Perfect Retreat!

We found the cottage perfect for us! It was in a great location and the back yard was very secure so we could leave our dog when going to places we couldn't take her. We have a very relaxing stay thanks to staying in this delightful cottage! We would love to come back and bring the family!

Great property

My two teens and I had a great time at the house! It was very clean and had all the ‘mod cons’ we could need. Very well equipped kitchen. The games and beach accessories available were a bonus and were well used. We would stay again!

Great property, well maintained

We had a great stay over the NY period. The house was really well set up for a family with small kids and so close to the beach! Lots of linen towels for everyone, and the kitchen had everything we could think of. Great communication from Geoff. Will definitely consider again.

Great Christmas stay

This accommodation exceeded all expectations. The weather was a mere bonus. This is the place you walk into and it covers all you could imagine in your own holiday house. The thoughtful touches reminding you of the items you forgot but did not need to worry about. The activities/games included made for a special trip to a childhood Christmas with loads of fun. Thank you for the opportunity to stay.

Very happy with Cottage on Rye

Very happy with the house and everything it had to offer. Not so happy with the garden and outdoor facilities. Grass was long and needed cutting, BBQ was full of mould and outdoor setting at the rear of the property needed a good clean

Beautiful Stay

A beautiful property that had everything we needed. Our fur baby also thoroughly enjoyed the large shady backyard. We have already planned our next stay there!

Comfortable and quiet

Very comfortable, clean house in a quiet neighbourhood. All the amenities needed to feel right at home. Large, shaded backyard for relaxing and great for our pets.

Great family beach accommodation

Thanks Geoff for the stay at your Rye Cottage. We had a relaxing few days. Your property ticked all the boxes - beautiful kitchen, comfortable bedding, dog friendly and just a short walk to the beach and shops. We are looking forward to staying again in January.

Great family getaway

We had a great stay with our 2 children and puppy. We were able to walk to the beach and to get the Blairgowrie shops. Very clean inside and out!

Multipurpose

We stayed as a family of four with 2 young kids. Loved our time here as a base to explore the beaches and coastline of Mornington peninsula. The area is quietly set back away from town. Some parts of the house looked like they hadn't been used for a while but other than that, well recommended.

Fantastic home-away-from-home

The cottage was lovely, providing a great home away from home stay. The location is spectacular, walking distance to the beach and within a leisurely stroll from Blairgowrie Village. The cottage was amazingly equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Our dog Bailey loved the garden. Thank you for a great weekend.

Perfect for a getaway

What a lovely and cosy house!!! It was very well-appointed with all the amenities to ensure our stay was pleasant and warm. The location was ideal, away from the hustle-bustle, but just a short drive to the beach and shops and cafes. The backyard was spacious and our dog loved running around there! Geoff was very pleasant and quick with his responses. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for Mornington Peninsula getaway!

Very well appointed and clean.

Family of 4 comprising 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs. The cottage was spacious, 4 mins walk to the very calm beach that was perfect for our pup and mature dog, backyard was also spacious. Very comfortable and we would return again.

Relaxing at Rye

Facilities are excellent and we enjoyed the chance to recover from a couple of tough days on the Golf Course. We particularly enjoyed the entertainment activities supplied with our rental. Thanks alot, look forward to doing it all again.

Beautifully presented house walking distance to beach

A lovely big house. Spotless and nicely decorated. A very well equipped kitchen (only thing missing was a coffee press/stove top coffeee maker). Peaceful big garden suitable for our dog and ourselves . One street away from beach. We would definitely rent again.

Perfect!

We loved our stay at Cottage on Rye. It was clean, modern and had everything we needed and more. It was perfect but most importantly of all - the pugs loved it! We'll be back soon.
