Experience Vieques with a local vibe!

This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full kitchen, dining and living area house will be your hub while making the most of your visit. Enjoy the backyard with a covered terrace, outside sitting area, grill, games, screened gazebo, outside shower, a beautiful mural from a local artist and soon- a small pool! We highly recommend this property for 6 guests (adults, young ones, or kids). We have a high quality full-size futon , perfect for 2 kids, young people, and small adults.

A 4-minute walk will have you at Esperanza Beach. Enjoy the walk by el Malecón, some snorkeling by the old pier, restaurants, bars and gift shops. Most bio bay tour companies do the pick up at this location.

It's recommended to rent a car, so you can move freely between the terminal, the house and all there is to explore in Vieques. If you are interested, we have a partnership with AquiCoqui Rental for a Ford Bronco. Details available upon request.

IMPORTANT NOTE: we just noticed that VRBO AI added the property as a Water Front Property with Ocean Views, THIS IS NOT ACCURATE. VRBO/Expedia are working on it. The location is the right one, but in front of the property we have a laggon and is not visible. It is covered by mangroves.

Traveling to Vieques:
FERRY: Ferry leaves from Ceiba. You can buy the tickets online. The page is Puerto Rico Ferry. Buy it in advance!
PLANE: Search to VQS from SJU or SIG

Check in starts at 3PM. Checkout is at 11AM or before.
We don't allow early check-in or late checkouts, nor personal belongings before of after. This because we are one of the few properties that allows one-night reservations. Our cleaners need time to prepare the property between reservations.

Note: Hot water, only in the shower.

We have security cameras on the exterior for your safety. Front door ring doorbell. Patio security camera (over the backyard exterior door)

The home was clean and ready to go when we arrived, instructions for check in were clear. It was a little smaller than I expected but we didn’t spend much time inside other than to sleep. Walked to th food trucks and beach, drove down the road for our bio-bay kayak adventure and visited a black sand and white sand beach. Incredible time in Vieques

Lovely home....

Great AC in home. Very clean. 3 min walk to beautiful beach. The hotel El Blok right around the corner has a great restaurant bar and roof top! Great food trucks alone the way(within walking distance). Im making a suggestion not a complaint. The beach chairs provided are more like chairs you would take to see a baseball game at a park, they should be more beach appropriate chairs(like the tommy bahama chairs) but of course the less expensive version. I would definitely be renting again and recommending to friends and family.

Steps from the beach

This little bungalow was perfect for our family for a one day excursion from the mainland. Steps away from the beach and one minute from the bio bay tours. Do not miss one of those. Absolutely magical night.

This property was just what we needed. Beds were comfortable! Outdoor area was so nice. We played corn hole. The outdoor shower was also fantastic. Neighborhood was quiet and super close to all the restaurants and shops. Walking to the beautiful beaches was also great. We would 100% recommend to friends. Esperanza is so quaint.

Little help

We couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV, and assumed it was the remote batteries, but we could not find any. We called to see if there were any on the premises, but there were not, so the owner came over and replaced them! Thanks for being prompt. Didn't understand what the ear plugs were for, but then we did after walking around.

Easy convenient stay

The property is a Puerto Rican style home. Very clean with everything one could need. It is in a great location. It is not luxury or anything but adequately appointed, safe, and easy. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The house worked out well for our group for one night. We really only used it for sleeping and showering after bio bay tour that night. It slept 6 although the futon was not the best bed for one couple.

Amazing location and deal

Robert was a wonderful host with a well appointed home in a location just steps from the beach, Esperanza and Bio Bay pick up. We especially loved the back yard for chilling out. He was very responsive and we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend

Perfect location

If you are going to do the bio bay tour it is the perfect location. Walkable to tour pickups, grocery stores and restaurants. Very island vibe.

Convenient location very nice set up

We only stayed 1 night for a Bioluminescence tour. But the fenced in large yard was awesome, especially for a larger family staying longer that would want to take in the outdoors.The house had plenty of space, nice kitchen, bathroom, and living room set ups.Beds are a little hard for my personal preference, but everything is very nice and clean. Super safe neighborhood, close. We used a golf cart and still only about a 15 minute drive to ferry. Only like a 7 minute drive to nearby town restaurants and bars and beach view.Very cool space!!! Would definitely stay again.

Unforgettable experience

A group a friends made this house a home for 1 night while on our trip to Puerto Rico. We all agreed this was the best night out of the week we stayed in PR. Perfect location to walk to the beach to jump off the pier and look through stunning shells. We made great friends with the folks from the bar and restaurant- Duffy's. The house is just steps away from the bioluminescence beach experience, plenty of shopping too. Wild horses will greet you outside the gate. We walked into a very welcoming personal note. The communication with the host was outstanding. They eased any concerns we had. Will be back to the island and will be booking this house again😄

Adequate and pleasant to stay in

The overall property was very nice. Everything was organized, and there was everything we needed from beach supplies to family games. A tip though, neighbors did blare music in the morning and the chickens are very loud. Overall a pleasant stay and was glad for the close proximity to all activities.

Perfect!!

We wanted to stay the night on Vieques so we could do the bioluminescent bay and this house was perfect! You can’t beat the location, walking distance to some AMAZING beaches and restaurants as well as the bio tours. The wild horses are everywhere and beautiful to watch. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had and made check in/out very easy. The beds and living area are very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this house for your launching point for activities. We would recommend 2 nights just because the island is so beautiful and there is so much to see! We can’t wait to go back!
