We stayed just one night but could easily have stayed longer. The house was impeccably clean, sofa and beds were very comfortable. Communication with host was great, she even accommodated an early check in for us to drop bags in before we went night kayaking. The location couldn’t be beaten.

Perfect location to walking to the beach (10 minute walk). Some decline and inclines to handle, but nothing too stressful. A close, quick walk to the General store for a fresh cup of coffee or chai. Full amenities in the kitchen (utensils, pots/pans, toaster, cutting boards, BBQ tools, etc.) Bathroom had shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and lots of linens. No throw blankets, so bring those to snuggle into on the leather couch.

House was perfect for a little getaway. Location was great… walking distance to the restaurant, general store and beach! Will definitely look into booking again but during better weather.

Fees

The price per night was reasonable and if that is what we paid, I'd stay there again next year for sure. However, the price after the service fee, host fee, and taxes doubled the price! I don't see any reason for a $225 host fee to restock paper towels, toilet paper, and a sponge. Seems excessive to me.

Ocean sounds and views

We needed to get away and take in the ocean. A pre anniversary get away. We love Dillon beach, Tomales, and Point Reyes. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. It was very close to the beach. The bed was comfortable and the house was clean. We picked up some items to make breakfast at the market down the road.

Lovely and quiet. Dillon Beach is a special place, and the quality of our stay made it all the more special. We were able to completely relax and enjoy our beach vacation to the fullest.

A great little place.

The house was clean and well-equipped. The view from the master bedroom was absolutely wonderful. The room also came with the couch for viewing the sea while I read. I would love to go back.

Beautiful weekend getaway in early October

Property was easy to access. It was clean & had plenty of cookware. Property is close to general store that has a restaurant & a coffee shop. The house is a very short walk to the beach that’s dog friendly. The maTer bedroom and living room has ocean views that are beautiful to wake up to. The house is comfortable & updated. The only difficulty is the parking if you have 2 cars, but 2 small crossover/SUVs were able to fit outside the allocated parking at the front of the house.

Quiet cottage

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and all the necessities were available. We walked t the beach several times. The property manager was available when I needed him. We would stay there again and tell others.

No electricity. Left stranded.

The worst experience imaginable. We show up to find a week-old PG&E notice that the power to the house has been shut off due to an unsafe electrical panel. Nobody said anything to us. I had inquired the day before about an early check in and was told "no because we have someone staying at the house." We were left stranded with two young children with nothing more than "we will refund your money." No help finding a place to stay from the manager. I had to scramble to find another place because it was getting dark and cold, ending up paying way more for another rental. After finally finding a place with one bar of cell service and an hour on hold with VRBO, the rep said he couldn't do anything for me because I didn't contact them first. I explained the situation - that I could not contact them because I was stranded with two young children in the cold with no cell service and no internet because the power was out. He said the policy is not flexible under any circumstances - you must contact VRBO first. Honestly, the worst treatment by a company and property manager I can imagine. To let us go all the way out there with two young children and not say a word and leave us completely stranded.

A lovely cottage

We stayed for three nights while attending a family wedding nearby. The cottage is very clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped. We purchased salmon locally and gilled it on the barbecue provided. The bed was comfortable and if you leave the blinds open you will have a lovely view of the waves in the morning. We would not hesitate to book the cottage again.
