Una gran sala abierta en el nivel principal es un espacio ideal para entretener y pasar tiempo con la familia mientras cocina. Está convenientemente ubicado cerca de restaurantes locales favoritos, granjas, parches de arándanos y cervecerías. La panadería sueca / Luisa'a Cafe está a 10 minutos a pie. Hay un mínimo de 5 noches desde el 1 de junio hasta el 31 de agosto. Para familias o grupos de 6 invitados o menos (los mismos 6 invitados durante la duración del viaje), se puede acomodar un 10% de descuento.

Otros favoritos como Red Arrow Road House, Greenbush Brewery, Cafe Gulistan (5 minutos en coche), Froehlich's, Dinge's Farm y Journeyman Distillery están a 10 o 15 minutos en coche. Very lovely beach cottage close to the lake! The great room provided a wonderful space for our group to gather and relax, but the layout of the bedrooms also provided some privacy and space when needed. We loved the quiet privacy the wooded lot provided. My dog Max enjoyed long walks along the beach, and around the quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds and a well-stocked kitchen, to boot! Our group agreed this was one of the best cottages we've stayed in, and would definitely stay again. The owner was very helpful and reponsive, and made our check in and out process extremely easy. 10/10!

Wonderful house with lots of space. Well stocked to save you needing to take so much stuff - beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, wagon, games, toys, sports equipment.

Perfect spot to share family time--our group of 9 (ages 2- 73), cooked, cycled, hung out on the beach (rafts and lily pad), and survived a cut throat game of Mexican dominoes and Risk. My son brought a paddle board and showed off his and his pup's skills. Hannah's home is so welcoming, comfortable, plenty of room to spread out, and outside decks are great for quiet reading time. Kitchen is well stocked, everything you could possibly need. It is a lovely walk to a private beach, can't think of a thing that was missing. Contacted host with a few questions and she immediately responded, hope we can return again, thanks Hannah for sharing your beautiful home!

The owner was immediately responsive when I had a question. The property is close to the beach and has the all the things needed for beach fun. The beds and pillows so comfortable like a fine hotel. The bedrooms are on different levels providing a good amount of privacy.

Fantastic Wooded Retreat Walking Distance to the Beach

Hannah's place was better than the photos. The house is tucked into a wooded setting and is so close to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds and pillows and linens are lovely. The living room and dining room are a great size for a group. I cooked a beef stew on a chilly, fall night. Everything I needed in the kitchen was on hand. I would definitely stay here again.

Serene Location & Wonderful Accommodations

Because this house is nestled in the woods, it provides a serene experience with only another home next door on one side and a forest on the other side. The walk to the private beach is about 10 minutes. Very doable and the home owner provides a wagon to help with transporting your belongings down the road to the stairway that leads to the beach. The owner, Hannah, quickly replied to all of my correspondences with helpful details. Her home is welcoming, very clean, and fully equipped with all the necessary accommodations you will need for a lovely stay. I have rented many homes in the nearby areas over the years, and this one is going on my return list. Great home and attentive owner. You won't be disappointed!

A great place to relax

Describing this as a house in the woods is so completely accurate! Even though there are other homes nearby, this has the feel of solitude with quiet and nature all around. There are a fair amount of deer in the woods. The first night two very young deer came nearly to the edge of the screened in porch, looked at us, and slowly walked off with their mother. The home itself is beautifully appointed and has so many kitchen supplies—appliances, dishes, glasses and even spices. It was easy to prepare meals in. There are plenty of kids, toys, mountains of books of all kinds, and lots of board games and puzzles to help keep evenings interesting. We did find the walk to the beach a little strenuous for older family members. Less the distance of the walk than the number of stairs. But there are several other choices nearby and those that did partake of the beach truly enjoyed it. The beach is quiet and clean, and the sand is very fine. All of the rooms are large and roomy. You have the feeling of being able to spread out and everyone feels comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Girls Weekend trip

We booked the Harbert home for a family girls weekend. This was the perfect spot for us to all meet for a weekend together. The house is very nice and met our needs perfectly. Hannah was very easy to work with and she provided really great information about things to do and places to eat in the area. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. It was so nice to have beach towels and chairs available for our use. The beach was a little more difficult to get to than I thought based on the property description. It is just a short walk but the stairs do not go all the way to the beach. You have to go down a mildly steep sand dune to get to the beach. The climb up the dune on the way back was challenging for some in our group. The good part is the beach is beautiful and we all enjoyed it, even found some cool beach glass! I would have given 5 stars, but a few things were not ideal. There are no window treatments on the windows in the upper level bedrooms or bathroom so don't expect to sleep in. Also with no shower curtain in the bathroom it was a little uncomfortable to shower at night in a bathroom with no window treatments. Unfortunately the air conditioning went out the second night we were there. Hannah was very responsive to my communications about this but was not able to address it until the next day late in the day. It was a pretty uncomfortable night sleeping. Luckily it wasn't excessively hot so we managed. She did bring fans when she got there to address the issue which was a big help. It would have been helpful if there were fans available earlier or even if there were ceiling fans. These things happen, just a bummer that it happened while we were there. Overall, the house is fantastic and really works well for big groups. The kitchen/great room/porch provide great areas for all to be together for a meal, to play games or just enjoy being together. The area was very nice and we appreciated Hannah's recommendations and that she was so easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!

Hi Julie, Thank you for the review and feedback! It was wonderful having your group at the house. I am so sorry about the AC. I was not aware of the problem until Saturday - the same evening I had the repair person up, and I'm glad it finally got fixed and worked later that night! Since we own the woods behind the house and no homes are visible behind us, we've always felt comfortable without window treatments in the Master bathroom and bedroom. Your feedback is noted however and my husband wouldn't mind the sun being blocked from the master bedroom during the morning too ;) The second floor bedroom does have black-out shades for future renters looking to sleep-in and the ground floor bedroom stays very dark as well. I've left the two standing fans at the house and will explore adding ceiling fans. Thank you again!! Cheers, Hannah

Perfect holiday stay

Super convenient pet friendly home near the beach on the woods, we stayed for the week and hope to be be back soon. Host was informative, responsive, and very sweet, we felt like we were staying at a relative's home.

Beautiful house

The house was modern and very spacious with great appliances (especially the stove) and with all the amenities that we could have asked for. The beach was a short walk away and very nice, we practically had the beach to ourselves. The only con was that we found out on the second to last day that there was a mat available, my grandkids would have enjoyed using it at the beach. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Harbert Cottage in the woods

We enjoyed waking up to sunlight steaming through the trees outside our bedroom window. The beach access was good about a 10 minute walk through the woods. The house had plenty of room to spread out and it was clean. Hannah was a great host.

Family Escape

Beautiful place in the woods!

We stayed at Hannah’s place with family and extended family, 11 people altogether. There was plenty of room for everyone, enough bathrooms, and lots of towels - much appreciated! The house came with everything we needed for a wonderful relaxing beach vacation, including beach chairs, umbrellas, games and activities for rainy days. The location is perfect and the beach is close enough to back and forth several times during the day to go back to the house for lunch, etc. The kitchen was well equipped, including two outdoor grills, and we enjoyed some great family dinners there. Lots to do in the neighborhood as well. The Swedish Bakery was our favorite! Thank you for all the suggestions and for your hospitality, Hannah. We would love to come back for another vacation in the future.

Great Family Gathering Spot

We loved the "in the woods" feel with access to a beach! The house accommodated our family wonderfully. The big screened in porch was so peaceful! Our grand children are still telling their parents they want to go back to the beach house.

Girl’s Weekend

This is our second year staying at this property for our fall girls weekend and we love it. There are 13 of us and we all fit comfortably. The house is equipped with everything we needed and is in a beautiful location. Close to the beach, heavily wooded, and close restaurants and wineries. Hannah is easy to communicate with and very respond to questions.

No heat No flashlights No sanitary coffee maker No lighter No wash clothes? No working soaker tub No true management And, again, NO HEAT. Left after one night, burning both cash and precious time. What a shame.
