Casa frente al mar con gran terraza y muelle. WiFi, sin televisión por cable

Encantadora casita con vistas al agua. Tenemos una gran terraza fuera de la casa y una cubierta adicional sobre el agua con una mesa de limpieza de peces y agua fresca. Gran muelle, reconstruido en 2013, tendrá capacidad para 4 embarcaciones. La electricidad para un barco está disponible en el muelle.
Compartes el muelle y el cuarto de servicio con Bob y Lisa, que tienen una casa flotante atada allí.
Lavadero tiene lavadora y secadora y un segundo baño. Trastero sin calefacción debajo de la casa tiene espacio para 2 durmientes más.
El baño individual tiene ducha y el baño separado tiene 2 lavabos. Sábanas y toallas están surtidas. Un dormitorio tiene cama king, el otro una reina.
Remodelada en 2011, la cocina tiene estufa de gas propano, microondas, mucho espacio en el mostrador y está completamente amueblada. Los armarios están llenos, y todo lo que necesita traer son los productos perecederos, su traje de baño y su cepillo de dientes.
Instalaciones de lanzamiento de botes o alquiler de botes en Sugar Barge Marina están cerca, a 5 minutos en coche.
La casa tiene una estufa de propano para calentar en invierno y ventiladores de techo para el verano. Está bien aislado. Barbacoa de propano y gran mesa de patio en la cubierta están disponibles para su uso. El espacio de estacionamiento está debajo de la casa en el camino de entrada y el patio.
Esquí acuático o paseos en bote: estamos a 10 minutos de agua rápida y se encuentra al lado de Emerald Point Marina. El lanzamiento está disponible en Sugar Barge Marina, a 5 minutos. Alquiler de barcos también está disponible allí.

Great place to stay while visiting our daughter in Oakley. We were worried about no air conditioning but it got so cool at night we were very comfortable.

The accommodations were very comfortable. We were able to move throughout the house with ease and relax after a long drive. The house had everything we needed to make our stay complete. We were able to use the appliances with ease and everything was clean including the restroom and bedrooms. The best feature for us was the dock which was only a few feet from the house and gave us access to the river for fishing.

Great for people like to fish

People live on the houseboat at the dock so it makes people feel uncomfortable using to dock. The bed we slept in was old and saggy and hurt my back. It’s great for a fishing cabin but not for entertaining inside, but great porch for entertainment.

Sweet little home

We had a very nice stay at Cathy and Ron's place. Went with my brother, nephew, and two bass boats. Great place to get away! Nice and clean! Perfect kitchen with plenty of room for cooking with a cool island. Two bedrooms with nice queens. I slept on the living room hardwood floor with a few blankets. There was plenty of room for the two boats which was a blessing. Also there was lots of room for two trucks and two trailers. One of the best features of this property was the fish cleaning station which came in so handy. I had my nephew hold the water hose while I cleaned the stripers. I'm sure you will have a great stay at this diamond on the delta. Thanks for the memories Cathy and Ron! Darren

Sugar Barge

The property is located on a quiet street next to the marina. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Our hosts were quick to respond to our questions and accommodating. Downside was the decks and furniture were dirty with lots of cobwebs.

Lovely home on the water with everything you need!

We had a lovely family vacation in this cozy spot on the water. The heat wave was rough with no A/C but Cathy warned us ahead of time so we were ready with floaties and fans. My son and daughter both caught their first fish off the dock- we were so excited! Little blue fins- 16 total by the end of the day. The house had everything we needed- plenty of towels, dishes etc. Bob, who lives on the house boat checked on us a few times. Great hosts and location! We need to go back sans heat wave!

Relaxing

The place was so wonderful! We love how it has a dock so we can bring our boat. It was nice to get up and get on our boat and go. The place was cozy, felt like we were in a cabin. The host answered quick and bob was really kind. Will definitely book again to this place!

Great place to stay at the Delta!

This house is comfortable with a lovely view, great dock and close to fast water. The owners were flexible with early check-in, and the house stayed cool in spite of hot outdoor temperatures. Highly recommend!

Bethel House

Had a great experience at this house. The house is very comfortable and Cathy (owner) was great to work with. The property manager who lives on boat on dock was helpful and always there for any questions. Would highly recommend this house.

Father & Son Fishing Trip

This was our first stay at the "Waterfront House". We were impressed with the cleanliness and and easy "check-in". Bob was very helpful and cordial during the entirely of our stay! We really enjoyed our time fishing....our only complaint was the "catching"!! Fishing was tough, but we enjoyed our time at the Delta. We plan to return in the near future.

The best delta vacation rental... Period

Just my opinion and maybe I am biased but if you are into delta boating/fishing like we are then there is no better place to stay. Your own private slip for the the boat right out the back door. Quick access to the the San Jauquin side, Franks Tract and a plethora of adjacent sloughs and only 30-40 to Pittsburgh and Susiun bay if you want to try for sturgeon. The house is super cozy and clean with a new propane stove to keep you warm in the winter, a gas stove and well stocked kitchen so don't bring a bunch of pots and pans they're already there. The huge deck, with a gas grill, faces the water where you can stare out and enjoy the wildlife including playfull sea lions, beavers, otters, Sand Hill Cranes, pelicans and many other species of fowl. The neighborhood is nice and quiet so if your a party animal go somewhere else. Dogs are aloud which is a big deal for people like us who consider our canine buddies as part of the family. Oh and did I mention that the whole reservation process is a breeze, totally stress free. This was our 3rd stay at this property and we will definitely be back, quite frankly I'd love to live there. Bob and Lisa, the property managers, are close by and are super cool folks. They are happy to help if you might need it but you won't need help because everything is in perfect workin order at this place. I really could go on but I'll end by saying thanks again Cathy and thanks again Bob and Lisa. 5 stars all the way, I can't wait until next time.

Fishing weekend

We had a great time on our fishing weekend, the house was located in an area close to where we wanted to fish , , and having a dock to leave the boat at was great. The house lived up to its expectations and was very comfortable and had all the amenities. I would highly recommend renting this house.

We have enjoyed this house as a weekend getaway, then as a vacation home and our kids grew up waterskiing here. Now the grandkids are enjoying it, too. We remodeled and upgraded the house in 2009 and and rebuilt the dock in 2013. It now has all the comforts we need.

Less than 2 hours from the Bay Area, it was close enough to come for a weekend and far enough away to really relax and forget about work. The neighbors are friendly if you want to walk around and chat or they will leave you alone if you don't want to go out and meet them.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It is a quiet, relaxing place to forget about the stress of work or the rest of your problems. Close to small towns if you want to run in to a movie or a big grocery store and we have small bars, restaurants, and boating facilities close by if you need them. You can walk along the levee and see the unique houses and boats. Overall, it is just a fun place to relax and enjoy.
