fishing trip

Very convenient location for our trip. Two bait shops, grocery store walking distance. located on the water. The house was nicely appointed and equipped and enough parking for 3 boats and trailers.

Vacation in Tomahawk

We had a short family vacation at this VRBO in Tomahawk. We had 3 sets of adults and 2 kids. The 4 bedrooms worked out perfectly for us, everyone had their own room. At first I was concerned that once the boys went to sleep, we would disturb them while we were playing games in the dining area but the doors on their room kept them from hearing us at all. They slept very well! We loved that it had a dock so that the boys could fish. And there were lots of fish for them to catch here! Plenty of places very close to get bait, next door and across the street! Grocery store convenient to the house. Nice kitchen as well as a gas grill to make some of our meals. We had a great family time here! I guess the only complaint I might have was that there was no door on the bathroom of the master suite. You had to shut the door to the bedroom for privacy, which was easy enough to do, just a little different.

fun but not what we expected

We were not expecting the vacation home to be in the middle of town. The pictures made it look like it was lake front (which it was) but we were thinking it was away from town not smack dab in the middle.

Convenience 😘

The cabin was very clean, yard needed a little help.. Parking was ample but other trucks and cars??? were parking there and made it hard for us to move our vehicles.. very spacey for our group, did not take advantage of grills and fire pit.. mosquitoes were out😬 the k cup coffee pot, didn’t work with the first pod I put in got all grounds, .we let them know right away and they offered to come and fix which was very nice, but we had another pot there Overall I think the convenience was our star point 👍thank you

Great location!! Plenty of Space

The lodge is very spacious. Location is right in the middle of town very close to street. Street noises were a bit of a nuisance for all when it came time for sleep but a noise machine would more than likely eliminate that issue in the future. Walked to the Kwahamot ski show and it was so cool!

Exactly as advertised, but even better.

The property is easily accessible, clean, inviting and comfortable. It is along a two way street but that doesn’t mean there is much noise. It’s a very quiet street. There is a grocery across the street, activity rentals literally a walk in each direction. I visited a cute little garden center and an authentic Wisconsin cheese shoppe. Will try and reserve again next year!

We loved it

We had a fantastic stay. The house is in a great location in the middle of town and within walking distance of so many things. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen was also very well equipped. The private dock was so nice for the guys to be able to just hop in the boat and go.

Unique Location

This place has it all. We were not sure to think of the location as it is right in the middle of everything in town and off the beaten path for lake access. It was very well stocked with everything you need. The beach towels, AC, and laundry were a plus. The boys enjoyed paddling around by the dock in search of the elusive "largemouth bass" and the girls enjoyed walking down to Dairy Queen for sweet treats. Mom's and Dad's enjoyed Outboards bar and grill across the street if you know what I mean... We enjoyed fishing, tubing, and boating on Lake Mohawksin. On one side of the cabin you were private and had the "lake feel". On the other side of the cabin it had a vibrant, downtown feel. We walked over to the ski show and they also had live music in the park with free burgers and brats! We would definitely book again.

Great Lake Mohawksin Stay

This property is in a great location in Tomahawk. Everything is near it, Grocery store, restaurant, bait shops, and two boat ramps. Peaceful neighbors with no other noise aside from traffic which isn’t bad at all. None at night and not really noticeable in the day time. Plenty of great spots to fish on the lake. We have fish Mohawksin for years but even if it’s your first time it has a bunch of fish. Dave at Aquatic Arts is super nice and helpful we always go there. Plenty of room in the cabin. Super clean and has everything you need. Cable wasn’t hooked up but we managed with our laptop. Would stay again and recommend it to others.

Clean and Setup for Everything We Needed

Overall, we had a wonderful experience here. It was very clean and had enough beds for our whole family to sleep! The location close to the store and water ski show so that was great. When I booked it I did not realize it was on the main road but turned out to not be a problem. You could not hear the cars from the rooms. Would definitely re book again!

Good location if you're looking for access to lake/river + closeness to businesses/downtown Tomahawk

The place was spacious and clean and fully stocked kitchen. All towels and paper products provided. Two full baths easily accommodated my family. Walking distance to grocery store, Kwik Trip, bait shops, and Bar/Grill. Right on a main street through town. A nice stay right in an inlet water way with a dock to tie up a boat ot launch a kayak.

This property used to be a model home and used as a business. We purchased the property and made it back into a home setting with Northwoods decor for the lodge feel. We thought it would be a great place to rent close to all that Tomahawk has to offer!

If you want to be walking distance to many things to do, this property is perfect. If you have older kids that don't all want to do the same activities, this will give you plenty of things to walk to. Rent a bike, boat, snowmobile, or kayak; fish from the dock; catch a water ski show or Music in the Park; walk to Dairy Queen, two bait stores, bar/restaurants, full grocery store, gas stations; near the Hiawatha trail and on the ATV/snowmobile trail. Most streets are OPEN to ATV! Lake Mohawksin is 2,000 acres on the Wisconsin River and is excellent for fishing and water skiing. Many parks with public beaches, nature picnic areas and good boat landings.
