This is the second time I've stayed at this condo. Both times were fantastic! The condo is extremely clean and has everything you need for your stay. The view is great and the resort has a lot of different shops and restaurants. The host, Kathy is awesome and if you need anything she is very helpful! I plan on staying here again when I visit Galveston again!

Tom was a great guest! Very easy to communicate with. He had stayed at the resort many years ago. I gave him a few tips of things happening now. Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Kathy was a responsive and proactive host. The view was fantastic and we were moments from the beach. Great adjoining resort hotel with lots of amenities. We look forward to our next visit.

Spacious condo in great location

We stayed here for a dance competition. Everything was well appointed and there is plenty of room for myself and two teen kids. Beautiful view of beach and property and the location can't be beat. Great stay!

Great Hidden Gem

Our stay was wonderful! There was easy access to the beach that wasn’t crowded so it was nice to relax there. The pool at the resort was just as relaxing and getting drinks at the pool and swim up bar was a plus. The restaurants on property were great as well as some of the local restaurants were walkable. I would definitley stay again :)

Elizabeth and her mom were great guests! It was their first time to the San Luis Resort/Condos. I was able to find them a shuttle to take them from the IAH Airport to Galveston and straight to the resort. They bought chairs for the beach and left them for futhure guests. Very sweet! I hope they can return soon!

It made me happy to rent to Michael & his wife with friends. They enjoyed the condo while having a great time at the resort. He offered to stip the beds, but with only staying two nights I wanted them to relax and enjoy. The maid can take care of those type of things. I will be happy to have them back anytime. Kathy

The San Luis Resort has it all. Amazing staff and attention to detail. The condo was perfect. Gorgeous view, has every amenity you could need, is clean, and beautifully designed. We spent the week in Galveston. I choose this property because of the extra amenities onsite. It was totally as advertised and our hosts were extremely easy to correspond with. I don’t know if we will make it back to Galveston but if we do we will stay here!!

I was happy to have my recent guests stay in my condo. This was their first time to stay at the San Luis. I was there when they arrived and got to show Karla around the resort. I tried to clean the condo so they could check in sooner since the maids were coming later in the day. Anything I can do to help my guest I'm happy to do! I hope they return one day!!

Great Birthday Weekend!

We spent a weekend in Galveston celebrating my husbands birthday. This condo fit the occasion perfectly! It is very nicely decorated, and has 2 balconies facing the gulf. We loved watching the pelicans soar by in formation each evening! Having access to the wonderful restaurants within the San Luis resort was very convenient. We did not use the pool, but it looked wonderful. This is a great base for a Galveston getaway. I'd definitely rent again.

Such a beautiful and wonderful condo

The condo and resort were both fantastic! The ocean view was wonderful! The condo had plenty of room and was very clean. The resort has lots of restaurants and shops. You can get room service also. The condo had everything that you need for a comfortable stay. I absolutely loved my vacation! The host, Kathy is so very accommodating and helpful. If you need anything she is there for you. She made my trip very easy. I will for sure be going back to stay at this condo!

Best VRBO host EVER!

Our host Kathy, was quite literally the best host we have ever had, and we have stayed at dozens of properties from coast to coast! She stayed in communication, and even stayed up late to make sure that we were able to check in after a horrendous day of traveling. Her condo was spotless, and exactly as pictured. It had beautiful views and the bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed to eat breakfast in the condo every morning. The only slight issues we had were with the resort itself. On at least 3 separate occasions there were small children in the adults only area. Even sitting on the barstools in the bar area and taking pictures! When we asked, we were told unless they were splashing patrons, they would not be asked to leave. We aren't "haters" of children, but we truly wanted an adults only area. It was very hard to get food out by the pool, as 2 out of the 3 times we ordered, we were told the kitchen never got our order and it took 2 hours to get food. The Grotto was spectacular, and the service was exemplary! Blake's restaurant was great for breakfast and a casual dinner one night. We did try The Steakhouse, but it was our least favorite spot. It tries to be very upscale, pretentious and high class, but failed miserably. We felt it was very expensive for the level of service we received. When drinks were shaken tableside, we were sprayed with the liquid. There were loud small children and people in shorts. Food was just okay. The rest of the resort is beautiful, and having the Essentials store onsite was an added bonus. Short walk across the street to the beautiful beach. As for other dining, we would recommend Number 13 for an amazing steak dinner, and Rudy and Paco's for their synchronized service. We have never seen anything like it, and loved the show. Overall, you could never go wrong with Kathy as your host. Stunning!

My guest were wonderful! We communicated often which was helpful for them coming from out of state. They left the condo items eactly were I asked them to leave everything. Very nice guests indeed. They also took very good care of the condo. They had a few issues with the resort, but I took care of the issues immediately once informed. When my guests come back the resort wants to meet them. I hope they get to return!

So nice!

Really enjoyed my stay despite a lightening strike to the building that knocked out their computer system for 3 days! But owner, Kathy, is amazing. The condo was very comfortable, view was great. Definitely would stay there again!
