'Billabong' es una casa de 4 habitaciones convenientemente ubicada que está escondida en una hermosa y tranquila calle sin salida. La casa se encuentra a poca distancia de todas las playas, tiendas y transporte público y está a tiro de piedra del hotel de playa Stradbroke Island.

Hay dos habitaciones queen y dos habitaciones dobles y dos baños. La casa ha sido decorada con buen gusto y es perfecta para su escapada a Straddie.

Fabulous location , the house fit in all our guests comfortably and the 2 bathrooms in the property was very handy ! The kitchen had all the utensils we could ask for too ( the only very small criticism would be that the kitchen knives were blunt ). The best Straddie house we’ve stayed in so far - and yes , we’ll be back !!!!

Reviewer Comments: 'Billaong" was a perfect location for our family to celebrate a special birthday as it walking distance to the hotel where we hosted the event and the beach. The layout of the property itself fabulous sleeping 4 upstairs and 5 downstairs each floor having access to bathrooms. The deck was lovely to sit on and watch the world go by with a little glimpse of the ocean could do with a bit of a sweep and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. My only criticism was the property could do with a deep spring clean, the oven, windows etc and a sort out of the cupboards and wardrobes and don't forget extra toilet paper, but I want to premise this by saying the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. Overall I would highly recommend this property especially as you are allowed to take your doggies with you. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back.

The property however needs a good clean as there was black dust/mould on door stoppers in bedrooms, dog hair and dust in the carpets, especially the bedroomss agianst the walls, dog hair and sand in between the cushons on the lounges, dust on the fans. It is at the beach so sand is to be expected but not to greet on arrival in the grooves of the front door, together with dog hair and a greesy substance.The house was great; it just needs a major deep clean. I would stay again if I knew it had been cleaned.

Nice spot, house OK

The house was great it can accommodate a lot of people, it is cosy and in a nice quiet spot. Walking distance to Cylinder beach. Bedding linen and towels were clean, beds comfy. However, the property needs a really good thorough clean. We still enjoyed our stay on Straddie!

Just what we needed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had two families fit comfortably at Billabong. Having the families separated by upstairs and downstairs living with our own living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms meant we could have privacy if needed. It's a little dated but with kids and for the price it suited us perfectly. The Stradbroke Hotel and beach being within walking distance were huge bonuses too. The outlook was lovely with wildlife at our doorstep. Kangaroos and Kookaburra came to say hello. It was clean and well presented with all amenities included. Will definitely go back.

Reviewer Comments: Negative comments.The house as not clean when we got there, floors had not been hoovered and bits all over. House has not been properly cleaned in a very long time, to the point the rattan mirrors have layers of dust and mould on them and dust could be seen on carpet underneath sofa, without having to move it. The kitchen pantry had a putrid smell within it and all items smelt as well. The bed linen also had musky smell. The downstairs TV didn’t even work. Mentioned to agent and they didn’t seem bothered. Outside shower was broken. Positive comments- great location 5 minutes walk to beach and great sized house for number of guests. Would I stay there again. Probably not as although it had good reviews the house didn’t live up to these reviews or comments due to cleanliness.

Nice little holiday

A few days in January. Hot but ceiling fans made it acceptable. Easy access to beach and food. Great fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. BBQ could do with a clean. Overall very nice

We stayed upstairs and the beds were really comfortable. The property is a short walk to Home beach which is dog friendly and beautiful place to hang out. We were really comfortable in the house. The only thing I would add would be (and it’s not a criticism) is that it would have been nice to have access to a vacuum to help with the upkeep of the property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is just across the road from the Cylinder and Home Beaches, which looked after the need of both the dog and its humans. We found few things that needed cleaning and re-organising (such as pantry and one of the wardrobes) but overall the house was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
