Retiro familiar de esquí en Big White

Hermosa casa adosada de 1750 pies cuadrados con garaje en un lote muy plano con entrada en planta baja en un pequeño estrato privado.

Esta casa cuenta con 3 dormitorios, 2. 5 baños y una sala grande.

Las comodidades incluyen una bañera de hidromasaje en el piso principal con una hermosa vista de las montañas Monashee y una excelente visualización de los fuegos artificiales semanales desde la bañera de hidromasaje.

La casa tiene techos abovedados de 17 pies en el piso principal, calor radiante, una ducha de vapor en el baño principal y una gran gran chimenea de gas. Todos los electrodomésticos que necesitará, incluyendo lavadora, secadora y lavavajillas. La cocina está totalmente equipada e incluye todo lo que necesita para su familia después de esquiar.

First trip to Biggie..

Very well appointed, with great spaces, our family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the large table to gather for dinner and board games, having laundry in unit (requirement) , and beds and bedding were top notch. Hot tub was great after a day on the hill, view looking out toward the mountains is magnificent. Welcome gift was a nice touch after a long drive, accommodation was extremely clean. Location perfect for us, 1/2 way between the Village and Happy Valley day lodge (short walk where we spent most of our evenings out on the Ice Rink hockey stick in hand). Parked our SUV in the oversized garage and didn’t move it until it was time to go home. We strapped skis on in the morning and skied down the end of street and down to Lara’s Gondola, you can also climb up the snow bank in front of the house and ski down to the chairlift . Coming home, ski down the path from the village and drop down from the trail to take off your skis at the front door. We took the Gondola up to the the village 2 nights for dinner, and a short walk downhill back. First visit to Big White, if you are reading this review you already know about the Epic skiing, can’t wait to return and stay here again.

Great home for families!

This was an ideal home for our family of seven. All the kids have their own space and the home was well stocked with games, supplies and extra bedding. Also although our initial plan was to leave our luggage in the garage due to the fact that we arrived earlier than the check in time the owner was super flexible and that they called us when the cleaning was done so we could get in a bit early. The owners were also super responsive to any questions we had, replying to all our inquiries in a timely fashion. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Great property, ideally located for a wonderful family holiday

We were 3 couples and loved this property for our winter escape. The house has plenty of room to move, with seperate living areas so we never felt in each other’s way. The hot tub at the end of a hard days skiing was great to come back to. We cooked in the spacious kitchen nearly every night which saved us heaps. James the owner was very helpful and quickly responded to any questions we had. Highly recommended!

Solitude Strata

The best place to stay! Roomy and comfortable, and luxurious. Ski in and ski out, yet away from the hustle and bustle. We had a ball, and will be seeking to stay again. Have already recommended it to family and friends. Loved Big White, and loved our accommodation. The owners were extremely caring and helpful. Great position and fantastic views. The only problem was that it was so nice that sometimes it made getting out the door to go skiing a little hard.

A great retreat for our ski vacation!!

We rented this home during our Spring Break ski vacation at Big White. We were there for 5 nights and needed a place for our family of four to stretch out and relax after a long day on the slopes. My wife was not able to ski due to an injury, so she wanted a place she would enjoy hanging out at and relax and rejuvenate. This unit is everything we wanted and more. The home is well appointed with all the amenities, has lots of room, it is very clean and the owner made sure everything was ready for our arrival. There is lots of room for the family to feel comfortable. There are three bedroom and plenty of areas for the family to hang out. Our kids enjoyed the recreation room, playing video games, board games, and watching TV, while the adults enjoy the living room and kitchen area to relax and create enjoyable meals. The unit has a hot tub and BBQ, as well as a large garage that could accommodate our SUV with a Thule on top, and is located close to everything. If I was forced to pick any downside at all, it would be that we had a very short walk to cross the plough street before putting on our skies - this was very minor and the unit is well worth the the stay. Our family will definitely be back at Big White in the future and we will be contacting James to rent this property again - I can't say enough about the unit and the owner, who was very flexible and willing to assist us in any way to make his home, our home away from home! Thanks James, and we look forward to returning again soon!

Great for families

This unit is set up perfectly for a wonderful family vacation. It has lots of room, and everything you need for a great trip. Although it would have been nicer to be closer to the gondola/lifts, it was a short walk and you can ski back to the place easily. The hot tub is great - and provides for a perfect view when there's fireworks! The unit is so clean and well-organized, we would definitely like to return again.

Great holiday in big white

We recently had a fantastic holiday here with our family. The place was beatifully appointed, in a great location which made it extra speacial for all of us. Easy ski in/ski out even with our two young children who were able to make it in and out themselves which translates to a more relaxing experience for the parents. The owner was also very helpful in making our stay enjoyable by responding rapidly to our questions and making sure everything was easy for us. I'd definitely stay here again. Great place, great experience.
